The Art of Chaotic Divinity-Chapter 1181: Please Enjoy Yourself
Compared to others, the Human Emperor's sea of mind was vast and boundless, like a sky filled with endless stars. Especially for someone like the Illusion Heart Queen who had mastered the art of spiritual refinement, her sea of mind was several times broader than that of an ordinary Human Emperor.
When Ling Feng's spiritual consciousness entered this immense expanse of sea of mind, he nearly lost himself in its depths.
Fortunately, under the guidance of a strand of the Illusion Heart Queen's spiritual power, Ling Feng gradually regained control over his own mind and avoided being ensnared by the illusions that filled Illusion Heart Queen's sea of mind.
"Your will is rather firm."
Illusion Heart Queen's voice echoed through every corner of that vast sea of mind. Within this realm of consciousness, she was the absolute ruler.
No wonder she dared to let Ling Feng step into her sea of mind. Though a cultivator's sea of mind was usually the most vulnerable place, with her formidable spiritual power, she could suppress him instantly if he made even the slightest mistake.
"The Queen's spiritual space truly commands admiration," Ling Feng said, taking a slow breath to steady his mind.
He began to imprint the sixth Dream Illusion Rule inscription into the Illusion Heart Queen's sea of mind.
The process lasted roughly a quarter of an hour. When it was complete, Ling Feng finally withdrew from her sea of mind and exhaled in relief.
He had made some progress in the path of spiritual refinement, but his was still far behind compared to the Illusion Heart Queen.
"Young one, thank you!" the Illusion Heart Queen said softly as she opened her eyes. Her figure drifted backward, and golden light shimmered around her. In the next instant, she and Ling Feng appeared in another grand hall.
Ling Feng rubbed his nose. In truth, the Queen's body had not vanished earlier. Her mastery of the Dream Illusion Rule was simply so profound that anything seen before her eyes could be real or merely an illusion. Only she knew which was which.
"Your Majesty is too polite," Ling Feng replied.
He had considered imprinting all nine Dream Illusion Rules into her sea of mind, but that level of talent would have surely startled even the Illusion Heart Queen.
"The Hourglass of Time will be yours to use for the next three days," said the Queen.
With a light snap of her fingers, a massive six feet tall hourglass appeared before them. Each grain of golden sand shimmered with a dreamlike glow.
"The Hourglass of Time is a supportive top-grade sacred artifact. By channeling your spiritual power into it, you can enter its special inner space. One year within equals one day outside. However, because it is only a sacred artifact, no one can train inside it for more than three days."
"You may begin using it now."
As she finished speaking, her body faded into transparency, dissolving into little starlights that soon vanished from sight.
"The Queen truly lives up to her name!"
Ling Feng muttered, curling his lip slightly. Her entrances and exits were always wrapped in that same unreal beauty. No wonder she was called the Illusion Heart Queen!
Without wasting another moment, he infused his spiritual power into the Hourglass of Time and, in the blink of an eye, found himself within a strange, dreamlike space.
After a brief thought, Ling Feng took out the Nightmare Heart Technique and began his long yet fleeting period of cultivation.
...
Three days passed in the outside world.
When Ling Feng stepped out of the Hourglass of Time, his aura had subtly changed. Though only three days had gone by outside, it had been a full three years for him. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
His beard had grown out, and his physique had become taller and more defined from years of rigorous training.
The greatest change, however, lay in his eyes. One look into them was enough to make anyone feel as though they were being drawn into an illusion.
The door creaked open.
Xiang'er, a maid, walked in with a cheerful smile. "Mr. Ling, please come with me to freshen up," she said gently.
Ling Feng let out an awkward laugh. Though cultivators did not accumulate filth like ordinary people, three years without a proper bath was still uncomfortable. He had trained daily, both in techniques and swordsmanship, leaving no time to rest.
After sweating like that every single day, there was no way he could possibly smell pleasant!
"I'll trouble you then," he said, nodding.
He followed Xiang'er to the bath chamber, where several maids were already kneeling by the pool. As Ling Feng entered, they bowed low to the ground in greeting.
"Uh..." Ling Feng glanced at Xiang'er in confusion. "Miss Xiang'er, what is this?"
"They're here to help you bathe, of course," Xiang'er replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Her lips curved into a playful smile. "And if the young master has... other needs, they won't refuse."
"What?" Ling Feng's forehead darkened, black lines practically appearing above his head. "Miss Xiang'er, that's really unnecessary..."
"Heehee, please enjoy yourself, Mr. Ling," Xiang'er teased, giving him a knowing look before turning to leave. She even closed the door behind her.
"Miss Xiang'er, really, there's no need!" Ling Feng protested helplessly. This was far too suggestive, far too much for him to handle.
"Mister, allow us to assist you in changing clothes," one maid said softly. She wore only a thin top and moved with graceful curves as she reached toward his belt.
"I can do it myself, I can do it!" Ling Feng exclaimed quickly.
He felt heat rising in his nose, then leapt into the air, stripped off his clothes in one motion, and plunged straight into the bath before the maids could react.
"Ah, mister, you're terrible! You've gotten our clothes all wet!"
The maids' thin garments clung to their bodies after being splashed. The sight alone was enough to make any man lose composure.
Before he could stop them, the maids began to slip off the rest of their clothes, preparing to enter the pool to "serve" him.
"Stop right there!" Ling Feng groaned inwardly. If this continued, he really would lose control!
In the next moment, a flash of purple light flickered in his eyes. The maids instantly fell into an illusion, "seeing" themselves attending to Ling Feng. Though in reality, they were only dreaming.
Ling Feng exhaled in relief. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, he smiled wryly. "Finally, some peace!"
