Chapter 781: Enemies From The Past

She looked at Xyron, anger flashing in her eyes. "I am going to break every rule the Heaven Realm has made. I will say the name, and once I find out the name of the Deity of Fire, I will say it again and again in front of those pathetic deities. I will even make sure to write the tales about both of them so that all three realms will know about their sacrifice—and how pathetic those deities are."

Xyron could only hum, as he didn’t fancy those rules either but had to follow them anyway.

She looked at Drayce. "Your father’s name is Drayvor. Always remember it."

Drayce repeated the name as he nodded. "Drayvor."

He realized that his name was similar to his father’s, which meant Evanthe never blamed his father for anything and loved him enough to name their child similarly to his father.

As the necessary information about the particular individuals was revealed, Arlan said, "Xyron, we need to enter the Heaven Realm soon. Before that, we need to know about its ruler, anyone else we need to be careful of, and someone who can be our ally and is still willing to help the fallen deities."

Xyron nodded as he explained, "the current King of Heaven is Grianor. Just like the Lord of Darkness and Deity of Fire, he originated from the divine powers of another ancient beast, Lion. He is Lord of Light. He is the most powerful god in existence after the heavenly emperor."

"More powerful than the Lord of Darkness?" Arlan asked.

Xyron shook his head as he explained, "Grianor and Lord of Darkness were raised together and both were similarly skilled and powerful, at the same time, they were like brothers. But now, the Lord of Darkness is the most powerful being due to the absolute darkness."

Arlan hummed as he concluded, "So, after Drayvor had sacrificed to darkness and had to leave the heaven realm, Grianor took his place and became the King of Heaven? Is that King trustable or blinded by powers?"

"After the last war between our realms, all I know, we Demons hate him. If not for him, we wouldn’t be reduced to this state and our princess wouldn’t have sacrificed herself," As Xyron said, he looked at Draven, "We also despised the one who followed the King’s orders."

"There must be a reason why the Demon realm was attacked," Draven said, "I know I would never harm anyone without a reason."

"The Great God of War had spoken. What can I say now," Xyron commented.

"Maybe try to look into the shortcomings and what your side must have done wrong to be attacked by me," Draven replied.

"Your responsibility was to follow the Kings orders blindly, that’s it," Xyron said, "You had no say in whether you want to go on war or not."

"I don’t believe it," Draven replied, "but I can’t change your perception of me as we were in the end enemies."

"King Draven," Oriana said with a firm tone, "As much as you trust your past self, I trust my past self as well. I am sure, I would never do anything wrong and let my people do anything wrong as well. Based on how cunning Heaven realm is, I am sure they must have plotted against us to gain something to their advantage. We Demons are just simple minded."

"Simple minded?" Draven raised a brow as looked at her with an equally intimidating gaze. Oriana was far from simple minded. She was shrewd and no one could deny it. Draven continued. "But we would know once our memories are back. I will sure let you know where things wen’t wrong."

"I look forward to it," she replied coldly.

As the air between the two past rivals, the two equally powerful beings in the past, seemed to heat up, Arlan interrupted them. "Though both of you had fought against each other in the past, do not forget we are on the same side now. Once everything is settled, we will give both of you some time to show off your powers against each other."

Getting the hint, Oriana and Draven kept quiet as the matters in hand were more important.

Though the time had passed, the deep rooted rivalry from the past was still there. Everyone wondered how that scene must be when the Princess of the Demon realm and the God of War fought against each other.

Xyron cleared his throat a little to get rid of that unsettling silence and said, "The Deity of Desire, Deity Isis is the current queen of the Heaven realm after she married Grianor. I am not sure why, but I suggest you be careful of her. She seems to be cunning though she appeared most elegant and refined being."

"She is the root of all the disasters," Evanthe said, "She is the one to cause Sierra to reduce to that state and cause harm to Seren. I am sure what happened to all of us is linked with her."

Xyron hummed and suggested, "If someone that you can ask for help in the Heaven realm, that would be Deity of Wisdom, Solon. He is also the adviser of the King of Heaven."

"Why would the King’s adviser help us?" Morpheus asked, "Won’t he side with the King and the Heaven realm?"

"He is a god of Wisdom for a reason," Xyron said, "He is impartial and sides with what is right. I hope he is the same even now."

"Once Sierra mentioned to me that it was the Deity of Wisdom who helped her escape the Heaven realm," Evanthe said, "if I am not wrong, he was the one to hint her on how to protect her daughter and that is how Sierra went on stealing Hellfire and put her inside Seren. With hellfire inside her child, no one could harm her."

"He is definitley the kind to do it," Xyron commented, "He never involves himself directly, but he always has ways to help someone in need, when the one in need is not wrong."

"Deity of wisdom it is then," Arlan said, "We need to find him first in the heaven realm."

"Is there a way to enter the heaven realm without Alarming them?" Drayce asked.

Xyron shook his head, "But you might create distraction and get their attention somewhere else, something more important."

"As Draven said before, we can use the Demon realm to distract them," Evanthe added. ƒгeewёbnovel.com

"With the help of my sword, I will create some powerful disturbance around the Demon realm and make the deities feel threatened," Oriana said, "You can use that moment to enter the heaven realm."

Draven, who heard it, had something going on in his mind.

"What are you thinking, Draven?" Evanthe asked.

Draven replied, "Once we enter the Heaven realm, I need to find the sword of God of War. Maybe the Deity of Wisdom can tell me where I can find it."

"That’s possible," Evanthe said, "Once we enter the heaven realm, the first thing we have to do is to find the Deity of Wisdom."

"It would be better if familiar faces are shown so he won’t be taken aback," Drayce said, "He would recognise mother and Draven."

All of them sat there discussing the strategy and were ready with the plan.

"Things might not go exactly as you expect," Xyron said, "Those deities are cunning."

"We would be careful," Evanthe said.

"If the time comes, I will free the Demon realm and all the Demons will come to fight against them," Oriana said to which others agree.
