The Cursed Triplet Alphas' Fated Mate-Chapter 27: Conclusion
Chapter 27: 27: Conclusion
Landon
"That’s dangerous. Once we reveal her as our true mate, we won’t be able to take it back." Angelo pointed out but I could tell by the expression on his face right now that he was starting to seriously think about it.
"Yes, but don’t you see that it’s the only option we have left in this situation. If we chose to still hide the truth away, the throne would really get given to Hugo. All what we’ve been working on would be for nothing, and we’d be princes for the rest of our lives. We’d even have to answer to Hugo on moving forward, and i’m sure no one wants that." I explained solely while looking between my brothers.
Angelo was nodding his head slowly, clearly still thinking about it. Meanwhile, Damon was clearly still vehemently against the suggestion.
"That’s a death sentence and we all know it. Revealing that she’s a mate would have her killed before we’d be able to react." He barked and I nodded in understanding.
"I’m not saying that’s not possible. However, are we gonna let that happen? Three of us combined together is way stronger than father. We should definitely be able to protect her from him." I insisted before turning towards Angelo who was currently combing his long hair out of his face.
"What do you think?" I asked him and he shrugged before emptying the content of the whisker in his mouth, then he spoke.
"That’s certainly better than getting married and mated to our betrothed,"
Damon snorted and folded his arms. "You just wanna fuck her, that is all!" He accused but Angelo only rolled his eyes and pushed off the ground, then he walked over to the bar and pulled out a bottle of scotch this time.
"That’s definitely not true. You know I never let my personal emotions affect any logical decision that I’m supposed to make." Angelo continued, and he was definitely saying the truth right now, but Damon rolled his eyes again.
"Your emotions definitely affected your mind this time. You and Landon’s minds. If you two are in your right mints, you won’t be suggesting this," he accused and I felt myself bristle a little as I also got to my feet.
"Okay, what do you suggest we do then?" I asked as I folded my arms. When minutes stretched out between us, I rolled my eyes and leveled him with a knowing look.
"See?" I drawled but he only scoffed and turned away, making the sides of my lips twitch in amusement, especially when my gaze locked with Angelo’s.
"And don’t think we didn’t notice the way you were literally undressing her with your eyes tonight. If we hadn’t appeared in the garden when we did, you might have kissed her." Angelo drawled this time and as expected, Damon stiffened and his ears instantly reddened from behind.
"You don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not Landon who only thinks with his dick, and I’m not Angelo who fell for our mate since the first day he saw her. You both know that." He scoffed as he finally turned around, but Angelo and I laughed after exchanging a look.
"Granted, you might not be either, but you were definitely undressing her tonight, you were mad Hugo had his hands on her.
He folded his sems. "That doesn’t mean anything, you goals. I just didn’t want Hugo to hurt her because he definitely works for father." He responded but I only snorted, still not believing him.
"Stop messing around, guys. Let’s come to a conclusion fast." He groaned out this time and we nodded after sobering up, since he does have a point.
"So, what’s the conclusion now?" I asked as I clapped my hands and looked between them.
"I say we go with Landon’s plan." Angelo finally breathed oou, then we both glanced at Damon who had his brows furrowed.
"Wait, guys... does this mean she’d have to become our wife and Luna??!" He asked while looking between us.
And we both nodded, he let out a crackle as he rose to his full height.
"Yeah, no. I reject this plan then. A hybrid for a wife? A luna? Are you two using your brains at all?" He demanded, sounding very perplexed.
"Damon, stop being difficult." Angelo said with a sigh and Damon bristled, glaring daggers at the two of us.
"Would our kingdom even accept a luna like that?"
I rolled my eyes this time. "Damon, please be serious: they don’t know she’s a hybrid, we’re able to tell because of our extra strong sense of smell." I responded and Damon still shook his head.
"That’s still unacceptable though. I can’t call someone like that a mate of mine. To top it all, I’m not even attracted to her. I only want to break the curse and that is all."
Angelo held the bridge of his nose as he spoke. "Okay, would you rather mate and get married to your betrothed? That’s what you want?"
Damon looked beyond unhappy as he responded. "Definitely not."
"Then stop whining and come to a conclusion. Pick a choice between the two options. So, which is it gonna be?"
He let out a longer sigh as he dragged a hand over his face, then he sat down as he nodded, a disappointed and resigned look across his face.
"I guess I also support Landon’s plan." He paused for a moment before adding. "Seems like indeed, beggars really can’t be choosers."
"Good, which means we’re all on the same page." Angelo said as he stretched out a little. I hummed as I did the same
"We should start a lot of plans then, since we’d literally be having a wedding in about a week." Damon grumbled and I nodded.
"Ah, yes. You’re right. The only problem I can foresee right now is our mate refusing this union."
Damon rolled his eyes as he folded his arms. "’Not like she has a choice anyway."
