Xu Yisen sensibly shut his mouth, choosing not to justify his actions and provoke Qin Muni into further sarcasm.

He rested his chin on one hand, with a faint smile at the corners of his mouth, gazing at Qin Muni who was dining across from him, with a smitten expression that revealed his character as a little fanboy.

Qin Muni calmly finished her breakfast under his gaze, then looked at Xu Yisen and asked, "Do I have something on my face? Why are you looking so fascinated?"

"Munni’s face is more beautiful than a blooming flower."

Qin Muni stood up from her chair, clearly not buying his flattery.

Xu Yisen quickly stood as well and followed her back to the room.

"You have a meeting to attend later? I’ll be playing golf with Manager Li."

"Yes, that’s fine. Have fun."

Once in the room, Qin Muni headed straight to the wardrobe. Xu Yisen, following behind, attempted to enter the wardrobe with her, but Qin Muni stopped and gave him a glare, causing him to halt in his tracks. He then watched as Qin Muni reached out and closed the wardrobe door, locking it behind her.

Xu Yisen amusedly watched her defensive actions and gently knocked on the wardrobe door, "Munni, don’t be nervous, I’m not a bad guy."

"Oh sure, you’re not a bad guy, just a beast—S-beast."

"...!"

At Qin Muni’s accusation, Xu Yisen found himself momentarily at a loss for words.

Once Qin Muni had changed her clothes and walked out of the wardrobe, Xu Yisen was still waiting by the door, looking aggrieved, as if silently protesting her accusations against him.

Xu Yisen nodded and headed into the wardrobe to select a suit to wear.

When he emerged, having changed into his outfit, Qin Muni had not yet left. She sat on the armchair by the window, gazing absentmindedly at the sea view outside.

She only snapped out of her trance when she heard footsteps, instinctively smiling up at Xu Yisen.

"What were you looking at, so lost in thought?"

Qin Muni casually replied, "Just admiring some eye candy."

"Seems like Munni hasn’t given up on the idea of keeping a young handsome guy," Xu Yisen playfully remarked, his previously gentle smile now carrying a hint of deeper meaning.

Qin Muni pursed her lips and stood up from the armchair, gently straightening Xu Yisen’s tie for him.

"Go to your meeting, see you later."

Her deliberate change of topic amused Xu Yisen. He leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on Qin Muni’s forehead, "Yes, have fun."
