Chapter 663: Meeting The King Of Agartha

The entire kingdom of Agartha buzzed with the news of the arrival of another Dragon and his mate. First, it was Drayce and Seren, and now Arlan and Oriana. The palace servants were amazed to see the Gold Dragon, while the rest of the kingdom eagerly awaited the sight of another powerful divine beast soaring in Agartha’s skies. They had seen the Black and Red Dragons and wondered how majestic and powerful the Gold Dragon would appear in his beast form.

All arrangements were made for Arlan and Oriana in the guest residence, where a few elves were appointed as their servants. Given Arlan was a beast, no other beasts from any clan were kept around given his mate was with him.

Even in King Draven’s palace, most of the servants were elves since he had taken a mate. Any beast servants were lowly ones, suitable for menial tasks and working outside the king’s main residence.

A few female elves served Oriana, while the male ones attended to Arlan. Both were given separate chambers next to each other, allowing for privacy, much like their separate residences in their palace.

Once ready, Arlan and Oriana shared a meal prepared to their liking, reminiscent of the cuisine from the human kingdom. Afterward, Yorian, looking refreshed in a new set of clothes, appeared at the guest residence.

"Are you two ready to meet King Draven and his mate?" Yorian asked.

Arlan remained stoic, while Oriana nodded eagerly. "I can’t wait. Will Seren be there?"

"I’m not sure," Yorian replied. "But you will meet her sooner or later. Don’t be nervous; King Draven is not scary, and his mate is as fine a young lady as you. Moreover, Evanthe and Sierra will be there as well."

"I am not afraid, but maybe a little excited to see another Dragon?" Oriana commented, only to feel a chilling change in her husband’s aura.

She turned to look at him and saw he was not pleased with her excitement to see another beast.

’These beasts and their jealousy is just over the top.’

She held his hand, "I am just excited to see other supernaturals, alright. That doesn’t mean anything else. I am even excited to see King Draven’s mate, who is said to be a deity of the fire element. There is finally someone who is not from this world and reincarnated like me."

Arlan calmed down, knowing he had to be rational and not driven by his beast instincts. Just a little while longer until he marked Oriana and then left this kingdom.

They headed to the study of King Draven, where everyone was waiting for them. Erlos, a silver haired young elf, King Draven’s personal servant and the last pure high elf blood descendant left alive from the high elf clan, other than Yorian, who was a mix of high elf and moon elf clan, arrived to welcome them outside the study.

He guided them inside the study, where Oriana spotted a red-eyed man sitting in a high backrest chair behind his work desk and a beautiful green-eyed woman sitting next to him. Evanthe and Sierra were also present.

The red-eyed man and the woman next to him stood up along with the others to greet their esteemed guests.

Oriana eyed the red-eyed man and understood he was King Draven Aramis, the infamous Black Dragon she had read about in books, the one who had lived on this land for more than a thousand years. Seeing him in person felt like a dream. until few days back she was reading about him as if he was some ancient creature from supposed myths and now she was seeing him alive in front of her.

She could not deny, he was just as described in the books, truly impressive, with an existence that felt domineering and authoritative. No wonder he ruled over all the powerful supernaturals. Totally deserving for the title of the King of supernaturals.

She wondered if all Dragons were crafted by deities to have such exceptional appearances. Arlan, Drayce, and now this King of Agartha. Oriana swore no one matched these Dragons in their perfect appearance—good for the eyes to behold, with powerful auras surrounding them, making them appear like otherworldly beings. Demoness inside her was delightful and as well soured with a pride to have one of them as her husband.

She then observed the beautiful green-eyed woman with long mahogany hair, supposedly Draven’s mate, Ember Aramis. ’Such beautiful eyes,’ Oriana thought, feeling as if this wasn’t the first time she had seen her. There was something familiar about this woman that she couldn’t quite place.

"Welcome to Agartha, Prince Arlan, Princess Oriana," Draven’s deep and dignified voice echoed in the study.

"Thank you for the hospitality, King Draven," Arlan replied, accepting the greeting with a polite nod.

Meanwhile, Oriana and Ember were looking at each other, lost in their thoughts.

"I feel like I’ve known you for a long time, Princess Oriana," Ember commented and turned to Sierra. "Is it because of what you told me, that we were friends in a previous life?"

Sierra nodded. "That can be the reason. The Princess of the demon realm and the deity of fire were close friends and always looked out for each other."

"No wonder I felt the same as well, Queen Ember," Oriana commented.

"I am not a Queen. You can simply call me Ember," Ember added.

This puzzled Oriana. The mate of the King of this kingdom should be the Queen, shouldn’t she? It was equivalent to being a King’s wife according to human customs. Did it work differently here in the kingdom of supernaturals?

"Oriana, you can do as Lady Ember wishes," Yorian said, without explaining why Ember was not the Queen. "You were friends in the previous life, so you can continue like this in this life as well."

Oriana nodded. She had already agreed to be Seren’s friend, and having another one who was also a Dragon’s mate was something to welcome. Both had the same thought in mind—maybe they would remember something about their previous lives.

"Please have a seat," Draven spoke.

Though there was tension between the two beasts, they maintained their calm and acted rationally. They had to discuss the marking ceremony and the possible threat coming Oriana’s way.
