Chapter 260: Chapter 65: The Official Start of the War with the Elves and Dwarves

Dark clouds loomed over the city, a tense standoff ensuing.

The Royal Palace was eerily silent, all eyes fixed on the Elf Princess who had been silent for a long time.

"Heh, heh," the Elf Princess laughed coldly, "You brought this upon yourself, King Saral."

"I’m so looking forward to this!" William said with a nonchalant expression, which seemed to ignite a fire behind the princess.

Wait, Hill straightened his neck—was she actually burning?

Blue Divine Fire rapidly ignited.

Was this really a deity from the Elves who had descended directly?

Hill felt his brain struggling to keep up—could it be the Goddess of the Hunt who had reincarnated directly?

Did William already know about this?

How had the Elves moved from courting William to colluding with him?

The eight petals spun rapidly, trying to transport the person standing above to the exterior of the Royal Palace.

"Thinking of leaving? Too late!" Along with the fleeting voice of a woman, there was a flash of lightning and roar of thunder above the palace.

Hill saw that indeed, those two petals tossed out of the Royal Palace were those two on the Sky Terraces, where other nations’ messengers stood.

The River of Time and Space also began to shimmer, the starry sky trembling.

"No matter how strong the God of Time and Space is, how many can he fight?" a proud female voice echoed through the sky, "Fall together with your Divine Kingdom, along with your lackeys!"

A soft sigh sounded, "Those who boast victory before it’s achieved are usually the villains!"

"Damn it!" Chaos erupted among the Elves.

With William’s words, several terrifying space vortexes descended.

He attacked those Legendary Elves trying to leap out for a kill.

Hill felt a surge of magical fluctuations sweeping toward the platform where he stood—William was using Spatial Magic.

William, who had always utilized knight skills, was actually a Demigod!

In his case, Spatial Laws were merely a thought away.

It’s just that he didn’t like to use it, causing many to forget this fact.

"Thinking of running? Dream on!" The Legendary Elves on the other side suddenly also shimmered with blue Divine Fire.

Both reincarnated Goddesses were present.

Hill only felt dizzy as William’s spatial transfer was interrupted.

He clenched the rope tightly, his hand also gripping Adrian.

The clash of different Divine Powers resulted in elemental turbulence and Mana chaos, leaving them completely unable to resist—unable to manipulate even a sliver of the Element.

Hill was somewhat relieved on his end, knowing his spot wasn’t the focus of the attack.

But at Fran’s location, she was already swept up in unending lightning strikes.

When gods battle, the first thing they do, apparently, is to restrict their opponents’ Legends.

Hill anxiously watched Fran’s platform; William seemed to have thrown their petals in a direction that was relatively far away.

Although he had prepared for the Elves to take action, Hill truly didn’t expect such a fierce, relentless strike.

The platform where Hill stood slowly descended to the ground. Hill looked at the approaching Undead, dragging Adrian and asking Snow Cloud Peak, "Where is safer?"

"The priests are behind that column on the left," Snow Cloud Peak quickly replied.

Compared to the severely affected Local Mages, the Undead seemed relatively unaffected.

Their method of casting spells relied on the Divine Power of the God of Time and Space.

William’s widespread space vortexes actually made it easier for them to deploy skills.

Although those two Elf Goddesses were also scattering burning Divine Fire, as long as they avoided these flames, they could cast spells freely.

On the other hand, Adrian and his group, without the ability to communicate directly with the Laws like the Legends, depended on the elements in the air, and their power was nearly halved.

Hill was a Magician, and could use skills, but once the Mana in his body was expended, he’d be useless—he wasn’t that bold.

William was still fighting fiercely.

It seemed effortless.

Space vortexes and Space Blades scattered everywhere, occasional bursts of thunder and lightning frightened Hill, who carefully navigated his way to escape.

Hill glanced at the Female Sorceress following closely behind him and nodded to her, "Follow me."

They took a large detour before arriving at the safe spot.

Behind the column, thousands of priests had already settled in, and more kept joining.

The King’s Hall in William’s palace had plenty of space for hiding people!

But the fact that Snow Cloud Peak only mentioned this place as safe meant, were there more than these Legendary Elves coming?

The sound of thunder continued, Hill looked up; William, fighting two against one, seemed to still be handling it.

The Legendary Elves had struggled out of the spatial vortexes, but their charging steps were blocked by the prepared Undead.

As the three terrestrial deities fought, the palace’s Defensive Shield was completely shattered.

The Undead Priests continuously casting healing spells muttered low curses, stealing glances at tablets.

There weren’t many of the Undead here as William had left most of them outside.

In Clotho City outside the palace, the Undead virtually filled every street, tasked with blocking all attacks on the civilians.

Hill discerned from their muttering that a large number of Dwarves and Elves had charged into Clotho as well, targeting William’s King’s Guard and the Capital Guard Army.

"Uncle Adrian, Magic Tower?" Hill asked softly.

"No worries, I’ve given Boen access rights," Adrian whispered in return, "He can request the Tower Spirit to initiate maximum defense."

While the Undead in the palace were few in number, there were still tens of thousands—among them, the most elite forces.

A dozen Legends, even if stronger than human Legends, had not reached the level of Demigod. And they were no novices having just entered the Sky Knight phase.
