A sharp slap landing on my face was what pulled me out of my sleep as I gasped while jolting awake, right before cold water was dumped over my face, making me choke on the water. As I quickly sat up while choking hard, my eyes settled on the people responsible for waking me up this way.

Adele, Gina and Angelo’s betrothed. They were all standing by my bedside and I was trying to wonder why they were right here in my bedroom. That was the moment it hit me that I didn’t sleep in my bed last night. I remember crying then passing out at a point, but right now I was in my bed, under the covers.

I peeked underneath the sheets and let out a relieved sigh to see that I was still in the clothes I wore last night. But who was the one that brought me here last night? I haven’t the slightest Ife’s and I’d really like to know.

"You fool! Get off the bed this instant!" Adele was the one to yell this time around, dragging me out of my thoughts. At that moment, she poured another glass of ice water in my face.

"What the fuck is this? Why are you all in here?" I demanded angrily as I looked between all of them.

Adele was gloating as she emerged from the back of the man that just prevented me from beating her to death.

"Well, if you must know, this is our personal body guard." She informed me with a proud grin, while pointing at Gina and Angelo’s betrothed bride as well.

"Since I know that you’re quite strong, I know you might try to put up a fight, so we decided to bring him along. And look, you can’t hurt me even if you clearly want to. I know this is the kind of thing you’d hate," she grinned as she continued to speak.

I let out a sigh. What did I ever do to deserve this? I’d like a completely quiet morning after all that I went through last night and not this.

"Please get lost from my room, all of you," I snapped as I rise from my bed and began to mop my hair with a dry part of my blanket.

They all had their hands folded as they spoke. "And why the fuck would we do that? When we’re here to tell you something." Gina spoke this time and I scoffed while rolling my eyes.

"Well? If you must know and in case you haven’t decoded it already, I don’t want to hear what any thing dense bitches like you three are interested in telling me, now if you can just get lost from my room right now, I’d definitely feel much better right now." I snapped at the three of them almost immediately,

"We’re all leaving in a bit because being in your presence is making me start to feel sick!" Angelo’s betrothed bride snapped and I laughed.

"Then you shouldn’t have come in here in the first place, and you’re all smart enough to have come with this body guard, else I’d have shown you some cool tricks with my fists." I informed them.

"Well...!That’s too bad, hm?" Gina drawled.

"We’ll only have this body guard on us till a week. After that, if we ever get attacked by you, that’s automatically treason and you’ll get locked up immediately, because we’ll no longer be known as betrothed brides, we’ll be lunas by then." Adele spoke this time.

I regarded her for a few seconds before bursting into laughter. "Still feeling delusional, huh?"

Gina laughed and stepped forward. "That’s the truth, honey and it’s exactly what we came here to inform you of. In a week, we’ll not only be getting married to the princes, we’ll become their lunas as well." She paused.

"And you, their supposed fated mate, would end up with nothing."

I looked between them for a few seconds before snorting. "Yeah, I don’t believe any of what you’re saying.

Angelo let out a laugh before stretching out her hand. "Why do we have engagement rings given to us by the princes this morning?"

I looked at the ring and saw matching ones on the other two women’s hands.

"I still don’t believe you, you’re all clearly too crazy and delusional. The Prince’s would never actually marry you not to talk of making you their luna." I Informed them as I let out another laugh.

"It’s the truth." This time, it wasn’t one of the three women, it was Damon’s voice and it came from the doorway of my room.

I quickly whirled around and saw him and his brothers in my doorway.

"See?" I turned back to stare at Adele, feeling pleased with myself.

"I was agreeing with Adele, not you, Sue." Damon called out and I stiffened, my mouth falling open from shock.

"We’re accepted our betrothed and would be getting married to them in a week. They’ll also be our lunas," Angelo spoke this time and my eyes widened as a hollow feeling settler deep within my stomach.

"Oh." I finally whispered just as last night’s discussion flashed before my mind.

I hadn’t expected them to make a decision this fast, and definitely not a decision like this.

So this means now I won’t be getting forced into a marriage with them either. That’s a relief and should make me feel happy, right?
