The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 160: Who Could Resist Such a Stunner?
Dr. Chandler said something, but Jasper Yale couldn’t hear it.
He just saw Yelena Hughes nodding from time to time, looking very much like she was in admiration.
Jasper’s tall figure was reflected on the glass window, but the two inside were so focused that neither noticed him.
"Our hospital has many more authoritative doctors; you should actually interview them."
"Dr. Chandler, your TikTok account is managed very well, and you have hundreds of thousands of fans. I was drawn over because of that."
Yelena Hughes was wearing a tight sweater. She had a slender frame, and in such clothes, she looked like a wisp of paper.
She appeared fragile, with a cold allure mixed with a touch of seduction. If a man liked this type, he would be enchanted to death.
Yelena was having a great conversation with the person opposite her, and when she thought of checking the time, she turned her body and caught a silhouette on the glass with her peripheral vision.
She lifted her gaze, and a familiar face suddenly came into view.
Jasper was standing outside, smoking, and she didn’t dare to look closely at his expression.
The cigarette was held between his fingers, lips slightly parted, his tongue pressing against his upper palate, and the mist exhaled from the corner of his mouth obscured most of his face.
A simple action, yet it was exuding a strong sense of desire.
The smile at the corner of Yelena’s mouth started to become unnatural. "Dr. Chandler, what hobbies do you usually have?"
"Playing sports, reading. I like playing tennis, do you?"
With Jasper watching her, the right side of Yelena’s face grew hot, "I don’t, but I can learn."
Jasper finished a cigarette, but continued standing there without leaving.
Yelena was really capable, knowing how to use a roundabout strategy. Unable to find Maestro Chandler, she started with his son.
She saw from the corner of her eye that the man moved. He lifted his foot to leave, and she glanced over to see Jasper didn’t get in the car; he seemed like he was going into the restaurant.
"Sorry, I need to go to the restroom."
Yelena stood up from her seat.
"Please, go ahead."
She didn’t take her coat and walked briskly towards the restaurant entrance, just in time to bump into Jasper in the spacious lobby.
Yelena was panting from walking too fast, "Young Master, where... are you going?"
"To eat."
"Which floor?"
Jasper looked at her with a half-smile, "The first floor."
This made Yelena unable to smile, "The first floor doesn’t even have a private room."
"I want to see the street view. A seat by the window will do."
Yelena couldn’t stay out for too long; she couldn’t let the person inside wait indefinitely. She walked up to Jasper and raised her hands slightly, blocking his path.
"Young Master, let’s not beat around the bush. I’m begging you, don’t mess up my plan, okay?"
"What do you plan to do?" Jasper asked, knowing full well, inspecting Yelena’s face from above, his tone growing more intense, "Even if it’s to seduce someone, you should find another place."
"I approached Dr. Chandler with a purpose, but I never thought of using such filthy tricks."
The two stood in the lobby, people coming and going, each passerby stealing a glance at the scene.
Seeing this, Yelena pulled Jasper’s arm, dragging him to a deserted spot.
"I will handle my sister’s surgery on my own."
She didn’t want to beg Jasper, having spent two days memorizing Maestro Chandler’s information. Yelena was decisive and straight to the point; Dr. Chandler was accommodating, leading to their meeting.
"You think having a couple of meals with him will convince his father to pick up the scalpel again?"
Yelena felt a tightness in her chest, "The waiting time for my sister’s donor may be long. I can become good friends with him. I could try..."
Jasper let out a light laugh, with a heavy undertone of sarcasm.
He leaned closer to Yelena’s ear, "Unless it’s a bed relationship, on what basis do you think he would help you?"
Her face stiffened, with his scorching breath hitting her face, feeling like a slap.
Yelena mimicked him with a smile, "I see Dr. Chandler as a gentleman."
"The more refined one is on the surface, the wilder they are in bed."
Yelena couldn’t bear Jasper’s words, "Young Master, can’t I find my own solutions?"
Her attitude of wanting to cut ties with him was evident.
Even Jasper couldn’t take a step closer, "You really have that kind of ability?"
"Man proposes, God disposes, I’d like to try."
Yelena raised her eyelids, scrutinizing him, "Young Master isn’t planning to follow me and say something scandalous about us in front of Dr. Chandler, are you?"
Just hearing her say that, Jasper found such behavior demeaning.
But when he was walking in earlier, he did have that thought.
"Yelena, I’m waiting for your good news."
She believed she was capable, so let her try!
Jasper didn’t make it difficult for her, striding away.
Yelena’s heart nearly jumped out. She reached out to hold it down. Fortunately, the Young Master had left.
She quickly returned to the restaurant, apologizing to Dr. Chandler. Yelena had just sat down when she saw Jasper’s car leaving from the corner of her eye.
Even Yelena herself didn’t expect, she and Dr. Chandler developed quite well.
This weekend, he even invited her out to play tennis.
Hailey Jenkins knocked on Jasper’s office door and walked to the desk, "Young Master."
On the desk was a file with a signature at the bottom. Jasper was looking at it pensively.
"Miss Hughes and Dr. Chandler went out," Hailey said softly.
Jasper twirled the pen in his hand, his brows furrowed.
Hailey handed over a few photos. The two weren’t doing anything overly intimate, but Yelena was smiling, her eyes crinkling with genuine happiness.
Being with another man made her this happy?
Jasper looked at the photos, one of the two sitting together and talking, eyes meeting, possibly filled with admiration.
In another, Yelena was dressed in tennis attire, and Dr. Chandler, noticing her incorrect posture, stood behind helping her correct it.
His hand didn’t touch her, just the racquet, but as his arm extended, he was evidently enveloping her.
Every change in Jasper’s emotions now was caused by Yelena.
What’s her intention?
"Young Master, should I speak to Dr. Chandler, clarify your relationship with Miss Hughes to him?"
Jasper’s expression was stern, and his words likewise.
"If you think it’s that easy for her to climb up to the Chandler Family, go ahead."
Jasper stood up, his tall frame moving to the floor-to-ceiling window, eyes fixed on the bustling world below, feeling a chaos inside.
Perhaps Yelena was just aiming to win over Dr. Chandler to make him speak with his father.
If so, she would surely succeed.
After all, in face of temptation, few men could resist a woman like Yelena.
A fire raged in Jasper’s heart, "Is she still at the tennis court?"
