The Dark Extra: Awakening of SSS-Skill Demon Emperor Legacy-Chapter 102: Milenia Pregnancy
Chapter 102: Milenia Pregnancy
Two months later.
S-Rank Dungeon.
Agares, along with Milenia and Aoi, kept walking through the dungeon hallway. Milenia had regained consciousness quickly—she had woken up while Agares was fighting the boss monster on the 66th floor.
Agares had to admit that with Milenia’s presence, their dungeon exploration had become much faster.
Before, it would take him one to two weeks to clear a floor, but now, with Milenia, he could conquer three floors within two weeks.
But that only applied to the floors Agares had already cleared before. From floor 75 onward, it took him longer.
The theme of floors 70 to 80 was the animal world. In line with the theme, the boss monsters on each floor were animals mutated into beasts.
The floor bosses themselves were level 8, as were the mini bosses. The small monsters were still lower in level—level 7. With Milenia’s help, Agares was able to finish all of them easily.
[DING! Congratulations, Agares! You have defeated the floor boss]
[Name: Great White Shark Overlord]
[Affinity: Water]
[Level: 8]
[+2500 EXP]
[EXP: 448500/460800] [+2500]
As usual, Agares received half of the total EXP earned. When he turned to check on the others, he saw Milenia and Aoi had gained less EXP.
’That’s okay. This is only the 76th floor. There are still many more for us to explore.’
Aoi gained her share of EXP and was just a little away from completing her first evolution and entering the second. She needed about 300 more EXP to level up.
Agares squatted and looked at Aoi’s system panel. Yes, Aoi only needed around 300 EXP more. Since their journey was still long, Agares felt confident she would gain many evolutions this time.
"Don’t worry. You’ll get it soon."
Aoi nodded and jumped back onto Agares’s shoulder. Agares turned to the side and saw Milenia standing, leaning against the wall of the boss room.
From time to time, he noticed she looked nauseous and uncomfortable in her stomach.
He became curious and stepped closer to check her condition. When she turned her head toward him, Agares was shocked to see how pale her face looked.
"Milenia?!"
Agares caught her as she collapsed into his arms. Her hands and body were sweaty, but she didn’t have a fever or anything like that. Aoi jumped forward and tried to heal her by touching Milenia’s cheek with her fox tail.
Aoi’s ability activated—the blue patterns on her white fur glowed brightly. Agares stood still, letting Aoi do her job.
After a while, Aoi stopped her magic when she realized it wasn’t working. With all her magical power, she still couldn’t heal Milenia.
"I’m sorry. I don’t know what’s wrong with her," Aoi said.
"Hmm... maybe she’s just exhausted?"
"Could be. We’ve been going through floor after floor. She might not be used to it."
Aoi immediately agreed with Agares. That’s what Agares had been thinking too—they had been facing floor challenges non-stop.
Milenia, who had just recently joined the challenges, might not be used to it.
Agares nodded. He decided to return to the city and let Milenia rest. If magic couldn’t heal her, then her fainting was definitely caused by something medical.
He activated the teleportation token and set the location to floor 55, specifically to Midgard City. Agares carried Milenia in his arms as they teleported out of the dungeon to the city.
In a flash of blue light, Agares, Milenia, and Aoi arrived in Midgard City. As soon as they landed, they were greeted by the crystal stone guards.
The two guards looked shocked when they saw Milenia passed out in Agares’s arms.
"What happened?" Nan asked.
"Milenia fainted and she’s sick. Do you have a healer?" Agares asked.
"A healer? Yes, we do," Nan replied.
Agares nodded and told one of them to go fetch the healer since magical healing wasn’t working.
He assumed her condition must be caused by something medical, like stomach pain or something similar.
They arrived at Milenia’s residence. Two guards opened the gate immediately. A maid opened the front door and asked about Milenia’s condition. Agares shook his head—he didn’t know anything.
He carried Milenia upstairs to the second floor and laid her down on the bed. Several maids came to remove her clothes and change her into sleepwear. Agares stepped out of the room.
"Will Milenia be alright?" Aoi asked.
"I don’t know. She fainted without any clear reason."
After waiting for five minutes, the maids came out of Milenia’s room carrying a navy-blue dress. Seeing that, Agares and Aoi quickly went inside and found Milenia lying on the bed in pajamas.
Agares stood next to her, gently holding her hand. It still felt damp with sweat, which made him even more worried.
Not long after, a female healer arrived at Milenia’s home, just as Agares had requested. The maid brought her upstairs where she found Milenia still lying unconscious, sweaty, and breathing heavily.
"Open the windows. Let some fresh air in," the healer, a demonkin woman, said.
Agares and the other maids did the same—opened the windows and pulled the curtains to let the air in.
The healer began examining Milenia carefully, checking her pulse, mouth, and pupils. But she didn’t find anything strange.
"I want you all to leave. I need to examine her body without clothes."
Agares and Aoi nodded, along with the maids. One by one, they left the room until Agares was the last to walk out. He closed the door and stood in front of it, waiting for the examination to finish.
Ten minutes later, the door opened and the female healer appeared with a big smile on her face. Agares looked at her, shocked and confused.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Are you her husband?" the healer asked.
"What? Of course not."
"Really? Then whose child is she carrying?" the healer asked.
Agares gasped. He never imagined hearing that Milenia was pregnant. He stood there, stunned, trying to think of any possibilities.
The maids looked excited and happy upon hearing the news of Milenia’s pregnancy.
"She’s awake now, but don’t ask her too many things."
He stepped inside and saw Milenia sitting up, leaning against the headboard. Her lips lifted into a smile when she saw Agares.
"Congratulations, Agares. You’re going to be a father."
"That child... is mine?" Agares asked.
"You’re the only one I allowed inside me."
