Chapter 466: Chapter 466: Xia Weifu, Truly Been Looking Forward to Meeting You

The car drove all the way to the suburbs, and after almost forty-five minutes, it finally arrived at G City Prison, located in the outskirts.

Before the car stopped, Qin Muni glanced sideways at the prison outside the window, a somber, cold place that naturally inspired awe.

Once the driver steadied the vehicle, Qin Muni paid the fare, opened the car door, and got out gracefully.

A gust of cold wind swept by, and Qin Muni instinctively tightened her coat around herself as she briskly walked towards the prison.

The prison guard sat behind his desk. Hearing the door open, he raised his head to glance at Qin Muni, who was wearing sunglasses, then lowered his eyes to continue his paperwork.

It wasn’t until Qin Muni approached his desk and spoke to him that he raised his head again.

"Hello, I would like to visit Xia Weifu."

The guard raised his head as soon as he heard her, instinctively furrowing his brow slightly, openly scrutinizing Qin Muni before coldly saying, "Please remove your sunglasses and show your ID."

Qin Muni nodded, removed the sunglasses from her nose, and took her ID from her bag to hand it to the guard.

The guard took the ID she handed over. Upon seeing the name and photo on the ID, a trace of surprise flashed quickly across his face before he instinctively looked back at Qin Muni, then quickly diverted his gaze.

He entered the visitor’s information into the computer, and once everything was filled out, he handed Qin Muni’s ID back to her.

"Please sit and wait for a moment; an officer will soon come to take you to visit Xia Weifu."

The guard’s voice was less cold than before and contained a touch more respect.

Qin Muni took back the ID and put it in her bag. After thanking him, she found a seat and sat down.

Watching her take a seat, the guard quickly took out his phone and sent a text message to his superior.

When Xia Weifu was imprisoned, his superior had issued a clear directive that if anyone came to visit Xia Weifu, they must be reported immediately.

Unexpectedly, the first visitor to Xia Weifu turned out to be Qin Muni, the notable figure of G City and the ex-wife of the Fanshu Group chairman.

He certainly dared not take any chances, and after sending a message to his superior, he waited for orders.

Qin Muni had been sitting for no more than three minutes before an officer approached her and personally led her to the prisoners’ meeting room.

"Miss Qin, please wait a moment; Xia Weifu will be here soon."

"Alright, thank you."

Qin Muni sat down at Window Three, patiently waiting for Xia Weifu to appear.

Before long, an officer brought Xia Weifu in, his hands cuffed, to the other side of the meeting room.

Wearing prison clothes and handcuffed, Xia Weifu walked into the meeting room. Seeing Qin Muni sitting at the other end, a momentary surprise flashed across his face; he clearly hadn’t anticipated her visit.

He sat at Window Three, a thick glass wall separating the two.

Qin Muni picked up the intercom phone, a casual smile lingering at the corner of her red lips.

"Xia Weifu, truly a name I’ve heard much about," she said, her sweet voice carrying a faint nuance of irony.

"Likewise." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"I didn’t expect our first meeting to be in such a unique location."

Xia Weifu’s lips curved slightly, his smile carrying a cold aura as he gritted his teeth, "I must thank your ex-husband Xu Yisen for that."

Qin Muni nodded in agreement, then leisurely responded, "Yes, I feel the same way. Since I haven’t received any texts from you lately, my sleep has improved significantly."
