Lin Feng and Zhou Yang moved like lightning; no one could halt their advance, not even for half a second.

Blade flashes and blood spray marked their passage, accompanied by the chilling screams of the burly men attempting to block them. Soon, they had carved a bloody path forward.

This thirty-meter corridor had transformed into a path of blood in just tens of seconds. Countless crimson spatters seeped into the carpeted floor and splashed onto the ornate walls, dyeing everything a deep red.

Lin Feng had already reached the third level of Inner Strength. In a confined space like this corridor, ordinary men posed no threat to him. Furthermore, with Zhou Yang's expert coordination, they had managed to incapacitate nearly a hundred opponents, yet, astonishingly, not a single one had managed to even touch Lin Feng.

Throughout the engagement, Lin Feng's knife moved with a light touch, specifically targeting his opponents' weapon-wielding hands or their Achilles' tendons. Thus, although the scene of dozens of men writhing and screaming looked brutal, none had actually sustained life-threatening injuries.

"Sixty-one!" Standing before the office door of the Spring Flower Garden's manager, Lin Feng, gripping his watermelon knife that still dripped with fresh blood, calmly stated the number.

This was the count of thugs Lin Feng had just injured, and also the number of times his blade had struck.

"I'm at sixty-five!" Zhou Yang, standing behind Lin Feng, was somewhat out of breath but proclaimed cheerfully.

"Your count is off. You hit at least eighteen guys I'd already taken out of the fight," Lin Feng said with a laugh. "That's cheating!"

"Close enough," Zhou Yang replied with an awkward smile. "Anyway, one more cut won't kill them, so it doesn't matter if I include them. Besides, Boss, you were leading the charge, so you had the advantage."

Before Lin Feng could say more, the office door suddenly burst open. Behind it stood a middle-aged, bald man brandishing a submachine gun, his gaze chilling. A frigid smile touched his lips as he said emotionlessly, "You two are certainly in high spirits! Facing death, and still in the mood to argue over such trivialities!"

Through the wide-open door, Lin Feng saw a mature yet still stunningly beautiful woman with an impressive figure behind the bald man. Her mouth was stuffed with a silk stocking, and she was tightly bound to a chair. Red slap marks stood out on her fair face.

When the woman saw Lin Feng and Zhou Yang, her despairing face first flickered with confusion and shock. Soon, however, she recognized Lin Feng, and a gleam of excitement lit her previously lifeless eyes.

It didn't take much for Lin Feng to guess that the woman bound to the chair was Chen Chunhua, the owner of Spring Flower Garden. Seeing the situation, Lin Feng knew Chen Chunhua had clearly been interrogated and had suffered considerably.

"What are you gawking at, kid? Anything interesting to see?" the gunman scoffed at Lin Feng. He arrogantly flourished the gun in his hand and said to Lin Feng, "I don't know who you two are, or where you came from, but I can tell you this: you're dead men! So what if your martial arts are good? Can your hands and feet outrun a bullet?"

Hearing the bald man's words, Lin Feng smiled faintly. He casually flicked the blood from his watermelon knife, raised an eyebrow, and fixed his gaze on the armed man. "You must be the new Manager Ma?" he asked lightly.

"Hmph, so you know of my existence. Are you two really the experts Lord Dragon sent?!" the bald man snorted upon hearing Lin Feng. He spoke gravely, "I am Ma Wenhui. This is the Spring Flower Garden—no, it's not called the Spring Flower Garden anymore. I am now the manager of this establishment! Any objections?"

Lin Feng and Zhou Yang exchanged a smile and silently shook their heads. It wasn't that they had no objections; they found Ma Wenhui's confidence laughable. Did he really think that holding a submachine gun gave him complete control of the situation?

"Manager Ma, you must be from the battle hall, right? Following Chen Ming in an act of insubordination, even plotting against Lord Dragon... Manager Ma, that's not very wise of you!" Lin Feng said, his gaze serious as he stared at Ma Wenhui. He was being extremely cautious; he didn't want to capsize in the gutter. He was already prepared to strike. At such close range, he was confident he could subdue Ma Wenhui before the man could pull the trigger.

"Saying something like that, are you playing dumb?!" Ma Wenhui laughed and shook his head. He didn't recognize Lin Feng, nor did he realize Lin Feng's words were just a probe. Looking at Lin Feng with pitying eyes, Ma Wenhui chuckled coldly. "You must already know that the Tianxing Club has probably been burned to the ground by now! Let me tell you, that was Brother Ming's handiwork after he took care of Lord Dragon. Now, do you still think I'm being irrational?"

Hearing Ma Wenhui admit to Chen Ming's actions, Lin Feng was stunned. Although he had suspected this incident was related to Chen Ming, Hall Master of the battle hall, he was shocked at how decisively Chen Ming had acted, truly making a move against Long Shaotian! Though he didn't know if Long Shaotian was still alive, learning that their opponent was Chen Ming brought Lin Feng a sense of relief amidst his shock. Chen Ming had made a rare miscalculation; no matter how cunning, he'd never have expected one of his own subordinates, Ma Wenhui, to openly admit to this.

Lin Feng and Zhou Yang exchanged a silent glance, each seeing a trace of gratification in the other's eyes. Obtaining this information meant their trip to the Spring Flower Garden hadn't been in vain after all.

Meanwhile, Chen Chunhua, still bound to the chair, heard Ma Wenhui's arrogant confession. A flicker of emotion crossed her previously grim face. Chen Ming had lost to Long Shaotian in the election for leadership of the Jiangzhou headquarters. Now, not only was he failing to dutifully carry out his duties as the Hall Master of the battle hall, but he was also conspiring against his superior—a despicable, traitorous act! Ma Wenhui, far from feeling any shame, seemed proud of it. This blatant display thoroughly infuriated Chen Chunhua.

Filled with anger, she glanced at Lin Feng and Zhou Yang, a twinge of regret in her heart. What a pity for Lin Feng and the unknown expert beside him. Not only have they failed to rescue me, but they're likely going to die here too...

"By the way..." Ma Wenhui gestured with the submachine gun towards Lin Feng and Zhou Yang's chests, speaking with great arrogance, "I seem to have accidentally said a few things I shouldn't have, and you two heard them... That really shouldn't have happened!"

"What are you getting at?" Lin Feng asked, noticing a particular glint in Ma Wenhui's eyes, sensing he had more to say.

"I can see you two are capable individuals. Instead of throwing your lives away for Lord Dragon, whose fate is sealed, why not join forces with me, Ma Wenhui?" Ma Wenhui glanced up at the nearly hundred subordinates writhing on the ground outside the manager's office door. His eyes, holding a mixture of alarm and anticipation, fixed on Lin Feng and Zhou Yang as he continued with a laugh, "Everyone knows I, Ma Wenhui, value talent! Surely, you two aren't foolish enough to think you can take on my bullets!"
