Temple of Treachery, the place where devils worship their overlord, Asmodeus. This wasn't a place mortals were allowed to enter, yet this day, Sara was standing at the front door, three women behind her.

The temple guards, two large horned devils that looked like massive minotaurs, glared at them with fire burning in their eyes. After a moment of silence, one of them snorted, fire escaping from his nostrils like a flame thrower.

"Pristess Sara of Alina." He said in a deep growl, "You're welcome, but not your guests. I need not explain why."

The other one quickly added, "A white Drakaina, a vile demoness, and?" He looked at Matilda with a surprised face, "A black tiger with the stench of the void?"

The other devil gave Matilda a look as well. "Now they don't look like your simple slaves or sinners. If you came to offer them to Asmodeus, you can pass."

Lunara's hands were slowly moving. She was ready to slash the two devils in half if they needed to, but suddenly, Sara sighed. "Gorigore, Flabrony, you two don't know how to joke, do you?"

The two devils looked at her with angry glares and suddenly burst into laughter. "You're right, we never learn."

She knew the two from ages ago when she was first brought here to be executed. Those two devils were tasked with guarding her cage. A large, bird-like cage built of black steel and fire. The two devils had just returned from the blood war and were still injured, that why they were granted such a meaningless task.

At the time, Sara was certain she wouldn't live another day, so on her way out, she healed the two from their wounds. To her surprise, the two of them later barged into the execution room and smacked the headsman in the face, they were ready to fight the whole layer.

At the end, Asmodeus's letter arrived just in time before the three of them could be swarmed by thousands of devils.

Gorigore and Flabrony are both Pit Fiends, powerful devils that have survived countless wars. They only take orders from their Archpitfiend General Spindle or Asmodeus. Right now, they seem to be on their vacation from the blood war, and so they are posted as guards.

Those two are also the help Sara was looking for. "I actually came for you two. We're looking for someone, a sinner who entered hell by mistake."

The two devils stared at her with confused faces. First, they had their job, and two, Pit Fiends like them rarely leave the war, and when they do, it is usually because of injury.

Gorigore was the first to speak, scratching the back of his head. "You know that if we're standing here, then we're injured. We can punch a devil or two but not much else…" He looked at her, "I know you can heal us, so our injuries aren't a problem."

Flabrony was the one to finish, "The problem, if you want to free a sinner. Asmodues will heat a steel rod and impale you on it. You and us. So, unless you've got someone powerful to back you up, I suggest you forget about that sinner."

"Very powerful. Not many can dare stand up to Asmodeus. Our General Spindle should be able to speak to her in our stead, but that will take time." As Gorigore spoke, his eyes opened wide, "Wait, you came to us so we can speak to General Spindle for you?"

Sara shook her head and pulled Maharaja's fang that she was wearing as a necklace and showed it to them, "This is the one who sent me on this mission."

The two paled the moment they saw the fang, "By the hells! Sara, where did you get that?!"

"From the huntress herself. We've got a powerful backer. Are you two coming with us?" Sara giggled as she saw their terrified faces.

The two looked at each other, "Words are that Asmodeus and Maharaja are in bed together, this is as good as getting Asmodeus's approval, nothing will stand in our way." They laughed, and Sara nodded.

The three women behind Sara finally felt relieved. With two devils that know the layer well, the search would get much, much easier. But it was then that something felt odd. Standing beside Sara and the two devils was a tall, pale woman in a tight red dress. Her long hair flapped with the arid wind, simmering with light. One of her eyes was as black as the darkness of the abyss, and the other as blindingly bright as the sun.

Gamond was the first to see her, and she couldn't sense any power at all, but even with that, she could feel all of her senses screaming of danger.

The woman stood like a statue, aloof, and her stern face betraying any kind of emotion. She then spoke, her voice sweet and gentle, "You're right, about Maharaja and me, I mean."

Silence fell, the two devils didn't even dare breathe, and Sara's face drained as her whole body started shaking. The woman reached forward and grabbed Sara's necklace, giving the fang a short glance.

"Follow me inside." The woman turned to the massive door and pushed it open with one hand. Everyone followed in silence, no one daring to even speak. The inside of the temple was massive, built with bones, obsidian, and black steel. All of the priests and priestesses inside immediately prostrated themselves, hitting the ground so hard that their foreheads cracked.

The only sound that could be heard was the woman's clicking heels, the faint steps behind her, and the sound of bone cracking as the worshippers swarmed around them. Soon, they reached the middle of the temples. The priestess and priestesses rushed to bring a massive obsidian throne, their hands bled and their backs cracked as they dragged it.

Soon, the blond woman sat down and looked at Sara and her companions. "So, she sent you to find someone." She turned and looked at one of the priestesses.

The priestess looked a bit strange. Her blood-red skin seemed too clean and soft compared to the other devils, her long raven hair was silky smooth, and her nails, albeit black, didn't resemble claws. Even her build resembled that of humans, except for the two black horns. What was most strange was that her eyes were covered with a mask, only leaving the lower part of her face exposed.

"What are they looking for?"

The priestess twitched and suddenly turned her head, "A half-dwarf, he should be east in the dark region."
