BWOOOHHH!!
A loud bellow echoed through the sky as the beast of the apocalypse trekked across the military base and froze everything around it! A massive storm cloud had formed over the area, and there was a mighty cold wind that froze the ground and formed massive ice statues out of any soldier who was too weak to withstand the chill! Soldiers used every single weapon in their arsenal to fight back! There were massive Gatling guns located on the roofs of the buildings that were shooting superheated lasers at the beast, and multiple air carriers were keeping their distance as they tried to take the beast down with well-positioned attacks! But it was as if nothing at all could stop this beast, and many of the foot soldiers who were trying to run away ended up getting attacked and killed by Jason’s other subordinates!

In every corner of the world, the Machina were all suffering a fate worse than what Alexander was going through! At least Alexander had the capacity to defend himself against the monsters that had come for him, and there was a chance that he would survive since he was strong! But the Machina all over the world didn’t have that same luxury! The average strength of a Machina in this world was A Rank, and only those who were in the military were known to possess powers that were in the SS and above. But even though this power level might seem like something extraordinary to the rest of the Primordial Domain, since no other world in the Primordial Domain had such a large number of S Rank and above, it was nothing at all to Jason’s Legion! Jason’s Legion was made up of so many high-level monsters that it almost looked like the Machina were children trying to fight back against literal monsters!
"Kill it! Just open fire and kill it right now! Forget about the formation!"
"Help! Help!"
"They’re inside the labs! The monsters are inside the labs!"
"We need to save the augmentations! There are soldiers inside the containment chambers!"
"My experiments! Help! Help me!"
A scientist shouted out to the soldiers around him as he scrambled backwards to get away from the monster approaching them! There were hundreds of scientists running around the lab to try to escape with their experiments, but there were just too many Legion members! The Dragonborn Sovereign held his large sword in one hand as he approached the large group of scientists! His sword was dripping with the blood of his previous victims, and in his other hand, he was dragging the body of a Machina that he had been using as a shield. All this time, the Legion had been held back by Jason’s morality, and they had never committed a genocide on this level because they always followed their master’s orders to ensure they didn’t kill excessively. But now that Jason’s morality had been corrupted by Gillian’s toxins, the Legion did not have anything holding them back, and the Legion was finally showing just how much damage a group of undead soldiers could truly wreak on any world! The Machina soldiers immediately opened fire once the Sovereign was close enough, but the Sovereign tossed the dead Machina’s body into the air to block the attacks before he dashed to the side with his sword drawn back and charged into the group!
SLASH!
PHWOOOMM!
A wave of fire suddenly burst out from the Sovereign’s sword and tore across the large group of soldiers! And in the next moment, the lab exploded!
KA-BOOOM!!
On the other side of the world, the large facility that was in charge of carrying out Augmentation experiments on the Machina was being overrun by multiple large dragons! The dragons released loud roars as they latched onto the roofs and sides of the buildings, and without any warning, they began to send fire down into the buildings to roast everything inside!
ROARRRR!!
A large group of Machina soldiers that were part of the Legion marched across the major road of the world and fired at everything around them with reckless abandon! There were many Machina soldiers trying to fight back against the Legion soldiers, but the Legion soldiers were not afraid of death, and this meant that they ran straight towards the danger and fired at the Machina soldiers like madmen! This one action placed true fear within the hearts of the Machina soldiers, and one of the lieutenants leading the Machina soldiers screamed for everyone to retreat! The Lieutenants had been forced to take up the position of leaders after they realised that none of the Generals were present in the battle! But unlike the Generals that were all SSS Rank and above, the Lieutenants were only S and SS Ranks, and this meant that the Lieutenants were nowhere near strong enough to withstand the sheer power of the Legion!
"Fall back! Fall back and regroup! Fall back right – ARGH!"
The soldier was shot in the back before he could even finish his orders, and the rest of the soldiers ran away as they were chased down by the Legion subordinates!
In another large building that served as the main learning facility for young Machina to be trained, multiple soldiers were standing guard around the school as the children were quickly being evacuated! The soldiers could feel a tremor travelling through the ground at irregular intervals, and they knew that this was from the multiple battles that were taking place around the world. It was only a matter of time before the enemies came here as well, and the soldiers were ready to put down their lives for the sake of the young children!
ROARRR!
A loud roar suddenly echoed from above, and the Machina looked up in shock as they saw a mighty dragon blocking out the sun! Ragnar fell from the sky and landed on top of a large roof that overlooked the Machina learning facility! The children who had been running away all fell down in fear once they saw the dragon, and the soldiers quickly brought up their weapons as they shouted for everyone to get into formation! A large plume of smoke flowed out from Ragnar’s mouth as he prepared to attack. Ragnar was a TITAN Rank beast, so all it would take was one attack, and he could kill every single person there! But a voice suddenly rang through Ragnar’s head.
’No.’
That one word was spoken with absolute authority, and Ragnar realised that this was the voice of the true Jason, not the Jason that was under Gillian’s control. Even though Jason had been taken over by the toxin that Gillian released into him, there were still traces of the true Jason underneath, and that was who had spoken to Ragnar at that moment. Ragnar drew back its attack as it accepted the order, and the soldiers were all surprised when the dragon took off without hurting any of the children! A lot of soldiers began to rejoice since they were still alive, but the commanding officers quickly told them to start getting the children into the bunkers, and they moved quickly to do just that!
Inside one of the military buildings, a few miles away from the Learning Facility, a wounded soldier limped through the halls of the base camp as he made his way to a secret room! The soldier’s left arm had been cut clean off, and there was blood leaking from a large wound he had received on his forehead! His right leg had a large gash from a dagger, and his left foot had been bent wrong, but he was still managing to limp forward, since he knew that this was their only chance for survival.
