The corner of Yuan Qi’s mouth twitched, but he glanced at her and nodded in agreement.

After the beastmen carried the last two Half-beastman Warriors inside, Yuan Qi ordered a tribesman to go pick some fruit. He then took a tender piece of fresh meat and tossed it onto the fire.

Yuan Qi’s expression was conflicted as he watched the meat slowly char and blacken in the flames.

’Why not just eat the tender meat raw?’

’Why insist on roasting it until it’s all black and dry? What a strange quirk the young female has.’

’Could it possibly taste better this way?’

With this thought, he grabbed a nearby stick and poked the blackened piece of meat out of the fire.
