Drukali raised an eyebrow in surprise. He had not expected Leon to refuse him even after showing off the Gravida ore. This was a top resource that could overturn many nations, even if found in small quantities. Yet, here he was, offering a year's worth of the resource to Leon and still getting turned down.

'Does he already know the worth of the child of prophecy? If so, he must understand that a year's worth is nothing.' Drukali gritted his teeth. He needed to get this done quickly.

"Leon, it seems you do not understand what I am getting at. This is an important matter to my people. In fact, we have a higher ground, as this has to do with a child of my race. I hope you can understand this." Drukali stood up and tried to stop Leon.

"I said I will think about it." Leon turned slightly and pinned Drukali with a glare, causing a cold sweat to form on his back instantly. He was tempted to take a step back, as he felt like he was looking death in the face, but his pride as a dragon surged and he stood his ground firmly, his aura rushing out to combat Leon's.

"Oh?" Leon saw that Drukali was not willing to take a step back and turned around to face him before removing the seal that he had placed on his aura.

BOOM!

The entire building shook fiercely as Leon's mighty aura completely unveiled itself. The concrete that was used to build it began to degrade at a very quick pace while the faces of all the dragons paled. In a moment, they were staring Leon down, and in the next, they were enveloped by darkness while feeling like countless eyes were bearing down on them and grinding down their wills.

'Death...'

A whisper of a voice echoed in all their ears and they took steps back. The only one that did not move was Drukali. He was shocked at Leon's true power, but he was not a toothless dragon. His Dragon Might spread out and combated Leon's aura at full power while two wings appeared behind him, flaring and blazing with heat.

Boom!

All of a sudden, several more powerful aura blasted out from around Drukali, but they did not belong to his subordinates. In the distance, several terrifying beings revealed their presence, but they did not do much else.

Sensing their presence, Drukali understood that he should not push his boundaries in another's territory, so he gradually reigned in his aura, but he did not stop looking forward with a defiant look.

Gradually, Leon's own deathly aura vanished and the surroundings returned to normal, revealing the dragons who warily stared at him. Their gazes were filled with respect and a hint of fear. It was obvious to them now that none but their leader could contend with Leon in terms of strength, and even then, they were not sure who would win! 𝐟𝓇ℯ𝒆we𝒃𝘯𝒐νe𝑙.co𝚖

This admission hurt them deeply, as before, they had unwavering confidence in their leader's strength and ability to pull them through anything they might encounter in the Central Continent. Now, they were not too sure.

"I will see you at another time, depending on how things go." Leon said before seeing himself out of the door. When the door slammed close, he immediately went to the place with the teleportation formation and took his leave. Several shadows followed him and teleported away after him.

Leon appeared in another building in the forward base with a flash of light and an intrigued look on his face. He had not tested his new powers in a fight yet, but from what he could tell, if he could match up with the Dragon Overlord that was feared by many across the world, then his power was supreme!

"This is a good thing. Now, I should focus on raising the souls that I have kept in my backlog. Garrix, Hydrax, Onyx, and many more. I can also convert Garrix's army into my own." Leon rubbed his chin as he walked away. His thoughts also came across something that he had been putting off due to his inability for some time now.

'Those ten dark knights from before. I should also be able to raise them now. I will find out their origin.' Leon told himself as someone walked up behind him.

"That was a pretty intense stare down, don't you think?" Yaika asked as she caught up to Leon. "And those other ones were yours, yes?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Kaladin, Nero and the others appeared around Leon. Yaika immediately paused as she felt for their strength and a grin spread over her features.

"It seems you never intended to spar with me. Do I need to prove myself against your summons?" Yaika asked and stepped forward, gripping one of the two sabers that were hanging from her hips.

"Not today, Yaika. I have a lot on my plate. Maybe some other time." Leon refused her again and she pouted.

"Fine, but promise me we will get to fight. I haven't fought another person yet since I came out of my seclusion. I'm eager to test out my strength!" She took a bold step forward.

"Test out your strength on the battlefield, then." Leon refused her again.

"Oh, come one! Don't be a buzzkill!" Yaika complained like a child whose parent refused to let her play, but Leon ignored her and simple kept on walking. He did not plan to return to Fort White, but instead decided to remain at the frontlines while exploring his new abilities.

"Where are you going?" Yaika asked Leon when she saw that he was not going to the main building, and was instead leaving the premises of the forward base.

"To test out my abilities." Leon did not hide his motives.

"Oh! I'll come with you, then." Yaika said excitedly and Leon did not stop her. He already knew that it was futile.
