Chapter 778: Revelations From Xyron

With the help of snowflake’s powers, all of them reached the Demon realm as they appeared straight to Esmeray’s residence, the rear part of the residence which now looked alive with the waterfall and greenery around.

"This is Esmeray’s residence. Please, treat it like your own home," Oriana informed the ones who were new here. She still found it difficult to call herself as Esmeray and call this home as hers, but she was sure eventually she would come to the terms with it.

"Xyron must have been alerted by our arrival here. He would be here soon," Arlan added as now he was aware of how the demon realm worked. "Till then we can rest as this teleportation across the realms is tiresome."

Drayce nodded and turned to Evanthe, "Mother, let me guide you to rest."

"I am alright," Evanthe assured.

Just then the door of the rear of the residence opened and Xyron stepped out of it. As expected he was aware of Oriana’s arrival.

He quickly knelt on one knee and bowed his head, "Princess Esmeray, welcome back to the demon realm."

Oriana hummed and said, "Xyron, we don’t have much time. We are here to get some answers about the Heaven realm from you."

"I would answer whatever you want to know, my lady," Xyron assured. Just as he stood up and raised his head, he noticed the familiar figure in simple light color clothes and his eyes widened.

He immediately bowed and said, "Deity of water, please accept my greetings."

Evanthe simply hummed, as she didn’t know how else to react, having no memories of this said title.

Arlan raised a brow at Xyron, "You didn’t seem this much polite with the God of War."

Xyron looked at him as he stood up, "God of war was always the Demon realm’s biggest enemy as he was the one to lead the war from the Heaven realm. I didn’t find any reason to be polite with my enemy when we met the first time."

"I do not expect any politeness from you, but rather some answers," Draven said coldly, "which I believe you can and your brain is not rusty being confined inside the Demon realm for eternity," Draven commented as he offered a cold gaze to Xyron.

"How my brain functions, it depends on how politely God of War behaves inside the Demon realm," Xyron commented.

Both acted as if others didn’t exist in front of their enmity from the past. They could only sigh at it as the two powerful being were mocking each other.

Draven who was already at the edge as his mate was taken away, his red eyes darkened, "if you won’t behave at this moment, once I retrieve my sword, your head would be the first one to roll on the ground."

Before Xyron could say anything more, Arlan signalled Oriana, who intervened, "Xyron, we are here for something really important. It’s time to give rest to the demon realms’ past enmity with the gods."

Xyron immediately obeyed her and stopped as he and Draven shared mocking glares.

They all headed to the drawing hall of the residence which had a special throne-like chair for Oriana to sit while other chairs were meant for others to sit.

The servants brought refreshment for them, that included the potions to rid their bodies of the fatigue.

As everyone was comfortable and ready, Oriana first explained to Xyron about deities taking away the three women and about the banished deities from the heaven realm.

She then instructed, "Xyron, tell us everything about the heaven realm and the deities there. Especially a few deities- the deity water, earth and fire and also about the god of war."

Xyron understood the gravity of the situation and began, "Princess, I can tell you about the heaven realm and all the deities till the last war between both realms. But the events that happened after we were sealed inside the Demon realm, I have no knowledge about them. I am not aware why these four deities are not in the heaven realm but are in the mortal world."

Oriana hummed and said, "Then you can just tell us about whatever you know."

"When the heaven realm was formed, it was ruled by the heavenly emperor, Solaris the Supreme. He was the most powerful being in all three realms...." he continued to explain about Solaris and later came to an important part. "He had one daughter, the deity of water, Goddess Evanthe, the most cherished deity as well as one of the most powerful being in the heaven realm," he then looked at Evanthe, "Deity of water, you were the princess of Heaven realm and was supposed to marry the king of heaven realm to become a queen. But I am surprised to know that you are no longer in the heaven realm."

"Supposed to marry the king of heaven realm?" Drayce asked.

Xyron hummed, "The Emperor had decided that whoever would be the next King after him, his daughter would marry him, but...." He looked conflicted.

"Do not hide anything," Evanthe said in a serious tone.

"Back then we heard that you had refused to marry the king, because you had someone else in your heart..." Xyron replied hesitantly. "...someone you could not marry."

Evanthe understood. "Him?"

"Yes, the Lord of Darkness," Xyron confirmed.

Evanthe was not surprised to hear it. As by now she was well aware that she and Him were acquaintances from her past from the heaven realm even before she met Him in the mortal world again. With all her memories from the heaven realm, she had lost her memories with Him as well when she was a Deity.

She only remembered Him from their encounter in the mortal world where once He saved her and tended to her injuries. During that short period with Him she fell for Him all over again.

As Evanthe was lost in her own thoughts, everyone kept quiet so as to not disturb her. Once she was out of her thoughts, she looked at Xyron, with a calm and composed gaze, "What about the other three deities we mentioned?"

Xyron looked at Draven, indicating he was going to start from the God of war. Draven was equally curious to know his past and his relationship with Ember in her past life.
