Strongest Necromancer System-Chapter 717: The Fourth Entry II
[The Book of The Apocalypse]
[Entry Four]
Hello, Jason.
At this point, it feels like a lifetime since I last wrote one of these. I don’t even know if you’re receiving these messages quickly enough or if I am simply writing to tell you about things that you’ve already gone through. I would love to hear from you as well, but it is still too dangerous for me to reveal my location to anyone, so I’ll have to continue enjoying my solitude for now.
I hope you are doing well, my son. I’ve travelled for more than eight years at this point, and I’ve seen worlds and monsters that were beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m certain that you have also gained a lot of knowledge about the world around you, but I assure you that what you know as of now is nothing compared to what is really out there. The world is vast, and it is your duty as my son to gain as much knowledge about it as you can.
Have you finally become a TITAN, son? I know a lot of people say it’s not easy to climb the ranks, but you are an Avaran as well as my heir, so I’m sure you can reach that rank easily! As a TITAN, there is a lot more of the world that would be opened to you. You are only a step away from becoming a Primordial, but this is the moment when you must be more careful than ever before, since there are many creatures out there that would want to kill you. But the one thing I can assure you is that the moment you become a Primordial, and you gain the strength to truly protect yourself, I’ll tell you the truth about where I am and what I am doing.
I know I sound a lot more serious now, but you can’t blame me, really! If you spent so long fighting against monsters every single day, I doubt you would be able to retain your humor for long either! But I digress! I hope Gina is doing alright. The two of you always looked like you were a moment away from jumping each other, and we, the parents, were really worried that you would get her pregnant before you even turned eighteen! But now that you’re older, I wouldn’t be surprised if you already put a baby in her! Haha! Make sure you take care of her, son. She is a good woman who truly loves you. And make sure she isn’t alone when she starts to grow a belly. I remember the first time I had a child. It was a difficult pregnancy because my wife was not a warrior and her body was weak, but I was there with her as much as I could, and on the day I finally held my little boy in my hands, it felt like I had conquered an entire world in battle. I felt the same way with all of my children, all the way down to little Maya, that troublemaker. I hope you get to experience that same feeling, my boy. There is truly no greater sensation in the world.
Now, onto more serious matters. Recently, I have been hearing news about a potential rebellion that would soon take place in the Primordial Expanse. There is a group known as the Court of Apostles, and they have been recruiting warriors from all around the Primordial Expanse for what they call the Great Upheaval. I fear that if this rebellion is allowed to occur, the world will be plunged into an era that is far worse than what occurred during the Period of Lawlessness. There will be bloodshed and death, unlike anything we have ever witnessed. I cannot do anything from where I am currently, so I wish for you to look into this for me.
You need to meet with the Queen of the Angel Race, Rak’hael, and convince her to tell you the truth about how the Period of Lawlessness ended. There is a clue within that tale that will allow us to decipher what the Court of Apostles is truly after. Of course, Rak’hael will not give you what you need willingly. She’s a feisty woman, that one, and right from the moment I saw her, I could tell that she has a larger stick up her ass than even Farlow! Rak’hael also has a great disdain for all Avarans, and although I don’t know the exact reason why, I think it might have something to do with the fact that I left her at the altar on the day we were meant to get married... but I’m sure that isn’t it. Haha. Anyway, you will need to convince Rak’hael to tell you what you need to know and use that knowledge to figure out the true purpose of the Court of Apostles before they can begin their plan. The fate of the Primordial Expanse literally rests on your shoulders. No pressure, kid.
Say hello to your sisters and mother for me. I miss them more than words can describe, and I hope they are doing fine back on Earth. Also, there’s this little girl Agiel that I used to take care of - but I suppose she wouldn’t be so little anymore. She works in the Superhumans Management Department as an Enforcer, and she’s the sort of person to allow herself to drown in work without ever trying to make any friends. If you drop by there sometime, help me say hello. Hopefully, you can be the friend that she desperately needs.
Finally, I’m sure you have a lot of questions for me about your half-siblings and stepmothers. You’ve probably met one or two of them by now, since there are so many, and I’m sure you’ll be meeting many others in the future. The Avaran Royal family has a culture of polygamy that spans centuries, and although I won’t force that culture on you since you grew up very differently, and I will be happy with whatever future you choose for yourself, I just want to let you know that, as an Avaran man, it is in your nature to surround yourself with powerful women. But ensure that whichever woman you choose for yourself is someone who will fit well into your family. I made the mistake of allowing my father to choose my first wife for me, and that mistake has been haunting me all my life.
I pray you stay safe, my son, and continue to grow stronger every day. There is danger at every corner of this accursed world, so make sure you are always ready for what comes.
Until we speak again,
Your father.
——
Jason let out a calm sigh as he finished reading the message, and he let out a scoff in amusement. Jason could literally sense the tiredness in this letter. It was obvious that his father had written this after fighting for a long time. But Jason could also tell that even after all this time, his father still cared about them all. There were a lot of times when Jason had said that he didn’t ever want to be a man like his father. Jason had been around his mother, and he had seen how hard she had to work to care for all of them every day, so he always thought that his father had abandoned his mother to a life of suffering. But after hearing from his father and learning just how hard Richard was working, Jason realised that he had been wrong. Jason still didn’t want to leave his family behind, but the respect Jason had for his father was greater than what he had for anyone in this world.
Jason read through the letter for a second time, and he scoffed again as he read the part about Agiel. So Agiel had been saying the truth after all. Jason had been a little sceptical about Agiel’s claim to know his father, but this letter basically proved that Agiel was actually who she said she was. But it was the part where Richard spoke about Jason’s step-mothers and half-siblings that really made Jason laugh.
