Of course, the latter was a Holy Weapon and could grow alongside Cain’s energy pool, but its limit was at the Peak Apotheosis Realm, while the thin blood blade could enhance the attacks from Divine Ascension Masters.

"We should speak in private," Duke Gigant stared at Cain for a moment, uttering that command before turning to the rest of the Deus Behemoths around him.

"Everyone, take some rest and make sure to tend to your wounds. Be prepared to march into battle immediately upon any indication. While the horde of Wave Beasts may seem to have come to a halt, we haven’t seen any Divine Beasts yet, so this is no time to let your guard down."

Gigant nodded as he saw the seriousness in his soldiers before glancing at Cain, and the duo immediately went to the Titan Tower in the center of the fort, soon vanishing inside this one.

"I understand your suspicion, and I am willing to offer an explanation. However, the information I will reveal will carry a certain level of military secrecy, so I will refrain from sharing certain details."
