"Okay, sorry Uncle Shawn, I’m too... I’ll go to the restroom real quick, please wait for me." Tiana felt a bit guilty.
She just heard Shawn Lyle’s stomach growl. He had gone through the trouble to bring her here, yet she didn’t even invite him for a meal.
It was really unreasonable.
"Sure, I’ll wait, no rush."
She quickly headed to the restroom. When she got to the mirror, she could see her own eyes and face clearly. Her eyes were swollen bigger than walnuts, and her face was visibly puffier.
The dark circles were extremely noticeable, as if possessed by something, especially the bloodshot eyes, which were somewhat frightening on closer inspection.
She never expected that she would look like this.
