The Destiny Villainess Wants Me To Work!-Chapter 84: Biggest Fish!
Su Mo folded his arms thoughtfully. "Do you know who their biggest customer is?"
He already understood that dismantling the small operators would take time. Even if he removed a few gangs here and there, others would appear sooner or later.
If he wanted to clean the dark side of Ankang Biotech quickly, he needed to start with the biggest and dirtiest fish first.
Once the largest fish was dragged out of the water, the smaller ones would become much easier to deal with.
Leng Shuang nodded. "The biggest client is the Mustrump family from Noerdon Country."
Su Mo narrowed his eyes slightly.
Leng Shuang continued explaining.
"Last year alone, they purchased more than two hundred children under the age of fifteen."
She spoke calmly, but there was a faint trace of disgust in her voice.
"Wang Cai and Wen Hang had personally negotiated that deal."
Su Mo felt a wave of revulsion rise in his chest, but he remained silent and let her continue.
"This year, the Mustrump family increased their order. They demanded more than five hundred children."
"To meet that quota, relying on the Black Bull Gang alone wasn’t enough. They needed additional suppliers. So they came up with another plan of placing a bounty on He Xiong."
Su Mo understood immediately. "To force him to accept the terms through fear?"
"Yes," Leng Shuang replied. "They used the name of the Mustrump family to scare him. He Xiong believed that the real masterminds behind the Jiangnan organ trafficking network were those powerful foreign forces."
"Once he thought he had offended them, he panicked."
"He agreed to increase the supply of children immediately."
When she reached this point, there was a slight look of dissatisfaction on her face.
"Their plan worked perfectly. The only thing they never expected... was that the killer who accepted the job would be so efficient."
Su Mo raised an eyebrow slightly.
"They intended to cancel the bounty after the pressure had done its job."
"But before they could withdraw it," Leng Shuang continued calmly, "He Xiong was already dead."
For a brief moment, a trace of smugness appeared on her face. After all, she had been the one who completed that mission.
However, after learning the full truth behind the bounty, her mood had become far less pleasant.
If anything, the interrogation had only deepened her anger.
Right now, she wanted nothing more than to kill both Wen Hang and Wen Jun the moment they stopped being useful.
Su Mo tapped the table lightly with his fingers.
"Mustrump family... do you know about them?"
He searched his memory but couldn’t recall any mention of such a family in Ye Chen’s storyline.
Then again, he had only arrived in this world recently. His understanding of this world was still very limited.
Leng Shuang thought for a moment before answering. "What I know is that the Mustrump family is one of the major controllers of the underworld in Noerdon Country."
"They dominate a large part of the illegal trade there, along with another mafia family."
She continued, "Their biggest rival... the Ausburn family."
Su Mo’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"Ausburn family?" He murmured. "A familiar name."
In Ye Chen’s original storyline, one of the heroines actually came from the Ausburn family. The conflict between Gu Xuan and Ye Chen had also begun within Ausburn territory.
However, Su Mo quickly pushed those thoughts aside.
"Whatever," he said, shaking his head. "Do you know where the Black Bull Gang’s base is?"
"Yes, Master." Leng Shuang nodded immediately.
"That’s good." Su Mo’s tone remained calm. "I want to deal with them today."
Leng Shuang didn’t question the order.
"You’re a master of disguise," Su Mo continued. "So I’ll leave the acting part to you."
She nodded again, although she didn’t fully understand what he meant.
Then, in the next moment, she suddenly froze. Her reflection in the mirror began to change.
The facial structure shifted, her hair color altered. Within seconds, her appearance had completely transformed.
The woman standing there was gone. Now she looked exactly like Wen Hang.
Leng Shuang’s eyes widened slightly.
’Master is amazing.’
She immediately realised what Su Mo had done.
Su Mo spoke calmly, as if this arrangement were natural. "For the next few days, you will use Wen Hang’s identity. Work together with Secretary Lin and start reorganising the company."
"I want Ankang Biotech completely under your control within a week."
Then he added the final sentence.
"The next CEO of Ankang Biotech will be you, Leng Shuang."
However, instead of feeling joy, Leng Shuang looked stunned.
She had expected many things from Su Mo when she decided to work for him. Dangerous missions, killing enemies, and so on.
