Chapter 204: 204: The Iron Fangs Serve Me

Simon slowly got to his feet after he was hundred percent certain that Akaza was fully unconscious.

Blood fell on the ground from his Chaos Wraps, and Simon exhaled deeply as he stood over Akaza’s unconscious body.

He looked around, and when he saw how ruined his environment was, he could not help but shake his head softly.

He was not foreign to this kind of destruction, but it was a little bit surprising to him since it’s been sixteen years since he had the power to cause this level of destruction.

’Well, to be fair. It’s Akaza and that Blue Fang guy that actually destroyed the building. I still don’t have the power to destroy a building.’

’I need to become an Archfiend to be able to finally control my chaos.’

He looked at the unconscious Akaza, then he opened his palm and a dark green pill appeared on top of his palm.

He bent, raised Akaza’s head, then he forced down the pill down Akaza’s throat.

’Hmm. This might not be enough.’

Simon then looked at a piece of the Chaos Wraps he tied around his waist. He removed it, then he dragged Akaza to a broken pillar, tied him to the pillar, then he removed part of the Chaos Wraps from his left arm and tied Akaza’s ankles together.

"That should prevent him from attacking me the moment he wakes up."

Although Simon was able to remove part of the Chaos Wraps and use it for different things, he could not remove the entire Chaos Wraps from his arms no matter what.

And he could also reattach this pieces of Chaos Wraps he removed back to the Chaos Wraps around his arm.

’I wonder when I’ll be able to completely remove the Chaos Wraps.’

Simon knew that he could ask Lilith, but he had a feeling that Lilith would not give him an answer.

However, after realizing the benefits the Chaos Wraps gave his constitution, he was not so annoyed at it as before.

Despite the fact that his arms broke and they should have become unusable a long time ago from Akaza’s punches, his arms were still in one piece and he could even feel that they were healing much faster than the other parts of his body.

’The Chaos Wraps are like bandages. They increased the constitution of my arms, their physical defenses, and also the healing rate of my arms... And I feel like, there might be more.’

Simon then shifted his gaze to Akaza. He had not expected to find a Martial Demon in a gang of failures and rift rafts.

He was not certain if Investigator Radan chose to deliberately not tell him about Akaza or if he genuinely did not know about Akaza.

’If he kept Akaza’s information from me on purpose, then I guess it’s not surprising. Afterall, I threatened him.’

’Hmm... Maybe I’ll teach him a lesson later.’

Simon shifted his thoughts from investigator Radan to Akaza.

Akaza was an anomaly which he did not expect in the slightest when he decided to attack the Iron Fangs.

Martial Demons were one of the elite demons of the demon realm, and that’s because they were one of the few demon races that could develop a different sort of chaos aside from the twelve elements.

Not all demons had an elemental affinity. Although it was rare because in many cases, a demon would have a low rank affinity for a particular element. However, there were some demons who had no affinity for any element, and their chaos would be attributeless.

These demons were not seen as special and unique demons because a chaos flame without an elemental affinity is 99% of the time weaker than a chaos flame with an elemental affinity.

As for the remaining 1%?

These were just stories he heard from certain demons and comrades of his past life, and it was for the future.

A demon without an elemental affinity was usually seen as a weak demon, and they usually were.

But there were certain cases whose chaos flames developed different abilities compared to the common elemental abilities.

For example, Martial Demons.

If a Martial Demon failed to awaken an elemental affinity during their Coming of Age Rite, the Martial Demon would most likely develop an Innate Martial Technique, and the power of the Martial Technique or Martial Arts as some call it, depends on the demon’s bloodline.

Akaza was a Martial Demon with a Royal Bloodline. His Martial Technique centered around gravity, and by all means, he should be treasured by the Martial Demons.

This was also another thing that baffled Simon.

The Grave Mark did not signal to him that Akaza was a slave, so he knew that Akaza wasn’t a slave, but he could not understand why a talented Martial Demon was in the Shadowgrave Clan of assassins and not in the Martial Clan.

’I wonder what his backstory is. Hmm... Well, it doesn’t matter though.’

’And honestly... I’m quite tempted to devour this kid... Sigh... But I can’t.’

Despite the urge to devour Akaza and gain his powers to utilize gravity, he knew that he could not devour Akaza.

It would do him more than good for several reasons, and honestly, he still wanted to obtain a defensive and healing skill first before using up the remaining four slots of his Seven Stars Blessing.

’And maybe a unique movement skill. That’s if I find one I like since I’ll learn how to teleport once I become an Archfiend.’

Just as Simon had this thought, Akaza’s eyes fluttered open and he looked around with a daze.

Simon could not see his face because of his lion mask, but he could see the confusion in Akaza’s eyes at first before it turned to realization then anger the moment Akaza saw his face.

"You fucking coward."

Akaza growled, and Simon smiled behind his mask.

"Before you start barking like a dog, I have a few things to tell you."

"Number one. You have been poisoned by me and I’m the only one that has the antidote. If you don’t take the antidote in two days, you’ll die a slow and painful death. I’ll also poison all the remaining members of the Iron Fangs with time."

"Number two. You’re going to show and give me all the merits the Iron Fangs have. Your people caused this by interrupting my meal for no reason."

"Number three. From now on, the Iron Fangs answer to me. However, I am not going to be seen as the leader of the Iron Fangs, you or Geryan would still be the leader of the Iron Fangs. I don’t care. You and your subordinates would answer to me no matter what."

"The Iron Fangs serve me."

"Number four. I’m hungry and thirsty, so get me some food and liquor."
