Chapter 1193: Yangshu Zi

Ling Feng thought for a moment, then took out a crimson stone from his dimensional spirit ring and placed it gently on the counter. He smiled calmly and said, "Senior, I wish to exchange this for the Yin-Yang Stone. What do you think?"

The old man's eyelids twitched. He lifted the red stone and examined it carefully. After a short pause, he suddenly exclaimed, "This... could this be the Flame-Refining Divine Stone?"

Ling Feng nodded slightly. "I can sense a faint trace of medicinal fragrance from you, Senior. It is subtle but of high quality. If I am not mistaken, you must be an alchemist. The Flame-Refining Divine Stone may be slightly less valuable than the Yin-Yang Stone in general, but for an alchemist, its significance is entirely different. I wish to use it in exchange for your Yin-Yang Stone. Would you be willing?"

The old man laughed heartily. "Exchange? Of course I will exchange!"

He had no reason to refuse. He had obtained two Yin-Yang Stones in total, and offering one in trade was no great loss. The Flame-Refining Divine Stone, however, was something rare and nearly impossible to find.

"Thank you, Senior," Ling Feng said with a fist-and-palm salute. In truth, he had come out ahead. It was fortunate that this old man happened to be an alchemist, otherwise, the deal might not have succeeded.

"A fair trade needs no thanks," the old man replied with a smile.

He retrieved the Yin-Yang Stone from the counter. Its front was completely black, while the back gleamed white and smooth as jade. Black and white, yin and yang. Without keen spiritual perception, one would hardly recognize it as one of the rarest treasures for spirit infusion.

The old man placed the Yin-Yang Stone into a jade box. Ling Feng reached out to receive it.

At that moment, an iron claw suddenly struck from behind, grazing Ling Feng's shoulder and clamping down on the jade box. A rough and arrogant voice followed. "Filthy pig, take your dirty hands off that. This young master has his eye on it!"

Ling Feng turned around. Murong Qianjun, who had left earlier, had somehow returned. He walked forward proudly, his expression full of disdain.

Behind him followed four stunning Quadruplet-like sisters, each watching Ling Feng's group with mocking amusement.

This guy again!

Ling Feng frowned. On the stairs earlier, he had already wanted to teach this fool a lesson, but he chose to avoid trouble and let him go.

Who would've known the fellow came back!

Ling Feng reacted quickly. He seized the jade box, locking into a stalemate with Murong Qianjun. His tone was cold. "I have already paid for this item. It belongs to me. The one who should leave is you!"

Murong Qianjun gripped the chain tightly, trying to retract the claw, but no matter how much strength he used, the jade box did not move at all.

A trace of surprise flashed across his eyes. He glared at Ling Feng, thinking to himself, this fat pig actually has brute strength!

Murong Qianjun clearly had no intention of backing down. His voice turned sharp and cold. "Hey pig, do not think that a little family influence gives you the right to act arrogant before me. Do you even know where you are? This is Tianhuang City. Hand over the Yin-Yang Stone if you know what's good for you!"

"So what if it is Tianhuang City?"

Ling Feng did not even look at him. He let his elemental force surge through his arm, shattering the iron claw into fragments. Then, with calm composure, he stored the jade box into his storage spirit ring. "From what I know, you are only the son of a gatekeeper in the Murong Clan. In other words, a kennel dog of the Murongs. Since when do men need to step aside for dogs?"

"What did you say?"

Murong Qianjun's expression twisted with fury. Nothing enraged him more than being mocked for his background.

It was true that his mother had been a concubine of the Murong Clan with no standing whatsoever, however his current position had been earned entirely through his own talent. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Murong Qianjun's eyes twitched violently as he glared at Ling Feng. "You filthy pig, you must be tired of living!"

"A dog is still a dog. A dog's mouth can never spit ivory!"

Ling Feng ignored him completely. He turned to the old man and gave a polite nod, then led Tuoba Yan and the other companion past Murong Qianjun toward the stairs.
