Taming the Beast World with a Frying Pan-Chapter 123: Both Beast and Beastman
"You need to mate."
The words didn’t just hang in the air; they ricocheted around Ren’s drug-addled brain like a pinball, triggering a very specific, very annoying memory.
She didn’t need the System to say it. She could already hear its sassy, robotic voice pre-loading the "I Told You So" speech.
[System Notification: Cough. Excuse me, Host. Did I or did I not tell you back in the swamp that the cure was Vitamin D? Specifically, the D belonging to the Tiger King? But no, you wanted to climb trees and drink glowing soup.]
Ren gritted her teeth, trying to ignore the heat pulsing through her veins.
’Shut up,’ she thought furiously. ’I refuse to believe I risked my life, betrayed my husband, and flashed a fox just to do something I could have done comfortably on a rug a long time ago.’
She tried to convince herself that the glowing blue root juice was the real MVP here. The sex was just... the delivery method. Yes. That was it. It was a complex medical procedure that just happened to involve nudity.
"You need to satisfy both the wild, insatiable nature of the beast and the lust of the beastman," Vex added.
He looked at her intensely.
"Pleasure is the common ground," he explained. "It is the bridge. You must force them to return to being one by overwhelming them both with sensation."
Ren heard him, but her brain latched onto three specific words: Wild. Insatiable. Nature.
Ren looked down at herself. She was human. Soft, squishy, breakable human.
She looked at Kael. He was a tank.
’How am I supposed to satisfy an "insatiable beast" without being split in half?’ she panicked. ’On our first night, he was gentle. He was lucid. He barely used more than half his length, and I was still seeing stars. If he wakes up in feral mode...’
She glanced at the bulge in his loincloth. It looked like he was smuggling a log of salami.
Ren gulped.
’He is going to rearrange my internal organs. I’m going to need surgery. I’m going to walk funny until I’m eighty.’
[System Interjection: Oh, don’t be such a baby! You have the <Tiger’s Endurance> Stamina Buff! You can survive multiple rounds. You are practically a Honda Civic—built to last!]
’That buff is a scam!’ Ren argued back mentally, her face flushing hotter. ’It was useless with Syris! I passed out after round three in the garden! That snake almost put me in a coma! Besides, stamina isn’t my concern. It’s the structural integrity of my frail, human body against an Alpha in heat!’
Ren was so lost in her debate that she didn’t notice the blue screen turning a menacing shade of red.
[WARNING: Target Health has dropped to 2%.] [System Comment: Ooh! It’s the final countdown! Drama! Tension! impending Doom! Let’s get it on!]
The System sounded way too excited about the prospect of Kael dying or Ren being ravaged. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Ren snapped out of her daze just as Vex moved.
With the clinical efficiency of a doctor preparing a patient for surgery, Vex reached out and untied the leather cord at Kael’s waist. He pulled the loincloth away.
Ren’s breath hitched.
The fabric fell away, exposing him completely.
He was... leaking. A clear, slick fluid was already beading at the tip of his massive erection, which bobbed once in the cool air as it was freed. It was thick, angry, and throbbing with a heartbeat of its own.
Vex was careful not to touch him, stepping back quickly.
Ren, meanwhile, was fighting a losing battle. The aphrodisiac was making her skin crawl with need. She squirmed, her inner thighs slick and trembling, her eyes glued to the sight of the tiger’s arousal despite her fear.
"What..." Ren’s voice came out as a squeak. She cleared her throat. "What do I do? Do I... do I go over there and mount him while he’s unconscious? Like... CPR but... lower?"
Vex walked over to her, shaking his head.
"No," he said firmly. "That won’t work. Kael has to approach you."
He grabbed her shoulders and guided her to the edge of the fur bed, sitting her down just out of Kael’s reach.
"He won’t move until he and the beast are on common ground," Vex instructed, his voice tight. "Right now, the beast is confused. The man is dormant. They both must want to mate. They must share the intent."
Ren sat there, her thighs clenched tight together to stem the ache. She was squirming terribly, the friction of the leopard dress against her sensitized skin driving her insane.
"Hnnng," she whimpered softly.
On the bed, Kael shifted. A low, rumbling growl started deep in his chest. His eyelids fluttered.
Vex stiffened. He looked from the waking tiger to the flushed, panting female.
"I have to go," Vex said abruptly, backing away toward the cave entrance.
His own breathing was becoming ragged. The scent of Ren’s heat, amplified by the root juice, was filling the cave. It was a siren song to any male with a pulse, and Vex was struggling to keep his own fox instincts in check. If he stayed, Kael would sense a rival male, and the room would turn into a bloodbath instead of a mating ground.
"Wait!" Ren panicked, looking between the retreating fox and the waking giant. "What am I supposed to do? Just sit here until he attacks me?"
Vex paused at the threshold of the vines. He looked back at her, his eyes dark and dilated.
"Stop hiding your scent," he commanded, his voice rough. "Open your legs."
Ren’s jaw dropped.
"Touch yourself," Vex advised, his gaze dropping to her hands. "Let him see you. Let him smell you. Put on a show. Do anything to get both the beast and the beastman aroused enough to cross that line."
Ren’s face turned a color that defied the visible spectrum.
"I—"
"Good luck, Little Rose."
With a swirl of his tails, Vex vanished into the overgrowth, leaving her alone in the purple-lit cave.
Ren sat frozen for a heartbeat, the silence deafening except for the sound of harsh rasping.
Slowly, terrifyingly, she turned her head.
Kael was no longer lying down.
He was sitting upright. His massive shoulders were hunched forward, his head hung low, white hair obscuring his eyes. His chest heaved with heavy, labored breaths that sounded like a bellows fanning a fire.
Then, he slowly lifted his head.
