STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 660: Encountering a team from medium size force!
5th Zone, City A
Wilderness
Jeremy Night stood face to face against the flower plant corrupted beast. He saw through the strength of the beast.
Since the plant beast couldn’t move away from the spot, he thought it was not good to waste energy against it.
Swoosh!
He decided to leave the place. He changed direction and walked away. In the blink of an eye, the flower plant beast was left there alone.
A few minutes later,
The flower plant corrupted beast dropped its hostility and became a harmless plant again. The presence of the beast was concealed.
If any other Beast Tamers went past here, they wouldn’t be able to sense the beast again.
One hour later,
After going through the semi-barren land, he came across the first group of Beast Tamers. They were all between Tier-3 and Tier-4 Beast Tamers.
The group didn’t have Tier-5 Beast Tamers in the team. Jeremy didn’t waste his time. He approached the group.
The Beast Taming group was resting right now. They had six members in the team. He was confident that he could take them down if the situation went south.
The Beast Tamers noticed that someone was approaching them. They turned around and saw a young man coming towards them.
The group was taken aback. They saw that the young man was a Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He didn’t have any companions with him.
The six-member team was from a medium-level force, so they didn’t despise anyone. They didn’t look down on the young man.
The five members saw that the young man was wearing a face mask, so they were quite curious about his identity.
"Kid, who are you?" a middle-aged, burly man asked.
He was the leader of the group, Bob. He was a Tier-4 Beast Tamer. He looked at the young man with a smile and a kind face.
He saw the young man was wearing a face mask, so one couldn’t tell his identity exactly.
He knew it was rare for Tier-2 Beast Tamers to enter the wilderness. Only those who wanted to experience the wilderness would come here.
Probably, the young man had come here to train.
Jeremy Night turned towards the middle-aged man. He thought that the middle-aged man must be the leader.
"Hello, Senior!"
"I have come here to train. But I wanted to find my organization seniors. They left me long ago. If you know their whereabouts, can you tell me?" Jeremy Night asked.
"What?"
"The kid’s seniors left him in the wilderness alone?"
"Something must have happened."
The other Beast Tamers discussed it among themselves. They were curious about the situation. Why would they let their junior wander alone in the wilderness?
Leader Bob was dumbfounded. He found it hard to believe. He then decided to answer the questions.
"Young man, you can ask your questions," Bob said.
"Thanks, senior. I wanted to know where the Beast Tamers of the Red Moon Chamber are," Jeremy asked.
Gasp!
A loud exclamation occurred. Who didn’t know about the recent situation in the wilderness? The faces of everyone changed drastically.
The illegal organizations had launched an attack on the Red Moon Chamber Beast Tamers. After the fierce fight, the Beast Tamers had parted ways and went in different directions.
The illegal organization members were split into different teams and went after them. The situation was unknown.
They thought the seniors of the young man must have left him to help others. The team members exchanged looks. They didn’t know what to say.
They were from medium-sized forces, so the name of the Red Moon Chamber represented a big force to them. They didn’t want to offend the young man either.
Leader Bob understood the situation. The young man was from the Red Moon Chamber. His eyebrows relaxed.
He said, "Young man, I don’t know what to say."
"Your organization members are facing a life-or-death crisis. They were escaping with their lives, but the illegal members were still chasing after them," Bob said in a solemn tone.
He also thought that the young man’s seniors must have gone to help others.
"Listen to my advice. You can follow us back to the city gate. Then you can return to your organization. But if you continue to stay here, you will be targeted as well," Bob added.
He didn’t want the young Tier-2 Beast Tamer to die for no reason. The illegal members were crossing the line. But this was not the city. The law of survival prevailed in the wilderness.
The city governors couldn’t do anything about it. They were also aware of the force behind the illegal organization. That’s why everyone was silent.
Jeremy frowned. The situation was worse than he had thought. If the people were scattered, then he would have to find them one by one to eliminate them.
He then thanked Team Leader Bob and the others before leaving the place. Leader Bob and the other team members were stunned.
They had thought the kid would say something, but he left without saying anything. They were worried that the kid could encounter some danger.
Leader Bob saw the young man going back. He wanted to stop him. But before he could say anything, the young man disappeared into the woods.
"Sigh!"
"I didn’t even ask the young man’s name. I hope he survives the crisis," Bob muttered to himself.
The team members looked worried as well as they turned towards the leader.
He said, "We can’t afford to offend anyone."
"Let’s just hope the young man survives. We can meet him next time. Let’s go, it’s time for us to depart as well," Bob added.
Hearing that, the team members agreed. They were not in a position to help anyone. If the illegal organization found out, it would anger them.
More importantly, it would be easy for them to take down the medium-sized force behind them. So they had to think about others as well. They were weak right now.
A few minutes later,
The six-member team left the place.
