The Alpha King And His Omega-Chapter 107

Tristan paused as their eyes met as if time had stopped.

It was like a surreal dream and he didn’t know how to react until he pulled him closer into his embrace.

The familiar scent sent him back to reality and he hugged him back. Tears cloud his eyes as he inhaled his scent and clung to him like he was the last solid entity to ever exist.

He pulled back and stared at him with sad eyes. The Alpha face was gaunt and looked tired. But the spark within his eyes made Tristan smile a little.

"What happened?" He asked and looked down at his ragged skin and cuts.

"Why are you here?" Alpha Mitch asked in a hoarse voice. He was still in a daze because of how he had managed to make it here when he was just a second late. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

But the soft body in his embrace was slowly reeling him back like leading a dog on with its leash.

He frowned a little when he did not respond and only looked at him as if imprinting his face in his mind.

"You should have stayed with Raul". He corrected but frowned as the words left his mouth.

The person he was talking about was lying unconscious still battling for his life.

What would have happened to him if he had stayed with Raul?.

He thought and hugged him tighter.

"I won’t stay anywhere else from now on." Tristan said after a while.

Alpha Mitch pulled back to stare at him.

He also doesn’t want to stay away from him.

The few days apart felt like hell and his mind has always been with him despite everything he was going through.

"No matter what happens, I’m going to stick to you like this. Okay?" Tristan continued in a firmer voice.

This was the first time he was talking to him without shying away.

"Alright, let’s do that. But you have to release your hold me first". Alpha Mitch replied and groaned lowly in pain.

Tristan gasped and moved back, he looked down at a few bandages on his body and traced his fingers on them as if trying to heal them. And looked blankly at his body

"Why did you get hurt?

I heard that you were taken away by some people and I tried to come to you". He said softly after a while, his voice barely above a whisper. He felt abashed to say the last part of the statement aloud because of absurdity.

What could he possibly do for him?

"Why didn’t you come then?" Alpha Mitch asked and Tristan’s face looked up at him in a stunned silence.

"I... he stammered but could not complete the statement.

He would have to admit that he had spent days thinking he hated him but that might make him sad and ruin their reunion.

"They didn’t hurt you right?" Alpha Mitch asked after he realised he was hesitating to talk.

He remembered the video he saw of him and the heart men. He had lost his temper then and got blinded by anger but Alpha Raul had prevented him from acting irrational.

Now, he is careful not to ask insensitive questions. He has a plan, he would return to pack and get even with those that committed the atrocities.

He would declare and wipe all of them out if he had to.

But not now, for now he will only enjoy this moment.

"They didn’t". Tristan replied but he was breaking down inside.

It had been like a reoccurring nightmare. The men, the smell of the room, the heat and the disgusting sight as they forced him to watch.

He had felt disgusted after that and wished he could end the men but there was nothing he could do except to obey them and each of the room.

He shook his head in a bid to shake away all the memories but it was still as fresh as ever.

Pulling away for a bit, he kissed him on his lips and the Alpha was surprised and held him firmly as he leaned on him.

Someone cleared their throat and they turned around to see the nurse with a look of disbelief on her face.

"I think it is quite early for this". She said and looked away from them as she looked on the chart she held.

Tristan was embarrassed by her presence and he hid his face away in embarrassment.

"Can you please excuse us?" She asked him and the Alpha frowned while Tristan looked at her like he didn’t hear what she said.

"I will stay". Tristan said stubbornly and moved out of his arms to sit beside him on the bed.

The nurse’s face darkened but she went quiet when she noticed the way the Alpha was staring at him.

She did all she had to and left with her tail between her laps.

"Why didn’t you leave like she asked you?" Alpha Mitch asked once they were alone.

"You also want me to leave?" Tristan was taken aback and looked at him in horror.

"No, I didn’t but it’s unlike you to plainly refuse her". He replied and Tristan smiled bashfully.

"I am serious, nothing is going to keep me away from you". He said and suddenly remembered something.

"I need to check on something". He said and hurried to stand as he remembered he had left Trevor waiting outside.

"Tell him to come in here". Alpha Mitch said before he could leave the room.

Tristan was at a loss for words and stood frozen while staring at him.

"You don’t want to?" The Alpha taunted him and Tristan left to fetch Trevor.

Once alone his face distorted in pain and his expression darkened visibly.

He needed to get back to the pack as soon as possible because there was a possibility that their enemy would get prepared before their return.

"He is gone". Tristan returned a while later to announce with a look of confusion on his face.

After Trevor left, Tristan felt a little bad but soon got over it as the Alpha announced their return to the pack house a few hours later.

They got on the road and he drove slowly. Tristan fell asleep and only woke up when they were just a short distance from the familiar gigantic building.

Alpha Mitch frowned by the crowd gathered at the front of the pack house and he parked his car.

Everyone turned in his direction and they acted like they had seen a ghost and some remained frozen until he passed beside them into the pack house with Tristan in his arms.

"Mitch?!" Mariah screamed on top of her voice and rushed to embrace him but was surprised he had Tristan in his arms.

"Is he hurt?" She asked but Tristan opened his eyes immediately and everyone around sighed in relief but their relief was soon replaced by worry as they noticed the state of their Alpha.

Alpha Mitch didn’t indulge in their sympathy and immediately called for a minute in his office.

They had a meeting and they immediately planned on how to get to the Oak tree pack.

But the pack elders caught wind of the upcoming war and immediately intercepted the Alpha, they were against it and did not hesitate to make their feelings known.

"It would destabilize the pack and affect the country as a whole. We are not in support of this". One of them spoke up.

Alpha Mitch merely glanced at them and resumed what he was doing.

"I did not ask for your support. I’m taking this decision as the Alpha of this pack and you either listen or get out. Choose one". He bellowed and started them.

They all took a few steps back in disbelief but did not back now.

"I heard you all wanted to replace me, I am the Alpha and while that stands you have to listen to me. Get out now!" They were startled and all left his office. He had never really shouted at them before, he might get angry or disagree with some things but he never used his authority on them.

The change in the Alpha’s attitude travelled far and instilled fear in those that clamored for his replacement.

They began to fear for themselves as it seemed the Alpha had returned with new rules.

Everyone became too scared to cross paths with and stayed indoors as the Warriors prepared to join their men that had been camping away at the Oak tree pack.

Tristan was stunned to wake up in bed alone and quickly scrambled off to find Alpha Mitch but to his surprise he was gone and so were lots of the pack Warriors.

"You are back". Mariah said in a tender tone and hugged him.

"Where is he?" He asked as his mind sent him warning of an impending trouble.

"To pay back those who wronged him." She replied in a worried tone but a wide smile was on his face.

"Huh?" .

"Yes". She affirmed.