But becoming the CEO of a hundred-million-yuan company had never crossed her mind.
"Master... are you serious?" She hesitated before continuing. "What if I mess things up?"
She spoke honestly. "The only things I’m good at are killing, fighting, disguise, intelligence gathering, and anti-reconnaissance."
She spread her hands slightly. "How am I supposed to run an entire company?"
Su Mo waved his hand casually. "That’s exactly why you’re suitable."
Leng Shuang looked even more confused.
Su Mo smiled faintly. "The kind of CEO people describe in textbooks doesn’t exist in the real world." He added after a pause. "At least I haven’t seen one."
"What they do describe is closer to a manager." He spoke calmly.
"In reality, a CEO is someone who can survive in a ruthless environment."
"Strategy, pressure, information control, removing enemies... those things matter far more."
He looked directly at her. "In a competitive world, the skills of an assassin are often more useful than the theories of a business graduate."
Leng Shuang was completely bewildered.
Seeing that she still didn’t fully understand, Su Mo didn’t bother explaining further. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Instead, he turned to look at the unconscious Wen Hang. With a brief gesture, his appearance also began to change.
"You’ll understand what I mean when you experience it."
---
When they finally left the office, several employees looked up curiously.
The new owner, Su Mo, was walking beside their boss, Wen Hang.
What attracted the most attention, however, was the large suitcase Wen Hang was carrying.
Some of the senior managers exchanged puzzled glances.
They had expected an internal meeting about the company’s future.
Instead, the boss was suddenly leaving the building with the new owner.
Still, none of them dared to step forward and ask questions.
A few employees also noticed something else.
The red-haired secretary who had accompanied Su Mo earlier was nowhere to be seen.
Meanwhile, Su Mo, Lin Yaorui, and the disguised Leng Shuang walked calmly toward the exit.
Once they were outside the building, Lin Yaorui turned toward Su Mo.
"Mr Su," she said politely, "I will take my leave now."
"I’ll begin preparing the team tonight. Tomorrow I’ll contact Miss Leng so we can start the restructuring work as soon as possible."
Su Mo nodded with a faint smile.
"Do you want me to drop you off at your company?"
Lin Yaorui shook her head.
"No need. I’ve already called our company driver."
"I shouldn’t disturb your work any further."
In truth, she had a vague feeling that Su Mo was about to do something.
Especially since Leng Shuang had disappeared, and Wen Hang now seemed strangely cooperative. This should be fake, right?
Her eyes briefly moved toward the large suitcase.
A thought crossed her mind.
’Where did the real Wen Hang go...?’
But she quickly suppressed her curiosity. Some questions were better left unasked.
"Alright then, Secretary Lin."
Just then, her phone rang.
She glanced at the screen and saw an unfamiliar number.
After a moment of hesitation, she answered the call.
"Hello?"
A male voice came through the phone.
["Am I speaking with Miss Lin?"]
"Yes. And who is this?"
["This is Tang Hu from Jiangnan Police Station."]
Lin Yaorui frowned slightly.
["Your brother, Lin Han, gave us this number. He was detained for attempted robbery and molestation."]
["We’d like you to come to the station if possible."]
Lin Yaorui’s expression tightened. However, she did not refuse.
"I’ll be there soon."
She ended the call.
Su Mo had heard everything clearly, but his expression remained completely innocent.
"What’s wrong, Secretary Lin? You look troubled."
Lin Yaorui hesitated.
In the end, she simply shook her head.
"It’s nothing. Just some personal matters."
"There’s no need to trouble Mr Su."
Su Mo nodded and didn’t ask further.
"In that case... see you later."
He raised his hand in farewell.
Moments later, Su Mo and "Wen Hang" stepped into a black Porsche.
The engine roared to life.
Under the curious gazes of the company employees, the car slowly drove away from Ankang Biotech.
Lin Yaorui looked at the taillights of the car with pursed lips. While thinking about the call in her mind.
’Before, I was just a half- sister. Now, when the police caught him. He introduced me as her sister.’
’Just what do you want to do, Xiao Lin? Why did you change so much in just a few years?’
Feeling sad in her heart, Lin Yaorui called the company’s driver to not pick her up. She left for the police station by taxi.
There’s no way she would want anyone in the office to find out about her brother being a criminal.
