Chapter 1300: Chapter 138: Fulfillment of All Wishes (3)

"Ah, I really can’t stand that country bumpkin." Gongsun Ce said expressionlessly, "She’s followed us all this way just to lodge a complaint against me."

"Ce, she’s concerned about me."

"What’s it got to do with me? I can’t stand her. I’ve been displeased with your old attendant since four years ago and still am!"

Their voices echoed in the hollow mountain, their figures resembling two drops of differently colored water flowing over the countless smooth surfaces of the Colored glaze Mountain range. Gongsun Ce stormed ahead, waving his fists as he spoke, while Alandia followed half a pace behind, unable to suppress a smile at the attendant’s demeanor. Those old friends seemed to momentarily bring Gongsun Ce back to his youth, with a deliberate exaggeration in his words and actions that led to occasional disputes.

"Look, you’re laughing again. Is it really that funny?" Gongsun Ce grumbled.

Alandia found herself somewhat nostalgic for this style, perhaps because back then, they lived with relative ease. She recalled the practical little tricks taught by Qiluo and decided to try one. She moved ahead of Gongsun Ce and turned to embrace him, gently stroking his gray hair.

"Ce, sometimes you’re quite childish." Alandia said.

Gongsun Ce blushed slightly, muttering: "I am actually quite a bit younger than you..."

He struggled free from the embrace, grabbing Alandia’s hand in a huff and leading her forward. After a couple of steps, even Gongsun Ce felt foolish and laughed along with the Knight.

"What to do, I always seem like an idiot in front of you."

"I hope you can remain calm when handling important matters." Alandia said, "We are venturing deeper into the mountains, keep a close watch on our surroundings."

Gongsun Ce nodded, he dared not use Telekinesis, but he still possessed his keen insight honed over time. The mountain path they traveled climbed upwards, leading them toward the summit. A faint tremor extended along the route, hinting at the grand scale of whatever business Big Brother and Orianna were conducting at the mountaintop.

As they progressed, the surrounding crystals grew increasingly profound, with shadows moving within the semi-transparent crystal as if stones and insects were frozen in amber. Alandia handed him a magnifying glass, allowing him to clearly comprehend the true form of those shadows within the mountain’s crystalline walls. They were individuals living within the crystals, and the Colored glaze crystals created a space for them beyond common sense — a place sufficient for a single person’s stance yet capable of evolving into a world accommodating a myriad of wonders.

There were peaceful villages, where elderly women greeted neighbors cordially; perilous forests, where strong men continued their explorations; and scenery akin to a gaming world, where children dressed ostentatiously wielded swords on adventures, meeting kindhearted friends and encountering fair and gentle women... 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Gongsun Ce focused his attention on the child’s adventure, and Alandia’s magnifying glass allowed him to understand the mechanism of this "small world" clearly: Initially, during his adventure, there was only a small village in this world. The powers of the Kong Hua Realm generated a dozen villagers indistinguishable from ordinary people, along with everything an RPG enthusiast could imagine — healing potions, treasure chests, fishing rods, the finest sword in the village, and the "hidden map" accessible from the mountain behind. After the boy completed his exploration of the small village, his interest in the game was not yet exhausted, leading the "small world" to rapidly generate content beyond the village, constructing new maps like a live game event.

Upon stepping out of the village, he saw distant cities and opportunity-laden forests. A series of characters, items, and monsters that met all his needs populated this newly expanded map, enabling him to enjoy a lengthy adventure...

"What do you think?" Alandia asked.

"It’s just like a dream." Gongsun Ce said, "He gets whatever he desires. He’s only halfway through the forest, and he’s already met his third stunning elven swordswoman passionately falling for him... But what if he grows bored? What if he decides he doesn’t want to play the game anymore?"

"We will find out soon enough." Alandia assured him.

Human thoughts are ever-changing, and even the finest games face a day where boredom sets in. The events that followed soon validated Gongsun Ce’s hypothesis. While embracing the fifth elven archer in sleep, the boy spoke of the grandmother who raised him. The novelty of traversing a fresh world swiftly faded, and now he longed for familial warmth.

Gongsun Ce initially suspected the Kong Hua Realm would fabricate a "grandmother" for him, yet the world’s mechanism exceeded his expectations. The boy’s adventure world paused its evolution when this thought emerged, the structure of the Colored glaze Mountain quietly transformed, causing his "small world" to shift positions and link up with the elderly’s prior life village. After exiting the forest, the boy was reunited with his grandmother, a new worldview stitched their "worlds" together, enabling them to share experiences and live together in this beautiful world.

Gongsun Ce moved the magnifying glass away, struggling to speak: "...I find it hard to nitpick anything."

"It seems perfect." Dawn Knight agreed.

Compared to the Spirit Prison Realm, where one must abandon their physical body and halt life’s progress, the Kong Hua Realm represents a comprehensive upgrade in its construction. Here, residents are not compelled to forsake material pleasures, they can still communicate with each other, and the omnipotent crystals can satisfy every need. They lack the sense of "getting something for nothing," as the boy’s stylish equipment was obtained after defeating monsters, various female elves were met after heroic rescues, and the God behind the Kong Hua Realm fulfilled wishes in ingeniously subtle ways. Rare mutually beneficial situations can be called "good luck," while all other gains seem to be rewarding fruits after a concerted effort. Most importantly, all these gains are "real" — tangible and visible, capable of being taken out of the mountains, even the world’s artificial life being indistinguishable from original life.
