The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 163: This Is My Girlfriend
Yelena Hughes was pulled over by him and sat next to Jasper Yale.
On a long leather bench, the two were almost sitting tightly side by side.
Yelena Hughes felt extremely awkward.
Dr. Chandler had already ordered fish, and the freshly prepared fish slices were quickly served, "I was afraid you might be hungry, so I ordered first. Go ahead and eat."
"This tastes pretty good, it’s my favorite," Yelena Hughes quickly picked up the chopsticks on the table.
Jasper Yale watched the fish slices tumbling in the pot, steam continuously rising, even wafting over, carrying the smell of old pickled cabbage.
He felt disdain and leaned back a bit.
Yelena Hughes fished up a piece of fish and put it into her mouth. "Delicious, with a little spiciness."
"Afraid you don’t eat spicy, I ordered you a drink," Dr. Chandler said as he poured her a glass.
In the corner of her eye, Yelena Hughes glanced beside her; Jasper Yale wasn’t moving his chopsticks at all, her mind wasn’t focused on eating; she didn’t know what Jasper Yale would do the next moment.
He waved his hand in front of his nose, expressing his disdain to the fullest.
"Hurry up and eat, finish early and go home."
If it weren’t for the fact that the fish had no bones, Yelena Hughes would truly suspect she had been stabbed in the throat.
Dr. Chandler heard these words, also showing a hint of confusion on his face.
Jasper Yale wrapped his arm around Yelena Hughes’s waist, startling her to almost jump in place.
His other hand pressed on her leg to stop her from moving, seeing her panicked expression, Jasper Yale found it quite amusing.
"Don’t..."
Yelena Hughes wanted to struggle.
"Dr. Chandler, I am quite familiar with your father, but you and I have never dealt with each other."
Dr. Chandler’s family has generations of medical practice, never liking to deal with businessmen; his expression was very calm, "Yes."
"I arranged to have dinner with my girlfriend here today and didn’t expect to run into you. What a coincidence," Jasper Yale said, causing Dr. Chandler to shift his gaze to Yelena Hughes’s face.
Yelena Hughes’s face turned somewhat red; she held her breath and looked at the man beside her.
"Young Master, what are you talking about? I don’t understand."
"Aren’t you my girlfriend?"
Yelena Hughes wanted to strongly deny it, but Jasper Yale blocked her next words, "Don’t refuse to admit our relationship just because you’re mad at me. Do you want me to prove it to Dr. Chandler?"
Yelena Hughes involuntarily tightened her grip on the chopsticks; how could such a thing be proven?
Jasper Yale was so perverse, wouldn’t he keep leverage over her?
"Young Master, please don’t do this."
Dr. Chandler’s eyes showed some disappointment; he wanted to see if he could develop something with Yelena Hughes, but the prerequisite was that both had to be single.
"Miss Hughes, is it true you’re in a romantic relationship?"
Yelena Hughes felt the hand on her leg move up a little, Jasper Yale’s little finger skimmed over her inner thigh.
Yelena Hughes’s hand holding the chopsticks started to tremble.
"Dr. Chandler..."
Her voice was soft and sticky, which to Jasper Yale was alluring.
Yelena Hughes dared not utter a word in denial; she felt annoyed, this man could easily disrupt her life.
Dr. Chandler saw her not deny it, with a concealing attitude, guessing things weren’t simple between them.
"So Miss Hughes’s boyfriend is Young Master Yale."
Yelena Hughes wanted to say, who was she to deserve this?
"Quite fitting," he sincerely thought so; just in terms of appearance, the two were simply a match made in heaven.
He just felt a bit regretful because Yelena Hughes was quite attractive to him.
A meal that felt like having a fishbone stuck in one’s throat, after it ended, Dr. Chandler didn’t offer to see Yelena Hughes home, said goodbye and left.
Yelena Hughes gazed at his back, feeling some melancholy.
Would he think she had ill intentions and lose all good impressions of her?
Jasper Yale saw her still reluctant to let go; he stood up, pulling her along to stand.
"Let’s go."
Yelena Hughes was led out of the restaurant by him, the car was waiting at the entrance, Yelena Hughes’s small frame couldn’t match his, and was pushed into the car by Jasper Yale.
Before she could sit upright, Jasper Yale leaned over, clasping her wrists together, pressing them behind her.
"How does it feel to meet someone behind my back?"
"We weren’t on a date, just having a meal; besides, why would I do something behind your back?" Did she need to report to him when she ate with someone else?
"Yelena Hughes, you’re not loyal as a girlfriend."
"Young Master, you were just joking earlier, but now that Dr. Chandler is not here, have you gotten into the role?"
Yelena Hughes’s words were airy, not taking it seriously at all.
Jasper Yale hugged her, his gaze visibly changing, his usually cool face was soaked with a smile.
"Didn’t you say? Once I broke up with Nancy Alden, you’d be with me."
"And then?"
Hailey Jenkins turned her head to glance, chiming in, "Miss Hughes, Young Master moved out of The Summit Gardens overnight last night, congratulations."
What was there to congratulate her for?
She was stunned.
Jasper Yale thought she was so happy she was speechless.
He held her tightly in his arms, "What can a doctor help you solve? Remember to come to me if there’s anything, you have to always keep this in mind."
Yelena Hughes couldn’t speak for a long while; Jasper Yale didn’t see much joy in her eyes.
He squinted slightly, "You’re quite ungrateful, I’ve solved things on my end, do you want to go back on your word?"
"Young Master means you’ve really ended things with Miss Alden?"
"Yes."
Yelena Hughes showed surprise, could it really be because of her?
His face got closer and closer to her; clearly, he wanted to kiss her, Yelena Hughes hurriedly turned away.
He kissed her cheek, without retreating, his lips stayed on her face, tightly enveloping her with his breaths.
The two people ahead simultaneously looked into the rearview mirror, seeing Young Master Yale seemingly pounce on Yelena Hughes.
Yelena Hughes’s small hand resisted against his chest, preventing him from getting closer.
"Come over to mine," his voice sounded by her ear.
Her pupils gradually dilated, "No, I need to go home."
Jasper Yale kissed Yelena Hughes’s earlobe again, "I’ve already spoken with Chandler; he can consider the operation. I’ve sent your sister’s medical records to him. You’ll have a video call later, okay?"
His words, along with his breath, penetrated into Yelena Hughes’s eardrum; he knew given such a big bait, she was unwilling to not bite.
"You wouldn’t lie to me, would you?"
"Do you think I lack the ability to persuade him to take action?"
Of course not.
Yelena Hughes glanced at him, "I can make the video call right here."
Jasper Yale leaned back against the seat, speaking lazily, "You seem not sincerely concerned about your sister’s matter, handling it perfunctorily?"
Yelena Hughes had no choice but to heed his words, Hailey Jenkins directed the driver ahead to turn.
He had stayed here last night, as Yelena Hughes followed him into the house, she smelled a scent inside; it was a floral fragrance.
The door was pushed shut behind her, as Yelena Hughes was about to ask where the light was, she was forced against the door panel by a force.
Her back ached from the collision, and Jasper Yale lifted her whole frame up, her upper body hanging, legs having no place to go.
Jasper Yale squeezed forward, Yelena Hughes feared she might fall, so she could only wrap her legs tightly around his waist.
