Super Spender-Chapter 612 - 606 Huge Discrepancy
Chapter 612: Chapter 606 Huge Discrepancy
As soon as Finn Lewis said this, Jasmine Davis and Dunn Monty were stunned. After a moment, Jasmine Davis suddenly laughed and said, “If you’re into me, handsome, I might consider it.”
“Give me an account.” Finn Lewis glanced at her and calmly requested.
Jasmine Davis hesitated before giving an account number. Finn Lewis nodded, snapping his fingers, letting the AI handle the rest. Although he only had a million star credits in his hand, but money is a thing, you spend it, you get it. Of course, your money has to be spent where it’s needed.
“Ding dong,” just after Finn Lewis snapped his fingers, a crisp sound rang out, and Peach’s voice echoed in the room: “Captain, our account has received a transfer of 500,000 star credits.”
Jasmine Davis was stunned. As soon as she gave her account, she guessed that Finn Lewis might give her money, but she did not expect him to give it without a second thought. Who is this generous? Could it be that he wasn’t afraid that she might accept the money and not keep her end of the bargain?
You’re not afraid of me not holding up my end of the bargain?” Jasmine Davis asked in disbelief, she could not quite figure Finn Lewis out, she had been informed before meeting him that he had never left Earth. But his reaction was too… blase? He certainly didn’t act like someone who had never left Earth.
If Finn Lewis knew what Jasmine Davis was thinking, he would really want to say, I haven’t left earth, but I’ve left this time and space, leaving earth is nothing.
“It’s only 500,000.” Finn Lewis shrugged nonchalantly.
“…” Jasmine Davis.
Dunn Monty, who was standing on the side, was also speechless. The gap between people can truly be vast.
“I hope you’re not so short-sighted, satisfied with just making 500,000 off me. I have another 5 million, or even 50 million, that I want you to make.” Finn Lewis said, grinning. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
Jasmine Davis rolled her eyes and retorted, “Your act, I wouldn’t be able to learn it even if I got drunk.”
“Haha, whether I’m putting on an act or not, you’ll find out soon enough, won’t you? Isn’t your 500,000 already in your account?” Finn Lewis laughed, then pointed at Jasmine Davis and said.
“Alright, as you’re so generous, I owe you some information at least. It won’t be easy for you to get into the Galactic Federation Star District, because you’re now listed in the Silver Arrest Warrant. Unless you can contact the Galactic Federation, you probably won’t be able to set foot in the region of Capital Star. I don’t believe they would go to the trouble of determining the life gene code of a captured offender to verify if he was reborn from the royal family.” Jasmine Davis stood up and said, laughing happily.
As she spoke, she walked out of the room. Just as she reached the door, she stopped and said, “We’ll arrange to get you a spaceship soon and take you to the nearby area. But before you go there, I’d encourage you to find a way to contact the Galactic Federation. If your two comrades can’t solve the problem, you can come and find me and I’ll give you a discount.”
After saying that, Jasmine Davis left. When the room door was closed, Dunn Monty who was left behind said a bit awkwardly, “Your Highness, I’m sorry.”
“It’s nothing to be sorry about, it has nothing to do with you. Besides, it’s only 500,000, it’s not a big deal to me.” Finn Lewis dismissed it with a wave of his hand.
Dunn Monty was speechless at Finn Lewis’s cavalier attitude. He should have known how significant the Star Credits were, since Dunn Monty had already introduced them. But he had just handed out 500,000 Star Credits so recklessly? That was the equivalent of an entire cosmic cruiser.
This could be a brand-new battleship capable of wiping out all the opposition on Earth, but Finn Lewis just casually threw it away. Although Dunn Monty didn’t know how many Star Credits Finn had, he guessed they weren’t obtained through the Galactic Federation.
They could only have been leftover in an account, or from some other source, because if he could have gotten into contact with the Galactic Federation and obtained so many credits, Finn wouldn’t have needed to rely solely on them, he would have had a spaceship coming to pick him up a long time ago. Dunn Monty might be a bit rough around the edges, but his judgement was accurate.
But if that was the case, was it really alright for him to be so wasteful? Did he realize how valuable the Star Credits were? He surely wasn’t treating them like regular old Federal coins?
“I’ll take my leave now.” Dunn Monty thought, concluding that these were not his concerns. He wouldn’t be able to sway Finn Lewis’s decisions anyway. Having done what he came to do, he didn’t see any need in staying.
“Yes, alright.” Finn Lewis nodded.
After Dunn Monty left, Finn Lewis didn’t rest. He walked over to a side with a view of the outside through the window. The window itself was made up of something similar to a glass shield, allowing him a clear view outside into the cosmos. With the main control system of the ship doing a countdown, and in front of the ship, he saw a dazzling golden light mixed with a rainbow flare. As the flare flickered, a peculiar force field began to unfold, as if a fluctuating mirror had been opened in space.
When the spaceship approached the mirror-like ripple in the force field, it shrunk down to the size of a tiny dot, before disappearing. A decidedly peculiar sight the spaceship traveled on, its surroundings constantly changing. When it was finally Finn Lewis’s turn to enter the force field, he could feel a strange tear at the edge of his consciousness. Finn Lewis could see his body was still standing firmly on the ground, but his mind felt as if he was in a state of weightlessness and turbulence.
This strange sensation made Finn Lewis feel nauseous. This was probably the discomfort Dunn Monty mentioned would come with traveling through the Warp Wormhole. But this discomfort soon completely vanished. Outside the view was filled with colorful light, it quickly faded and all he could see was a vast asteroid belt. Three stars shone in the distance, illuminating the extensive asteroid belt that they were currently in the middle of.
