The Evil Lord's Wife Has Spirit Blood-Chapter 341
Standing in the bathroom, already back in her clothes, Michelle wondered how to check her strength.
There weren’t any tools or machines around that she could test her strength on to get an exact value.
And even if there were, she hadn’t tested her strength while she was still in the tempering medicine bath, so she wouldn’t be able to compare the results.
The only thing she did with that explosive strength was pull Alexander into the bath.
Theoretically, that could be recreated.
But could he tighten his muscles exactly the same as he did before?
Well, slight changes shouldn’t make that much of a difference since the change in Michelle’s strength was quite big.
"Alexander, I’ll try to pull you down again!" she finally decided.
With that, she sat down on the ground so she would be in a similar position to when she was in the tub.
Alexander took a step back to put the same distance as before between him and Michelle.
Then, as he lowered himself a bit, Michelle stretched her hands out to grab his shoulders and tugged just like before.
Alexander quickly tightened his muscles, attempting to put up the same resistance as before so Michelle’s strength could be found out.
The thrust of Michelle’s strength made him lose balance a bit, but not enough to fall over.
Michelle wasn’t as strong as when she was in the medical bath, but she was still stronger than normal.
Getting up, Michelle had a frown on her face.
What had just happened could mean two things.
Either the strength had yet to completely fade and she would slowly lose it, or the reaction of her body to the medicine not only gave her the temporary explosive strength, but also some permanent effect, really making her strength increase, though less.
"You should try to rest for a while before trying again," Alexander suggested.
Michelle nodded.
If she would slowly lose the strength, it would be best to wait for a while before testing again.
If she rested, maybe the process would run faster.
Lazily, Michelle returned to the room and let her back fall on the bed, not really caring about anything.
Seeing her like that, Alexander had the urge to tease her.
"Are you sure it’s safe to stay like this?" he asked with a careless smile as he walked over to the bed, putting his knee next to Michelle to lean over her.
Michelle narrowed her eyes, a similar smile to Alexander’s appearing on her own lips.
"Are you sure it’s safe to do this...?" She lifted her hand and pressed her index finger against Alexander’s Adam’s apple.
Staring down at Michelle, Alexander’s eyes darkened.
At the same time, while looking back at him, Michelle’s eyelids dropped partially.
Underneath, her gaze wasn’t as focused as usual, but it drew attention more than ever.
"You think you can be more dangerous than me?" Alexander chuckled, his voice lowered.
"Not at all..." Michelle’s voice was calm.
Speaking, she twisted her finger on Alexander’s neck ever so slightly, pressing her nail into his skin.
"But you do know how crazy I am!"
Alexander lowered himself, his nose nearly touching Michelle’s. "So, what are you trying to say?"
He moved his hands to the sides of Michelle’s head, settling above her. "Hmm...?"
With a smile, Michelle stopped pressing her nail into Alexander’s neck and instead wrapped her hand around it.
"Don’t tempt me... Or I might just bite you..."
Though Michelle’s voice was careless, knowing her for a while, Alexander knew that when she was acting like that, she was more serious than ever.
Her carelessness was never shown like that.
When she was really careless, it looked different.
But it was only in subtle things, so only those who knew her well could tell the difference.
Alexander’s eyes narrowed.
At the same time, he lifted one of his hands from the side of Michelle’s head to her face, covering her mouth.
"How will you bite me now?"
Michelle’s reaction was instant.
She simply opened her mouth and bit down on Alexander’s palm.
She didn’t hold back in the least bit when she did it, so his blood ended up dripping into her mouth.
Something dangerous flashed in Alexander’s already dark eyes.
It was just for a moment, but the sight of it could enthrall anyone.
And, seeing it, Michelle forgot to let go of Alexander’s hand, and her teeth sank deeper into his palm.
"Are you that hungry?" Alexander closed his fingers around Michelle’s face, gripping her jaw tightly, his little finger going under her jaw to press from the bottom.
