Tale of the Red Dragon Without Dragon's Might-Chapter 450 - 442 Titan
Chapter 450: Chapter 442 Titan
The Storm God’s Descendant is absent, but there’s still a bit of the Flame Divine Successor left. Let’s make do with that. The World-devouring Slime only appears in legends, and no one has seen it in reality. It’s better for everyone to give up trying to extract casting materials from it... To help Tassera gather casting materials, even Leon, going at it personally, spent several months.
When Tassera prepared the Tassela Ascension Technique, Leon was definitely going to watch. He saw the Blue Dragon set up a gigantic array large enough to contain her true form... The casting itself lasted half a day, and nothing seemed to happen in the end.
"Is it done?"
Cecilia loved to join in the fun, and she was certainly among the spectators at this moment, poking her head around.
"It’s over." Tassera gasped for air, breathing heavily, looking worn out as if she’d just been through a vicious battle. Even though the Tassela Ascension Technique, adapted from the 12-ring Karsas Divine Ascension Technique, had been greatly reduced, it was still at least ten rings level, depleting nearly all of her energy.
"But you seem like... you haven’t changed at all." Cecilia circled around Tassera, scrutinizing her. The Blue Dragon originally had a super giant build, and she was still super giant, with no changes in scale color or texture... Why did it seem like her neck got shorter? Hahaha.
"Are you considered a Demigod now?" Salovis unabashedly raised a paw, poking Tassera’s shoulder with no sense of boundary.
"No." Tassera shook her head. "To be precise, I should now be called... a Titan."
In the Multi-universe, holy entities are typically categorized by their power levels across the cosmos. Some gods are worshipped in multiple worlds and possess varying degrees of divine stature depending on their influence in each world.
Gods of great power exceed mortal comprehension, whereas lesser gods manifest in certain realms. Following these are Quasi-gods, endowed with a holy origin but do not heed or respond to prayers. Demigods are mortal beings born from the union of gods and humans, possessing some divine qualities...
Titans could be born from the union of two gods, or forged in a sacred Melting Furnace, born from the blood of a deity, or even from certain divine wills or substances. Compared to gods who have almost lost all worshippers and are nearing mortal death—Contracted Spirits are a bit better.
Astral Giant Ship Beasts, Krakens, Tarrasque, and the Giant God’s Descendant are all considered Titans.
"A Titan’s interesting enough." Salovis highlighted its lack of urgency, nonetheless, a Titan is at least a sacred entity. Even if it’s not a civil servant, it has the status equivalent to a career staffer, preventing reproductive isolation from civil servants. "Can you teach me that Ascension Technique?"
"It’s not that I’m unwilling to teach you; you simply can’t learn it." Tassera stated decisively.
Salovis’ scarlet pupils greedily fixed on the Karsus Crown atop Tassera’s head, saying, "Give me that crown on your head, and I can do it too... That’s my brother’s treasure, not yours. You only have usage rights, not ownership rights."
"You don’t have to learn it yourself. Just give me the casting materials, and I can help you." Tassera smirked. "I’m the Blue Dragon; I can use Kraken’s blood and heart as casting materials. You’re the Red Dragon, you can search for Dawn Titan Megra, excavate that super giant elemental core, then supplement it with the Flame Divine Successor’s..."
Tassera looked at Leon.
Leon lifted his forelimb and unceremoniously slapped his silly sister on the head, saying, "What daylight dreaming are you doing?"
"I just glanced at you, didn’t even ask for your help." Tassera muttered, clutching her head, then turned once more to Tassera, "After becoming a Titan... has your size changed, and has your strength and Breath Weapon changed?"
The spells are temporarily unusable, which doesn’t affect the sharp teeth and claws. Tassera waved her paw at the air, then slammed her tail heavily on the ground, saying, "The strength has increased."
Salovis, observing the large pit created by the Blue Dragon’s tail swipe, remarked, "Seems quite evident."
"I’ll try the Breath Weapon." Tassera said, spreading her wings to leap into the sky, her scales shimmering with a gemstone hue under the sunlight, and sprayed towards the distant sea... She didn’t spray Lightning Breath but a liquid-like plasma.
Tassera flew out of the Volcanic Island, reaching the sky far from the Volcanic Island. She hovered in the sky, followed by countless lightning the thickness of barrels striking the sea, raising water sprays several meters high; the entire sea was shrouded in blinding blue light.
It was an enormous area Lightning Storm.
Those watching Tassera’s spectacle were rendered dumbstruck.
Cecilia and Fiora exchanged worried glances. They were lagging far behind the Blue Dragon.
Once everyone left, Tassera instantly hooked Leon with her claw, unable to restrain her eagerness.
"Are you that impatient? It’s not urgent, isn’t it?" Leon said helplessly. "You’ve just gained the Titan’s physique, shouldn’t you nurture your body a bit first? I once slept for several years."
"Alright, you’ve made your point, I was inconsiderate." Tassera conceded reasonably.
Since ascending to Titan, Tassera’s appetite noticeably increased, but unlike Leon, she didn’t slumber; however, her growth was rapidly visible. But wishing to grow into a giant will require some time to accumulate slowly. Before reaching maturity, surely she can grow into a giant, maybe even super giant.
Tassera rested for a month, seeking Leon again.
Her physical state had significantly improved, allowing her to spar with Leon for an entire day.
Then on a bright morning.
"I feel like it’s happening." Tassera said.
"So soon?" Leon said. "You can feel it?"
"It’s my body, so of course I can." Tassera responded matter-of-factly.
The fact that Tassera was pregnant intensely spurred Cecilia and Fiora.
After Tassera got pregnant, apart from eating meat, consuming Magic Items was something Leon hadn’t anticipated.
"Stop eating random things." Leon’s mood was indescribable.
"I don’t know why, but I just want to eat. Wanting to eat must be right." Tassera said indifferently. "Don’t worry, I know better... It’s not like it’s poison, just some Magic Items. A dragon’s stomach can digest anything."
Tassera’s Treasure Vault was incredibly rich, yet couldn’t withstand her treating scrolls as wraps, Magic Wands like finger biscuits, quickly emptying the entire vault. But not eating was uncomfortable, leaving Leon no choice but to open his Treasure Vault, for that Blue Dragon was bearing his offspring.
Under normal circumstances, a dragon can lay a clutch of Dragon Eggs annually, with each clutch ranging from two to five. Blue Dragons typically gestate Dragon Eggs over five months, followed by a year of incubation. But with Tassera, it seems this pregnancy will stretch towards three years without laying any Dragon Eggs yet.
