Now having a piece to start with she went finished her food paid and then walking in the shadows she searched for more and truly tounges loosened by alcohol people talked.

At the beginning, she had her doubts, but in the end, she packed her things. She knew it was not a wise decision and was wrong in more than one way. Sending her plans to hell, but Spirit Hall would send a Douluo to this battle, no doubt, and this was her teacher's and her friends family. The only father figure was her bro, and she had, more of a father than their actual father. Admittingly that was not a feat though. A second thoght filtered through her mind as well.

Blue lightning tyrant dragon has douluos, and are fighting other douluo. If I sneak in between and make my way my kill would be easier, and less deadly....

Knowing there was an attack and not helping? No, she couldn’t do that. Her plan to sneak her kill was the best idea she had so far. Did she like the bad taste either thing left in her mouth, no, she did not.

The flight was brutal. She got caught in a storm ended up delayed a day, and when Blue Lightning Tyrant dragon came in sight, she was tired to the bones, her back hurt, and her wings ached.

She had seen no troops on the way, and almost cursed herself for being wrong and being stupid, close to turning until she lowered a bit and, from beyond the clouds, saw a smattering of a what seemed to be a large camp.

Turning towards it, she took out her spying glass and inspected the smatter. A cold shiver ran down her spine when she saw the emblem of spirit hall.

"So it was true." She muttered. As high up as she was, it was unlikely they spotted her now. If she wanted to inspect further, she would need to go lower, risking discovery. Spirit Hall had a high number of spirit masters capable of flight, but unlike them, she could go to any height as long as she guarded herself from the cold.

Worth a shot.

If they discovered her, she would simply go as high as she could, but she needed to be dressed warmer for that.

She switched to the warmest coat she had. A deep blue coat made of spirit beast wool and lined with silk on the inside. Like all her winter coats, it accommodated her wings effortlessly, thanks to Yu Huas' skill. It was a long coat that went down to her ankles and a bit too luxurious-looking for a scouting outfit, but better warm than freeze up there. She adjusted her flying Googles and released her hair from

her tie.

Funny enough, long hair was not bad in cold regions. She wrapped a long silk shawl around her head, covering her face with it like a mask, and tucked her prosthesis away into her storage. She was not here to fight. This was a take-a-look-and-run.

The prosthetic was relatively heavy, so having less weight would help her, especially when the air got thin and it was cold and she needed to be fast.

Folding her wings, she flew down. Scouting out the camp. Counting tents and filed away the numbers. It was going quite well until she was whacked sidewise by a heavy burst of energy and did a few air flips before stabilising herself, glancing backwards and gritting her teeth.

It was over, they found her. Beating her wings, she sped up and headed straight upwards.

Her pursuer closed in and fired another attack her way, which she narrowly avoided using [Sight] ability to predict them ahead. Then she headed towards high ground.

"You think you can escape rat. At some point, you cannot go higher!" It hissed loudly from behind, and she glanced down with purple demon eye, seeing that her pursuer was starting to falter now that they were above the clouds. She was able to continue, toasty warm, in her coat.

Her wyvern wings were stronger than spirit master wings. She could go as high as she wanted as long as there was air to breathe and she didn't freeze to death. Eventually, she heard curses behind her.

The air got thinner, and clouds formed in front of her formed by her breath as she eventually stopped. Twisting and looking downwards, she had to circulate her spirit power to keep her breathing stable and grinned behind her shawl.

Well, try catching her now.

The spirit master below her could not go higher; it was clear. He stared at her, snorted and then turned and headed away when her sight warned her. She was not out of trouble. Hastily, she turned left, folded her wings, and was thrown once again sideways through the sky parts of her coat ripping. Turning, she used her purple demon eye and spotted another pursuer, a lot higher level.

She gritted her teeth and headed even higher then she was. Her wings would not give out on her; spirit power, she had quite a bit left.

All she felt was chillingly cold down to her bones despite being well wrapped up. She beat her wings faster. Avoiding more strikes, using all her catch lessons airborne with Jiang, every single trick in the repertoire.

She needed another way. The guy was persistent.

Startle him.

A second is enough, and then folded her wings, the air thundering against her. A familiar voice in her head advised. Use the forest as cover.

She summoned her throwing knives, twisted and turned, picking up a bumblebee-like light flight style. Tumbling through the sky as she barreled towards thr ground at frightening speed. Oozing spirit power, as she focused them inside the needle balls covered in poison she was holding onto.

Then she turned and threw them, poisonous gas erupting and needles piercing, the greenish mist wafting towards her pursuer. Clouding him in as he harrumphed, and a black spirit ring appeared around him Yin meanwhile beat her wings to be even faster.

Then she covered herself in spirit power.

Appear bigger, more, someone he does not want to challenge, someone entirely too fast to catch. She had a crimson light flash around her as she vanished into the greenery. Her wings tucked close, unfolding whenever necessary as she left behind no sign cloaking herself completely silent. The grass almost touching her as low as she was flying, cutting the narrow angles.

The pressure behind her vanished eventually, and a board lake appeared in front of her.

At its borders, the looming and large structures of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon. She breathed hard as she took in the large waterscape in front of her. Spreading her wings, she kept at the edge, staying beneath the forest lines. So that was why they stopped the pursuit; this was clan territory. Approaching the giant structure. She noted noise. People hurrying, fires burning smoke filling the air.

They were preparing for a fight.

She noted a presence behind her, but didn’t turn, merely cast a hooded look back and smiled as she raised her hands.

"Impressive flight", he said, and she tilted her head.

"Thank you." She said, smiling behind her shawl.

"Now who are you?" The voice asked, and she turned, looking into the moderately handsome face of a man in his early twenties. Of course,

topless. What was it about people being associated with dragons always being topless and ripped? Well, window shopping at least was an option.

"I am a friendly neighbourhood spirit master," she said, smiling. "You are aware you have a small army of spirit hall people on your front porch? Interested in knowing a camp layout and how many there are?” She wiggled her fingers and flapped her wings to appear harmless.
