Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 37: Burn The House Down
Chapter 37: Burn The House Down
"It's too early for this, guys. Keep it down."
The wolves all went silent with a whine, and Jason chuckled before his face took on a more serious look. If he wasn't dreaming, then that meant he also didn't dream up the Book of the Apocalypse or the warning that his father sent to him. They were all heading toward a damned future, and Jason's father was trying to make sure Jason was ready enough to handle it.
Jason needed to start working toward gaining more power, and the first thing he was going to do was go to the Superhuman Management Department building and sell the Magic Crystals he got in the Red Gate. Then, he was going to New York to open a Gate using the Orange Key he received.
New York was only a few miles away from Riverdale, so Jason could reach it in a few hours through the inter-city bus.
Jason sat up in bed and turned to the side to look at his rumpled sheet. There was a red bloodstain in the middle of the sheet, and Jason grinned as memories of last night suddenly flooded his head.
He and Gina had done it three more times before they finally went to bed. But this time they had to be silent so they didn't bother the neighbors.
Jason wondered what she could be doing now, and he stood from the bed and put on a pair of joggers before walking out of the room calmly. He decided to throw the sheet out later since it was ruined.
Jason heard a sound coming from his small kitchen, and he knew that it had to be Gina, and as he moved toward it, the smell of something burning suddenly assaulted him. Jason's brow furrowed in shock, and he entered the kitchen to see Gina hurrying about while trying to stop a flaming frying pan from burning down the house!
Gina had on his t-shirt with a pair of black panties, and Jason felt his eyes trail down to her backside as she bent over with a curse to try and get something out of the oven!
"Shit! Shit! Shit!"
Gina cursed as she threw the frying pan into the sink! A cough came from behind her, and she froze and turned around slowly to see Jason standing there! Gina's face grew red with a blush, and Jason laughed as he spoke.
"What the hell are you doing? Didn't I tell you not to go near my kitchen again? You've nearly burnt my house down more than ten times this year. Shit! Hey! Hey, the fire! The fire!"
The fire that Gina was putting out suddenly roared to life again, and Gina screamed before she quickly began trying to put it out with a cloth! Gina knew she shouldn't use water, so she just beat it like it was her bitch until it went out, and then she tossed the burning pot into the sink with the frying pan! Jason sighed with his hand on his head. He couldn't believe his woman! What the hell was she even doing!?
Gina smiled apologetically and then pouted when Jason gave her a serious look! It wasn't her fault! She had been trying to make something for them to eat, but the fire was too high, so she ended up burning it! The gas line provided way too much gas, so she couldn't control it!
Gina said all this to Jason, and Jason just gave her a deadpan look before an amused smile spread on his lips. He chuckled as Gina pouted even more, and he came over and hugged her. Gina was a horrible cook and had no idea what to do in the kitchen most of the time. But for some reason, she just never stopped trying. It was like someone who couldn't sing going out of their way to go for karaoke every single time! You were setting yourself up for failure!
"Maybe you should stay away from the kitchen from now on. You're going to burn this place down if you don't. Come on, let's order something online. I don't have school today, so I have the morning free. Do you have to go to work?"
Gina was still pouting about Jason laughing at her, but when Jason mentioned ordering something, she brightened up and immediately shouted for pizza! It was way too early, but it didn't matter since there was no one there to stop them! They were going to have pizza for breakfast!
Gina told Jason that she didn't have to go to work till later in the afternoon, and Jason laughed. He leaned down and gave her a small peck on the lips, and Gina blushed brightly before getting up on her toes and kissing him deeply.
Gina held his neck softly and enjoyed the kiss for a while before she pulled back with a sigh and spoke.
"Happy birthday, Jason."
Jason's brow rose as he suddenly remembered that it was his birthday! He had totally forgotten about that! He smiled and told Gina a heartfelt thank you, and Gina buried her face into his chest with a happy whine.
"I still don't think this is real. You, me... us. I'm so happy it could kill me."
Jason laughed and pecked her on her crown. He felt her breasts pressing into his chest, and the sight of her ass peeking out from under his shirt lit something inside of him! Jason's hand instinctively began to trail down Gina's back, and he grabbed her large ass tightly! Gina jolted in surprise at the action, and she slapped him on the chest playfully.
"Pervert!"
Jason laughed as his phone suddenly rang, and he spoke up while taking the phone out of his pocket.
"I wasn't the one keeping the neighbors up last night. Come on, order some pizza while I take this."
Gina punched Jason on the shoulder with a heavier blush as Jason moved away to pick up his call, and he chuckled again.
He could hear Gina putting a call through for pizza behind him, and Jason walked to the couch in the living room and answered the phone. There were cans of beer lying around the couch, and Jason took one of them and drank it calmly. He was eighteen now, so he could drink all he wanted! The beer tasted bitter and hot, but not bad, and Jason listened as his mother's voice came through from the other side of the phone.
[Hello? Jason?]
"Hey, mum."
Jason answered with a smile, and he asked his mother how she was doing. His mother just waved away his concern and said she was fine. She didn't call to tell him how she was doing.

[Happy birthday, baby. I hope you're enjoying yourself with Gina.]
Jason laughed and said he was, before his mother continued.
[I got you something for your birthday, but it's back at the apartment. Come over tonight so I'll give it to you. The doctor said I'll be free to leave by then.]
"Alright. I'll pick you up this evening—"
[No, you don't need to pick me up.]
"Mum, don't be difficult. I'll pick you up. There's something I have to do this afternoon, so I'll be in New York for a while, but I should be back before nightfall. If I'm not, then Gina'll pick you up. You shouldn't be moving around in your state."
On the other side of the phone, Mira smiled at Jason's tone. Jason could be very overbearing at times like this, and Mira knew that it was just because of how much he loved her. Jason had been caring for the family for so long, so she had gotten used to it.
Mira spoke up again while waving hello to a passing nurse who poked her head into the room to see how she was doing.
[Why are you going to New York? Is it for Superhero business?]
Jason chuckled when his mum said 'superhero', but he didn't bother correcting her.
"Yeah... something like that. I need to register with the SMD first, then I need to go to New York for something else."
Mira sighed tiredly. The entire concept of being a superhuman was completely lost on her, so she still couldn't really understand how much her son had changed.