Feeling the pressure from the bottom of her jaw, Michelle opened her teeth, letting go of Alexander’s palm.
"I said I would bite you!" She licked the blood on her lips.
Alexander looked down at his palm, as if studying the two rows of teeth marks, bleeding ever so slightly.
"Should I take this as your gift for me?" he asked when he finally moved his gaze back to Michelle.
She found that idea quite funny, but she didn’t like that it was on Alexander’s palm.
"No..." She lifted herself up to get her face even closer to Alexander’s.
"This will be your gift..." With that, she opened her mouth and bit down hard on the side of Alexander’s jawline, leaving two red rows behind.
When Michelle pulled back, Alexander touched where she bit, exhaling slowly, like he was savoring the pain from the bite.
"I guess I should give you a return gift!" His eyes gleamed.
"And what will that be?" Michelle laid back down, her gaze locked on Alexander like a predator’s gaze on its prey.
But Alexander was no prey.
He was equally as predatory as Michelle.
For a moment, silence stretched in the room, the two staring at each other like two beasts circling each other.
But there was also tension in the air, unlike that when beasts met.
After that moment, Alexander lowered his head to Michelle’s until their lips touched.
But instead of a normal kiss, he opened his mouth and bit down on her lip like he was having a taste.
For a moment, Michelle’s eyes widened in surprise before she reacted.
She moved her hand to the back of Alexander’s head, gripping his hair tightly.
But instead of pulling him away from her, she pushed him closer.
It was quite a strange move.
She was pulling on his hair like she didn’t want the kiss, if it could be called that, but at the same time, she pulled him closer.
After a while, Alexander pulled back and moved his hand to touch Michelle’s on the back of his head.
"Do you even know what you want?" he asked with a teasing smile.
With blood trickling down her lips, Michelle’s stance remained the same as before Alexander kissed her.
"Of course I know!" Her voice carried something that made the air prickle.
"I want to ruin you!"
Alexander let out a hearty laugh.
"Ruin me?" He found the idea amusing.
"Wouldn’t your life then be boring? Without me in it?"
Michelle shook her head.
"You are like a cockroach! You won’t die from that!"
For a moment, Alexander didn’t know whether that was an insult or a compliment.
But that didn’t matter.
He reached out and grabbed Michelle by her wrists, pulling her to her feet.
"What if I try to ruin you?" He pulled her against him.
From the force of Alexander’s pull, Michelle ended up crashing into his chest with her face, making her frown a bit.
"Your chest isn’t a good cushion!" she complained.
The fact that Michelle completely ignored his question stirred something within Alexander.
He moved his hands from Michelle’s wrists to her waist, wrapping them around her.
"Muscles aren’t supposed to be pillows," he lowered his head to murmur against the top of Michelle’s head.
"That’s a pity..." Michelle muttered into Alexander’s chest.
As her face was still buried there, her expression couldn’t be seen, but only from her voice, Alexander could tell she was quite enjoying herself.
Tightening his grip around Michelle’s waist, Alexander lifted her up, putting her over his shoulder.
"My chest isn’t your pillow!" he repeated.
Up above, Michelle frowned.
"Just don’t regret those words in the future!"
Michelle’s stubbornness widened Alexander’s smile.
"Didn’t you agree to go rest? So you can test your strength for changes earlier?"
That made Michelle sigh. She had things to do.
"Put me down..." she finally said reluctantly.
But Alexander had different plans.
Instead of putting Michelle down, he walked with her over his shoulder back to the bed and sat down.
Then, he let her down, but pulled her to him as he laid down.
Pulled against Alexander, with her face near his chest again, Michelle snickered.
"You said your chest isn’t a pillow!"
Hearing that, Alexander stiffened. She was messing with him again.
Michelle loved doing that more than anything.
Especially if she started when Alexander was in a good mood.
Seeing his mood change because of her was the best feeling ever.
