Chapter 414: Mission and Exchange Shop (1)

She can change the price at will but there was a countdown of 24 hours.

Just like the player’s inventory, one slot can store up to 99 of the same item.

If the stocks in the exchange shop are running out, a prior notice would be sent.

It sure is handy.

She likes the shop more and more but the slots are too few.

Opening the trade market, she bought raw materials since her stones had run out from building the mountain road. After having enough materials, she upgraded the Town Hall to Level 2.

The slots increased to 30.

She couldn’t upgrade it level 3 unless her territory upgrades to level 3 too and there was an additional condition added.

The Town Hall must reach 100 transactions.

Chunhua withdrew the space storage from the shop first, planning to consult Siri for the right price.

After appointing Siri as [Territory Manager] and passed him the highest authority, she returned to her Residence, intending to tell Siri about the Town Hall later.

On the way, she noticed that one of the rooms of the Courtyard House (Siheyuan) behind her residence was still brightly lit. She lowered her head to check the time on the game screen besides the weather announcement.

[Time: 4:49 a.m.]

She stared a little longer before entering her house. The moment she entered her room, she plopped on the bed.

Just a little bit more and I can have my dream life.

Chunhua blinked, gathered and cuddled the little bundles of joy sleeping soundly in her arms

The accumulated mental fatigue made her eyelids heavy and not long after, she dozed to sleep.

A pair of calloused hands pulled the blankets and tucked the woman carefully on the bed.

"You’ve worked hard."

As if the woman heard the whisper, she smiled in her sleep.

Triton glanced at the man standing beside the bed.

They’re so alike. The posture, the figure, that presence and especially that pair of eyes that always struck terror in hearts of many, including him.

Triton stiffened when the man locked gaze with him.

Did he see me?

Haoran stood there for a while, staring at the window before going out.

Only did Triton lowered his guard.

On the other hand, after separating from Chunhua, Siri was also busy. Since there no office yet, he had been using the tailoring shop to review documents.

[Road Plan]

[Areas Segregation- Commercial, Residential and Industrial Zones]

This was in preparation for the Level 3 upgrade. Master said that she only needed one more requirement to fulfil.

Siri looked at the design that was inspired from Hallow City and flashes of images about a thriving city came to his mind. His mood soared.

[Outer Wall and Expansion Plan]

[Bastion]

[Stable]

[Granary]

[Barracks]

[Public Market]

He set them aside before going over the current tasks.

[Cold Storage]

[Grocery Store]

[Library and Stationary Store]

Once a papermaker is hired, they can start mass production of papers, charcoal pens, and notebooks.

He can author books with the help of Master that will discuss about the mountain map, the monsters in it and their skills, plants and etc.

This library will be accessible to everyone.

[Pharmacy and Clinic]

These will be build beside the Alchemy Workshop.

[Town’s Hall]

[Brewery]

It would be a waste not to use the pressing machine that guy handed last week.

It was a coincidence that there was a wine brewer among the new residents and the fruit trees in the farm are already ripe.

He wanted to see, if besides Haoran, can others’ creation grant buffs.

If the wine is successfully made, he can open a [Tavern] where the residents can unwind.

These establishments will help in money circulation and taxation.

Siri paused. Should he also ask that guy if he wanted to open a restaurant?

Though it was hard to admit, the food that guys cook was very delicious. Siri had stopped cooking his own ever since he tasted Haoran’s cooking.

In the midst of his pondering, the door of the Tailoring Workshop opened revealing Remi, carrying a tray, containing pottery cups and a kettle, "Manager, Early Morning! I brought you tea."

Siri briefly glanced at the tea cups before saying, "Come in and help me sort these papers."

Remi placed the tray down and poured the tea onto a small bamboo tea cup and served it to the Elf.

Steam rose from the cup and the sweet and fruity scent of the Sunny Azalea tea leaves wafted under his nose. Siri took a small sip and was pleased, "Good tea."

Remi was delighted before pouring herself a cup.

They started work, organizing the papers until morning came. The door opened letting the rays of sunlight graced the room.

"Oh my, Territory Manager, you’re here." Auntie Su was the one who came in, bringing her spare clothes, apron and tools. She was startled seeing the Manager inside the shop.

Remi waved and greeted the middle aged woman, "Good Morning Auntie, we had to use this place since we don’t an office yet."

Siri saw the mess they made and apologized for the bother.

"It’s okay. There’s not much of a mess." Auntie Su placed her things on the bench. "Right Manager, I happened to see a new building on my way here. I wonder what it was."

Siri raised his brows.

A new building?

Master didn’t notify him at all.

Right after he spoke it in his head, he heard a sound.

[The Landowner of the Salted Fish Territory has appointed ’Territory Manager’.]

[You can now view the Resident List, their primary information and Resident Point Balance.]

[You can access the executive rooms in the Town Hall.]

[You have control access to the Mission Board.]

[You have control access to the Exchange Shop.]

[You can now assign employees and distribute authority.]

[You can now...]

Startled, Siri stood and excused himself to find out to confirm the system messages.

He came back after a few minutes and on his lips was a smile, "I think Master built a Town Hall."

Remi knew what a Town Hall was and understood they had an office now!

She hurriedly carried the papers and followed the Elf towards their new working place but not before telling Auntie Su to notify the new residents who were interested of the missions and jobs to proceed to the Town Hall instead of the warehouse.

"No problem, Manager. I will inform them." Auntie nodded.
