The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress-Chapter 597 - 638: Night Owl’s Prey
"Really?"
"She was determined to leave back then, and now that I have the ability to help her escape, she tells me she doesn’t want to go." He smiled and took another swig of the strong liquor.
"What else did you two talk about?"
"Nothing much."
"Oh?" The man seemed unconvinced by his words, and with a suspicious gaze, he gently scanned his face.
Xavier Young looked at the secretive man before him. What was this about?
He had met this man five years ago, but they had only met a few times.
Now this man suddenly appeared, right after his encounter with Sienna Johnson, even specifically asking about her.
"Why are you so interested in her? Is it just because she’s Adrian Desmond’s wife?" Xavier asked curiously.
Night Owl smirked. "Because I want her to become my woman!"
Xavier’s hand on the table clenched into a tight fist as he stared at Night Owl. A love rival, he thought. Another man, like Adrian Desmond, trying to take Sienna.
"She’s been married and has had a child. That child isn’t someone else’s; it’s Adrian Desmond’s. Don’t you mind that at all?"
Xavier didn’t know the true extent of the man’s power. However, his understanding of him over the years told him this man was far from simple. If he were to compete with him for Sienna, he would undoubtedly lose.
"A child? Adrian Desmond’s child? So what? Just kill it, and it won’t exist anymore."
Night Owl had a cold and ruthless expression on his face. Anyone who heard those words would not doubt their sincerity.
Night Owl sneered and asked, "Why the long face? Can’t bear to kill Sienna’s child, can you?"
"Yes! I can’t!"
"HEH HEH..." Night Owl laughed. "Coward! No wonder you can’t even handle a woman."
Xavier stared at Night Owl, reminding him, "She really loves children. If she finds out you killed her child, she will never forgive you."
"What does her forgiveness have to do with me? So what if she doesn’t forgive? I don’t need her forgiveness!"
"Don’t you love her?"
"Love?" As if he’d heard the funniest joke in the world, he erupted into laughter. "HAHA..."
"I love her? HAHA..." Night Owl laughed until tears welled in his eyes. "How could you think I love her?"
"Don’t you want her? If you don’t love her, why do you want her?"
Night Owl stopped laughing and regained his sinister demeanor. "Because Adrian Desmond loves her! That’s why I want her! I want her body, I want her heart!"
"..."
"What do you think his expression will be if Adrian Desmond finds out that his woman has fallen in love with me?"
Night Owl smiled wickedly, a mischievous gleam in his narrow, phoenix-like eyes.
"It will, definitely, be, interesting!" he said, pausing between each word.
Xavier shivered, his palms becoming sweaty. Night Owl, exuding an air of languid danger, swirled the iced drink in his hand, then lifted it for a sip.
"You’ve been on Unnamed Island for so many years, so you must be very familiar with its terrain. Over the next two days, draw a map of Unnamed Island and give it to me!" he ordered.
"What do you want the map for?"
"Of course, to see my little beauty."
Xavier looked at him nervously, his voice trembling. "What are you going to do to her?"
Night Owl suddenly drew his gun. By the time Xavier reacted, it was too late. The pitch-black muzzle aimed at his forehead, a cold bead of sweat sliding down from his brow.
It was the first time Xavier had seen Night Owl draw his gun.
The speed was so fast that he couldn’t react. If Night Owl wanted to kill him, he would already be dead.
The only person he knew who could draw a gun that quickly was Adrian Desmond.
"You’re asking a lot of questions tonight. Did our little chat make you think I’m an easy person to talk to?"
"I wouldn’t dare!"
"I know everything about your little affair with Sienna Johnson. You’d best be clear-headed and not dream about women who don’t belong to you. Even if Sienna leaves Adrian, she will never belong to you!"
"..."
"She’s now my prey. You’d better weigh your strength before deciding whether to compete with me for her!"
Night Owl holstered his weapon, placing the gun on the table with the muzzle still pointed at Xavier, a clear warning that if he disobeyed, he would be killed at any moment.
"I will draw the map as soon as possible and have Water Snake deliver it to you."
Water Snake had been the intermediary between him and Night Owl all these years. Night Owl often relayed instructions to Xavier through him.
"Adrian Desmond already knows you’ve seen Sienna. You’d better stay away from her; Adrian is not a generous man. You won’t even know how you died if you mess with him!"
As a reward, Night Owl gave Xavier this warning.
"I’m not afraid of him!"
"You would dare anything for a beautiful woman."
Night Owl got up, walked over to Xavier, gently patted his shoulder, and left the tea shop.
...
Yacht, blue sky, white clouds, soaring seagulls, their calls echoing beautifully in the air.
On the deck, Sienna wore a peach-colored bikini, which complemented her snow-white skin. Wearing sunglasses and a sun hat, she lay there sunbathing.
Adrian had just emerged from the sea, wearing a pair of black shorts that revealed his lean, bronze skin.
"Why are you sleeping again?"
Sienna opened her eyes slowly, looking at him through her dark lenses. She was still somewhat hazy and not yet fully awake. She stretched out her arms, hooked them around his neck, and kissed him.
"It’s so salty, tastes like seawater," she complained.
Adrian’s stamina was astounding. Claiming he hadn’t exercised in a long time, he’d jumped into the sea and swum alongside the yacht for over an hour. Sienna had taken a nap by the time he finally climbed back on board.
Thirsty, Adrian picked up Sienna’s leftover juice and took a few sips. Leaving half a mouthful, he then kissed her, transferring the juice into her mouth.
"Still salty?"
Sienna frowned and said, "Adrian, that’s disgusting!"
"Now you find me disgusting? It’s not like you haven’t tasted my saliva before."
Sienna got angry and hit him. Adrian laughed. "Angry again? How about you feed me juice, just like I fed you?"
"I’m ignoring you."
"Really ignoring me?"
"Ignoring!"
Adrian bent down, picked Sienna up, and headed towards the cabin. The deck was empty—convenient, given how revealingly Sienna was dressed.
"What are you going to do?"
"What do you think?..."
"If you’re so full of energy with nowhere to vent it, go jump in the sea and swim some more."
"I only want to vent it on you."
Adrian carried her into the cabin. This luxury yacht still belonged to Sienna. Adrian had gifted it to her years ago. He had lied, telling her it was destroyed, but he had actually kept it.
