The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System-Chapter 77 - "I’ll rip your shoulders from your body"
Chapter 77: 77 - "I’ll rip your shoulders from your body"
Qingyi’s sword tore through the air in a horizontal slash, its thunderous aura transforming into a blade-shaped arc of Qi that flew towards the thugs of the Red Claw gang, expanding rapidly.
That was the second form of the Tempest Monarch Sword Art. Unlike the first form, which was a focused thrust, the second was broader, designed to kill as many enemies as possible.
Desperate screams echoed among the ranks of criminals as Qingyi’s attack reached them, tearing through flesh and bone with ease.
A bloody mess spread across the temple courtyard. But he ignored all this, his eyes turning to Yueli and Elize.
The purple-haired beauty was already out of danger, her eyelids slowly opening.
"H-husband..." she called out as Qingyi approached, her eyes watering and her body trembling as she tried to get up.
"Circulate your energy and recover. I’ve still got some pigs to slaughter..." he forced the gentlest, most loving smile he could muster, trying to suppress all the anger boiling up inside him.
It was difficult, but he didn’t want any of his women to suffer from his murderous intent.
’I’m sorry...’ he thought as his eyes met Yueli’s.
None of this would have happened if he hadn’t simply tried to take her at that very moment.
In fact, they wouldn’t even have come close to that danger if he hadn’t insisted on going with her.
He was foolish, but he didn’t torture himself too much about it either, there was no way he could have guessed.
The world of cultivation was dangerous, and he would never even leave the Foundation Realm if all he did with his life was hide and be afraid to make any decisions.
"Ah..." he sighed heavily as he turned his back on the two beauties and walked towards the temple gate.
The only way to truly guarantee the safety of his women was to completely exterminate his enemies the first chance he got.
Leaving the temple, he looked towards the forest.
"What are you waiting for? Do you still have more worms to send to their deaths?" Qingyi stopped his steps and soon two figures emerged from the depths of the forest.
The first was Hei Langya, a short, overweight man who wore a cruel smile and was at the fourth stage of the Foundation Realm.
The second was Hei Yeming, a little taller than his brother and at the fifth stage of the Foundation Realm.
"You must be the bastard who killed our brother, right? Say your name, I’ll make those whores write it in blood on your pedestal while we have fun with them!" Hei Langya growled, drawing his sword.
A flaming, hateful aura swept over him.
Qingyi didn’t care about that insult, it was beneath him.
His eyes remained cold and his smile strangely friendly as he spoke: "I’ll rip your shoulders from your body and leave you to die, bleeding like a pig."
His voice was calm and gentle, but still brimming with murderous intent, enough to make even hideous criminals like the Hei brothers take steps backwards.
"You damn pretty face!" Yeming roared, gathering his courage and also drawing his sword.
Two powerful Foundation Realm auras fell on Qingyi.
He didn’t even blink under that power. His own Qi exploded from his body, forcing the Hei brothers to take another step back.
Inside, he was a little worried. They remained too calm, even though they had realized his full power.
Calming his breathing, he used the first form of the Tempest Monarch Sword Art, lunging towards them.
"Watch out!" The two brothers raised their swords at the same time, forming a barrier of flames.
Qingyi’s Qi took the form of a giant sword tip as it tore through the ground and hit the flaming barrier.
A bang echoed. The flame barrier held Qingyi’s attack for a single second before giving way in an explosion of smoke.
Taking advantage of the thick curtain, Qingyi activated his draconic eyes and Lightning Steps. His body tore towards Hei Yeming.
"Son of a bitch!" Yeming barely raised his sword in time, parrying Qingyi’s blow.
His feet sank into the ground up to his heels as he was pushed back dozens of meters.
Qingyi was about to continue his attack when his senses screamed in alarm.
Hei Langya appeared beside him, his sword surrounded by scorching Qi, slashing towards his back.
The handsome young man turned his body. The scorching blade passed inches from him, cutting only a few strands of hair before hitting the ground.
"I said..." Qingyi gritted his teeth, his Qi reserves shuddering as he once again used the first form of the Tempest Monarch Sword Art.
"Ugh!..." Langya grunted as he tried to defend himself.
His arms went numb and his body was launched like a cannonball, bouncing off the ground several times until it hit a tree.
He coughed up large gulps of blood and reached into his pocket, pulling out a small spirit pill.
"You’ll regret being born, you bastard!" he roared as he brought the pill to his mouth, but it was too late.
Qingyi appeared above him, grabbing and crushing Langya’s fist. The pill fell to the ground along with bones and pieces of flesh.
"I said I’d rip your shoulders off, didn’t I?" Qingyi’s eyes were bloodshot as he grabbed Langya’s wrists and stomped on his chest.
He had no mercy.
His feet sank into the bandit’s ribcage as he pulled on his arms. The skin tore and the bones cracked as they were forcefully separated from the rest of the body.
"Argh... FUCK! STOP! STOP, MOTHERFUCKER! NOOOO!" Langya screamed desperately, but Qingyi ignored it.
For him, the pain Langya felt was only a fraction of what Elize had suffered.
A loud crack echoed as his collarbone finally broke, his shoulders being disconnected from his torso, an explosion of blood taking over where they used to be.
Langya’s screams echoed throughout the temple.
Yueli, who was still looking after Elize and had no view of the battle, couldn’t help but shudder at those horrendous sounds.
Was Qingyi really that furious?
