"I’ll move the car in front to the side, Zhang Qiang, you drive our car up front." Xu Yuxi said while running.
"Alright, Sister Xu, hurry up!" Zhang Qiang shouted anxiously. In the rearview mirror, they could see plenty of zombies gathering behind them. Ahead, some zombies were also moving in their direction.
Xu Yuxi moved the car aside at the fastest speed, and Zhang Qiang timely drove up beside her, urging her to get in the car quickly. Some zombies were already about to reach the car’s rear.

Xu Yuxi and Zhou Shiqiu didn’t quite catch what that meant at first. But with the ensuing crashes, plus the occasional grotesque zombie face, or zombie limbs and intestines stuck to the windows, they understood.
Zhang Qiang drove the car, rushing forward, knocking aside or flying over all the zombies blocking the way, shouting aloud as he went: "Sister Xu, this car is something. Has it been modified? Truly worthy of the title of bumper car king, a fit ride for the king!"
Xu Yuxi and Zhou Shiqiu were both shaken until they were dizzy.
"It’s been modified," Xu Yuxi managed to say, suppressing the urge to vomit.
"King of the road, king of the road, king of the road..." Zhou Shiqiu was also seeing stars, almost ready to puke.
Finally, as they saw the zombie horde receding in the distance, Zhang Qiang exhaled a long breath of relief. They’d broken through and could relax now. "Around twenty miles ahead, there’s a rest stop where we can take a break, refuel, and you guys can use the restroom," Zhang Qiang said while driving.
"It really is about twenty miles, how did you know?" Zhou Shiqiu asked in surprise after estimating with a map.
"I studied the route, plus I have a great memory," Zhang Qiang said nonchalantly. "But I’m still a school failure; I’m not interested in the stuff they teach in school. What I’m interested in, they don’t teach."
"You’re quite impressive," Zhou Shiqiu marveled.
"Just a minor skill," Zhang Qiang thought for a bit, "Tonight, let’s find a slightly open spot to rest. We’ll exit the highway at the next county, take a detour for a few miles to another entrance. If we can’t find a suitable spot at night, we’ll rest at the highway’s emergency stop area. There aren’t many zombies on the highway, and if anything happens, we can quickly drive away."
"Alright," Xu Yuxi and Zhou Shiqiu agreed.
After reaching the rest stop, Xu Yuxi and Zhou Shiqiu got out to check it out and eliminate any dangers. Zhang Qiang also got out, taking a steel pipe from his waist-high hiking backpack.
