"Ooohhh!" The ox was charging toward Nathan, not caring about all the obstacles on the way. Several other familiars followed right behind while their summoner only followed so that they weren’t going outside her summoning range.

However, with this position, their summoner should be safe.

On the other hand, Nathan couldn’t really summon his divine beasts since it would just give away his identity.

With Nathan being the weaker one, he should be the one losing, but the enemy had just made the biggest mistake in her life. She shouldn’t have fought the devil in its den.

Nathan ran from the ox with his new footwork, allowing him to maintain fast enough speed to outrun the ox. However, he wasn’t going too fast to make sure that the ox wouldn’t go in other ways.

The inside of the building looked like a labyrinth, but this was what Nathan actually needed.

He ran through the corridor while summoning multiple bullets, shooting the ox. The latter blocked all the bullets with his giant hammer, but that stance didn’t allow other familiars to pass him. As a result, Nathan only had to worry about the ox.

In fact, Nathan let the ox catch up to him, making him think he had enough speed to attack Nathan. If there was an opportunity, he would strike Nathan and crush him.

With all these layers of traps, the ox had no choice but to fully focus on Nathan.

"Roo!" The ox roared and swung his hammer after catching up to him.

Nathan suddenly leaped as though he was forcefully using his ena to increase his speed, barely avoiding the hammer.

Seeing there was a junction in front, Nathan summoned bullets and arranged them so that they would shoot in rapid succession while he was turning around, baiting the ox to follow him.

The ox slowed down and turned. With his giant body, he barely fit in the corridor. If he recklessly went around, he would end up destroying everything.

As a result, Nathan looked like he was getting away, so the ox increased his speed to the limit to catch up to him.

Nathan smiled and fired several bullets, ready to hit him again. Surprisingly, Nathan held it for a bit as though he was aiming for a specific part, which required more control and aim.

What the ox didn’t realize was that Nathan only wanted him to raise that hammer to block the bullets, since it would cover a portion of the ox’s vision.

He ultimately missed the small box Nathan formed and left behind next to an armor stand.

Once other familiars passed it, the box became unstable and exploded.

"!!!" Other familiars panicked. One of them hurriedly used their ena to form a barrier and covered the rest from the explosion, but it launched him into the wall.

Boom!

"!!!" The ox was startled and abruptly stopped, thinking his summoner was caught up in the explosion.

Before they could think, Nathan had already sent forth more bullets. The ox hurriedly turned back to smash the bullets, but Nathan spread in all corners of the corridor, causing the ox to be unable to destroy everything. He smashed the ones flying on the floor and the left side of the wall, but the bullets on the ceiling and the right side of the wall passed him.

They all went straight to the middle-aged woman.

Unfortunately, there was no way the familiar would allow their summoner to be harmed. One of them stood in front of their summoner and used her ability to destroy the remaining bullets.

Since the ox didn’t have to worry about his summoner anymore, he continued chasing after Nathan.

Nathan had used that time to summon more bullets, this time merging them together.

The ox didn’t care. He swung his hammer with all his might, destroying some of the bullets.

Still, these bullets contained more power than the normal bullets. When they suddenly curved and hit the ox’s body, it pierced through its skin and burned its flesh.

"Rooo?" The ox was startled, wanting to be careful. But this was when a few bullets penetrated the wall and hit their summoner.

"!!!" The familiar in charge of their summoner’s protection was startled. It didn’t have enough time to actually activate her ability, so she leaped and pushed down her summoner.

"Kh!" One of the bullets pierced through her leg.

If this was a normal fight, Nathan would truly have no chance of defeating the old woman. However, the terrain allowed him to be sneaky. In addition, while he couldn’t use other familiars, there was still one familiar he actually summoned.

And that was Anubis.

When he was running away from the ox, he passed a room a bit closer and summoned him behind the door so that no one realized Anubis was there to support him.

Then, Anubis activated his Synchronization and healed him, which would allow Nathan to fight the enemy on equal ground. In addition, Anubis still had the Punishment Ability. With all the ruckus and ena fluctuations coming from Nathan, as long as Anubis timed his ability perfectly, no one would realize his existence. Of course, if they still felt his existence, he could simply recall Anubis at the last moment.

The ox wanted to continue, but it abruptly fell into Anubis’ scale.

"!!!" His physical strength, including his speed, decreased for no apparent reason. "Roo?"

Nathan immediately turned around and switched to the offensive. He mixed normal bullets with explosive bullets and shot them toward their summoner.

The ox noticed the strength of the explosive bullets, so it struck down as many bullets as possible, albeit the explosions still knocked him away. The remaining familiars joined hands to protect their summoner.

Looking at the situation, their summoner had finally realized Nathan’s intention. "Be careful of his familiars. He can call it at any moment. Don’t let him ambush us."

Nathan smirked, playing along. "Oh my. Did I get busted? This old woman is much smarter than I originally thought. Well, I wonder when I will summon my familiar."

Considering Selena and the others were grandmaster level summoners, it wouldn’t be weird for the old woman to think that Nathan was at the same level, meaning he could summon several familiars as strong as the ox.

That was why she had to be careful. And confirming it just made the old woman believe this was the trick and Nathan was racking his brain to come up with another one.

"Well, how should I kill you now?" Nathan smirked.
