Chapter 1807: Sixth Gear

“RUMBLE!!!”

The landmass convulsed beneath a divine pressure, shaking with such ferocity that it seemed the entire realm might be torn in half. Cracks spiderwebbed across the colossal canyon forged by Tiamat’s devastating strike, and then—just moments later—two figures shot skyward, rising like divine comets into the highest reaches of the sky.

Tiamat and the Lord of Ages—both ArchDeities of staggering might—had begun their battle.

The sheer scale of their confrontation was enough to threaten the Matrix of the Second Layer. If any of them insisted on continuing the fight within the mainland of the Second Realm, the World Will itself would intervene, empowering their opponent in a desperate bid to preserve the structure of reality. This universal failsafe forced them upward, into the upper skies, where the damage of their conflict could at least be partially contained.

Cain watched their departure with a small, knowing smile. He then turned his attention to the crippled Prima Deity still in his grasp.

There was no pity in Cain’s expression, no hesitation in his movement. Crimson flames surged from his palm, flooding into the broken deity’s body, searing it from the inside out. The agony was immense—but brief. The flames crippled the man’s energy channels and soul structure. Then, with cold precision, Cain extended his will into the Scarlet Throne, connecting its essence to the wounded deity’s Divine Kingdom.

The kingdom began to tremble, its foundations unraveling as if caught in an endless consumption. Screams echoed from within, panic spreading like wildfire.

This Divine Kingdom, unlike the previous two Cain had destroyed, was populated by real beings with true souls. Families, soldiers, civilians—souls who had no part in their ruler’s tyranny—ran in every direction, fear written across their faces.

Cain’s eyes glowed with a meaningful light as he activated the Oniric Truths of Gravity and Wind. Even at just 50% mastery, the combined truths gave him control over the entire terrain. With a thought, he redirected energy across the land, wrapping those below the Legendary Rank in a protective current and launching them out of the collapsing kingdom.

It wasn’t salvation, but it was mercy.

They would have to flee the territory of the Lord of Ages or risk being consumed by the coming war, but Cain would not act as their shepherd. He had granted them a chance. The rest was up to them.

Once the innocents were clear, Cain activated the full might of the Scarlet Throne. Like a ravenous void, it devoured massive segments of the Divine Kingdom at terrifying speed. Towers, fortresses, entire mountain ranges were pulled in and consumed without resistance.

In a matter of minutes, the entire Divine Kingdom had vanished.

Cain then glanced coldly at the crippled Prima Deity still hanging in his grasp. Without a word, he cast him into the Scarlet Throne as well, letting his broken form join the two others consumed in recent days.

With the task finished, Cain turned his attention toward the next Divine Kingdom—its shining walls gleaming on the horizon.

But just as he prepared to move forward, his eyes narrowed. Instinct took over.

He immediately raised Sky Devourer, placing the great black sword on his back.

“THUUUUUUNNNN!!!”

A sharp ring echoed across the sky as a powerful spear clashed against Cain’s sword. The weapon was infused with star power—bright, multicolored, and brimming with cosmic might. But it couldn’t move him. Not even an inch.

The attacker hovering in the air was no other than the Star Man—the young Prima Deity who had once forced Cain and Meylin into a desperate fight shortly after their arrival in the Second Realm. Despite the Star Man’s formidable power, Cain had ascended to a completely different level since that encounter.

The Star Man’s eyes widened in disbelief as he witnessed the Neo-Demon’s effortless defense. He couldn’t understand how someone could grow so powerful in so little time—but there was no time for pondering.

Cain’s eyes locked onto him like a predator eyeing prey. There was no hesitation. Twisting his body, Cain deflected the spear with ease, then drove his free hand forward in a brutal punch.

But this was no mere fist.

What the Star Man saw rushing toward him was a star of destruction—a blazing mass of force, heat, and gravity, carrying the weight of a world.

In desperation, the Star Man activated the constellation sigil on his forehead, forming an energy shield around himself just before the punch landed.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!”

A thunderous explosion rocked the sky. The energy shield shattered, and the Star Man was launched like a broken meteor. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he tumbled through the air, but the shield had done its job. He was alive and did not suffer grave injuries.

Cain smiled faintly. The Star Man had survived, but that didn’t matter. The result was inevitable. He would join the others in Cain’s growing collection.

Just as Cain prepared to finish the job, a flicker of annoyance crossed his face.

“They’re faster than I thought.”

A storm of divine power surged toward him. Not one, not two—but dozens of Prima Deities were racing his way, their energies amalgamating into a tidal wave of force. Each of them burned with battle fury, summoned by the Lord of Ages in a last-ditch effort to halt Cain’s rampage.

Though the ArchDeity was occupied with Tiamat, he had clearly issued a command to every follower he could spare.

The collective energy of the approaching army was enough to drown even a lesser ArchDeity. The sky darkened. Winds howled. Space rippled with pressure.

And still—Cain smiled.

He took a slow, deep breath. His muscles tensed. Blood rushed through his veins like lava.

Then he whispered two words:

“Sixth Gear.”

His heartbeat surged. A thunderous rhythm echoed through his body, and cracks appeared in his blood vessels. The stress on his frame was enormous—but so was the power.

A devastating rush of energy flooded his body. His aura expanded violently, like a beast unchained. Flesh, blood, and bone—everything was pushed past its limits as the full might of his cultivation ignited.
