Meng Jueyan's heart thumped hard, her breath caught in her throat.

She had never seen Ju Fan fight before but had heard a bit from the guards. He had been considered dangerous, unpredictable and vicious. But this was different. This was precision, technique, and cold efficiency.

Han Yu struck back immediately. He aimed a punch toward the first disciple's chest. The man blocked again, then countered with a punch of his own. Han Yu parried it with his forearm and twisted in, knee rising to strike the man in the abdomen.

THUD

The disciple gasped and stumbled back.

The second disciple appeared behind Han Yu, bringing down a palm strike reinforced with Moon Blood Qi. The air trembled with force. Han Yu ducked instantly, the strike cutting through the air above his head and splitting a stone lantern behind him into two.

"How is he moving like that?" a watching disciple whispered in disbelief.

"He is mid Core Condensation like them, right?"

"Then why is he not getting overwhelmed?"

Han Yu continued moving in quiet, terrifying efficiency.

He flickered forward again. The trio exchanged blows, strikes and blocks echoing through the road. Dust rose from the force of their movements. Their silhouettes shifted constantly, never staying in one place for more than a blink.

Minutes passed with neither side gaining clear advantage.

Han Yu knew that dragging this out accomplished nothing. Fighting two competent mid stage Core Condensation realm disciples without using his true strengths would become a liability. His control over Qi and physical strength kept him afloat, but he needed to end it decisively.

He waited for an opening, then found it.

The first disciple lunged with a wild strike, overconfident that Han Yu was tiring. The moment the man's shoulder rotated forward, Han Yu switched tactics.

Instead of meeting fist with fist, his hand relaxed and extended into a single rigid finger.

Poke.

A tiny but precise jab pressed into a nerve cluster between the shoulder and collarbone.

A gray light flickered at his fingertip. A ripple of soul Qi laced with intent, masked among Blood Qi, surged into the man's body.

The disciple's eyes went wide. His entire right arm dropped limply as if made of water.

"What... what did he do to me?" he shouted in panic.

"Pulse Cutting Jab! someone muttered. "Or is that a curse technique?"

"No, he is an alchemist. Could be poison."

Others shook their heads.

"I have never seen that skill before."

Han Yu did not pause to let them wonder.

The second disciple attacked again, a furious expression on his face. His leg swept toward Han Yu's side, but Han Yu bent backward, letting the leg pass over him. As the man passed above, Han Yu struck upward with another rigid fingertip.

Poke.

His finger touched the soft hollow at the man's throat for just a brief moment.

The second disciple staggered, clutching his neck. His breath came in harsh gasps. His eyes bulged in panic.

"I cannot breathe... my airway... I cannot breathe properly..." he rasped.

He wasted more air by yelling, worsening his condition.

Han Yu slipped behind him with deliberate calm and jabbed at the man's right shoulder. Another sharp poke. The disciple's right arm went limp instantly.

His partner, seeing this, screamed angrily and charged with his one remaining arm. But his balance was off. His steps were unstable. He tried to channel Qi into his legs to steady himself, but everything felt wrong.

Han Yu flowed around him like running water.

Poke.

A precise strike hit the back of the man's left shoulder. The arm fell dead.

"What the hell!" the disciple shouted in growing terror. "Both arms... both arms... I cannot move them!"

Han Yu's eyes narrowed slightly. He stepped behind him again and jabbed just above the sacral bone, perfectly targeting the sensory nerves.

Poke.

The man's legs went slack.

He collapsed on the stone ground like a puppet with its strings cut.

The other disciple saw this and tried to flee in panic, but his breath was too shallow. Han Yu stepped beside him and jabbed his waist next.

Poke.

THUD

The man's legs buckled and he toppled beside his partner, both now paralyzed from the waist down. They writhed helplessly on the ground, faces twisted with fear and confusion.

"Ju Fan... Ju Fan stop... whatever you used... remove it... remove it now..." one of them gasped.

The watching disciples who had originally expected to see Ju Fan humiliated were now silent.

Some were terrified.

Some were impressed.

Some looked sick.

One whispered, "He took down two mid Core Condensation cultivators like they were nothing. What kind of skill was that?"

Another replied, "Something involving poison manipulation. Only an alchemist would use something this bizarre that can precisely target meridians and nerves."

A third muttered, "That is Ju Fan for you. Always twisted. Always dangerous."

Meng Jueyan stood behind Han Yu with wide eyes.

She had seen brutality all her life. She had endured torture. She had witnessed cruelty in its purest forms. But this was different. Han Yu had not screamed, had not laughed, had not threatened. He had moved without hesitation, without emotion, and without mercy.

He was like a blade wrapped in silence.

She felt goosebumps rise along her arms.

The two fallen disciples stared up at Han Yu with pure horror in their eyes now.

But Han Yu was not finished.

He crouched down slowly, his expression colder than the winter winds of the Great Continent.

"The next time you speak about me or anything related to me," he said quietly, "you will lose more than your limbs."

The disciples shivered.

Then Han Yu straightened. He lifted his foot.

And stomped.

KACHA

The crack echoed across the stone walkway like a thunderclap.

The first disciple screamed as his leg shattered into a dozen fragments. Bone pierced through skin. Blood splattered the path. His partner tried to crawl away but could not even lift his head properly. His terror made him gasp for breath like a fish out of water.
