A sharp, piercing sound nearly tore through the sky; the lead car in the convoy, a Land Rover, almost collided with Song Dabai.

"Daddy, why did you come to rescue me only now? If you didn’t come, I would’ve been sold off by that bad uncle, boohoohoo..."
