Chapter 1029 -1029: The Pathfinder
“Di Esi… go… you… stay…” Wei Wufu said to Kristin.
Ordinary people find it hard to understand Wei Wufu’s words, but Kristin did understand. He looked at Wei Wufu and slowly said, “Understanding differs, he chose one path, I chose another; thus, he left first, and I, still have unfinished business, now is not the time for me to leave.”
After speaking, Kristin took out the book “Lin Shen’s Peerless Divine Skill” and handed it to Wei Wuwei: “After reading it, perhaps you will understand.”
Wei Wufu didn’t say anything, just took the book and silently flipped through it, page by page.
Kristin watched Wei Wufu with interest, not speaking to interrupt him, just watching like that.
In fact, Kristin never thought of keeping this book for himself. Di Esi had given this book to him, and he too wanted to pass the book on or return it to Lin Shen’s relatives.
He just hadn’t expected that the person who would come would be Wei Wufu; in fact, he thought it would be Ouyang Yudu.
Kristin didn’t know much about Wei Wufu, so he wanted to see if Wei Wufu could understand this book.
If he could understand it, Kristin would allow him to take the book away; but if he couldn’t understand, Kristin would continue to keep this book for himself.
Even though this book was written by Lin Shen, it does not mean that people close to Lin Shen have the right to inherit it.
This book is no longer a possession of a single person but relates to the future of the entire Cosmic.
Wei Wufu flipped through the pages one by one, and to Kristin’s disappointment, he showed no changes whatsoever.
Before Kristin could speak, Wei Wufu handed the book back to him and then got up to leave.
“Just leaving like this?” Kristin asked.
“Yes,” Wei Wufu nodded in reply.
“How much did you understand?” Kristin became curious about this strange man.
“A bit.”
“And then?”
“Find someone.”
“If you want to find Lin Shen, you have to understand this book first.”
“He… later… now… not looking…”
“Then who are you looking for?”
“Bad people.”
Kristin paused, somewhat unable to understand Wei Wufu’s thought process, wondering what this guy really meant.
Kristin didn’t know how to continue asking, yet Wei Wufu turned around, looked at him and asked, “In the Cosmic… who… is the worst…”
Kristin paused again, then mused, “Speaking of bad people, there are many in the Cosmic, and bad people have various definitions. To speak of the universally recognized worst person, I can think of would be the Evil Dharma King Roger. Are you looking for him?”
“How bad?” Wei Wufu didn’t answer, only continued to ask.
“Because of the Evil Law, he only commits evil, never does good deeds, destroys families, kills and usurps, steals and deceives; anything evil, he does it all. But because his strength is too mighty, even though everyone knows of his evils, no one can do anything about him. Does that count as bad?”
“Bad enough.” Wei Wufu nodded.
“You’re looking for him?” Kristin was really curious, wondering what exactly Wei Wufu wanted to do.
“Is it… you… help me…” Wei Wufu said, phrasing it as a question.
“I can, but I want to know what you want him for?” Kristin asked.
“To find a way…”
Kristin didn’t understand, but his interest was piqued, so he decided to take Wei Wufu to meet the infamous Roger of the Evil Law.
The Purga Moon Star System might be the most desolate one.
But long ago, it was a bustling star system with hundreds of inhabitable planets, home to thousands of intelligent species.
Until Roger settled here, and since then, no living beings have survived in the Purga Moon Star System, not even bacteria.
On the lonely Ghost Star, akin to a land of death, Kristin and Wei Wufu met Roger.
Like a statue, the man sat on a rock, as if he were an unchanging boulder from the ages.
“Kristin, have you come to seek revenge for the trash of the Diman Tribe?” Roger lifted his head, shaking off the thick dust that had accumulated over countless years, dust that had settled on him so he appeared more like a stone statue, even the wrinkles on his face filled with dust.
Seeing Kristin, Roger’s frown unfurled like a chrysanthemum, revealing a disturbingly sinister smile.
He had killed too many geniuses, which gave him immense pleasure.
“No, he is the one looking for you.” Kristin pointed to Wei Wufu standing beside him.
“You’re looking for me?” Roger turned his head to look at Wei Wufu, sizing him up with initial impatience. But as he watched, a terrifying gleam sparked in his eyes, and he stood up, the dust falling from his body like smoke and clouds.
“You? A bad person?” Wei Wufu asked earnestly.
“Haha… Yes… I am bad… the worst person in the world… what about it?” Roger laughed wickedly, tall and thin like a skeleton climbed out from hell.
“Fight.” Wei Wufu was straightforward, donning a White Robe, his body starting to emit a purple glow.
Kristin stared at Wei Wufu, incredulous that a Nirvana Being would dare to challenge Roger, the Evil Dharma King. It was no different from seeking death.
“Then let’s fight.” Instead of mocking, Roger seriously agreed, appearing to truly regard this Nirvana Being as a worthy opponent.
As the Evil Law intertwined wildly, as if to devour the entire planet along with Wei Wufu.
Kristin witnessed an unbelievable scene, the void exploded, with an Order Light Chain winding around a crown emerging from nothingness, descending onto Wei Wufu’s head.
Kristin could feel the power of the crown, seeming to complement and counter Roger’s Evil Law, as if they represented two sides of the world, one good and one evil, one light and one dark, one yin and one yang.
“The Law of Justice?” Kristin realized the hint, also understanding why Wei Wufu had come to find the worst person in the world.
Only in the presence of evil can justice be manifested; without evil, there would be no justice, and under absolute fairness, both evil and justice would lose their meaning.
Wei Wufu was looking to ascend to the Righteous Dharma King by leveraging Roger’s Evil Law.
But in the next second, Kristin’s face turned to disbelief, as Wei Wufu did not accept the coronation of the crown.
He threw a punch, the purple aura soared up, striking the Crown of Justice back and causing the connected Order Light Chain to clink.
The purple aura around Wei Wufu grew more intense, rising to the sky turning into a divine series of light and shadow, infinite Law Power transforming into chains continuously entwining around him, making his energy increasingly terrifying.
“Justice… resides… in the heart… cannot… fail…” Wei Wufu threw a punch, the furious Fist Power penetrating the Star River, shattering the Evil Law enveloping the planet, also piercing through the void, a mysterious gate emerged from the void.
