The Extra Seeks Chaos-Chapter 181: Postponed Matches [Read the author’s thought]
Finally, Arin exited Riya's office, her last words still lingering in his head.
"Cousin, huh?"
He smiled and shook his head as he left the building and started walking towards the main Academy building.
"I guess I'll like to meet him too..."
As soon as Arin reached the building, he found his way to the hallway and then to his class. The class was noisy as usual, but Arin knew that Riya would arrive in like a minute, so the noise would soon cease.
"Well, like Seraphine said, just remain calm for a bit," Arin muttered to himself. "I'll eventually solve each piece in the puzzle."
"Everyone, sit down!" Riya exclaimed as soon as she entered the class.
********
The class ended successfully, and because of the competition that was still ongoing, the Weapon Training class hadn't been held for two days now, and today would make it three days.
Nobody even needed to tell the students. They all rushed towards the training space in the Academy where the competition had been held until now.
Without wasting time, they all formed a circle, waiting for Orion and the teachers to arrive as they communicated amongst themselves.
Arin glanced at the second-year side of the Academy that wasn't too far from this training space.
The place was devoid of people and was so silent.
"Always on missions..." Arin muttered. "First-year students are complaining about the Magic Theory class being too long, but they don't realize that second year is even going to be more stressful. They'll always have missions assigned even though they've not completed the current one."
Averting his gaze, Arin glanced at the faces of the students, and that's when he spotted someone.
It was the girl who he threatened during the ceremony. She was laughing and joking with her friends. She didn't even look like someone who was traumatized in the slightest.
Arin furrowed his brows. "This is it... I can consider this a confirmation that the Assistant Principal or whatever certainly had a different motive when she called me and Leon."
Before he could delve further into these thoughts...
"Quiet, everyone!" Orion exclaimed.
He quickly glanced around before he continued. "All the students here have fought. Some won while some had their matches postponed."
"For those who won, your names have been written on a different file, and you'll have to fight again to go to the next round! Those who lost, make sure to watch the matches of others so that you can learn a thing or two and improve yourselves to become better mages in this Academy!"
'So this means I entered round two and will have to fight someone else to enter round three,' Arin thought.

It made sense, considering the fact that there were quite a lot of first-year students, and only three spots were available.
"For today, only those whose matches were postponed will fight," Orion said.
The crowd cheered as a teacher stepped out and called the names of the first two students whose fight was postponed due to exceeding three minutes.
This time, the fight quickly ended as one of them emerged as the winner. They had already gained more experience, so things were different this time.
It was like that for the fights that followed after the first one. They had all gone to train more, so the fights didn't even reach three minutes.
Finally, all the postponed matches were completed, and the winners were added to the file reserved for those who won their match.
"Since that is now completed, the next round will officially start tomorrow!" Orion announced.
With that, all the students began heading towards their rooms or The Area.
As for Arin, he went straight to his room.
He climbed the stairs to the second floor of the dorm building and walked towards the end of the hallway where his room was located.
Though, before he entered, he glanced at the door of the room next to his.
"I've never even seen the dude who owns this room," Arin muttered. "Ever since I woke up in this world."
Now that he thought about it, back on Earth, he had never seen the person who lived in the apartment next to his.
"Well, I didn't go out that much, so..."
"Or maybe he or she also didn't go out that much, or maybe went out a lot and I just happened to never see them."
But the one thing Arin remembered was that the few times he stepped out of his apartment, a pizza guy was always coming to deliver pizza to whoever was living in the next apartment.
"He or she definitely likes pizza a lot," Arin murmured as he entered his room.
Closing the door, he was ready to carry out his evening routine.
As usual, he dropped the bracelet on the floor, and Roxanne appeared.
If there was an insect living in Arin's room, even the insect would know what would happen next.
She greeted Arin, and then...
The window!
Roxanne went to her usual location, and Arin, already used to this, continued what he was doing.
He freshened up and sat down on the floor in a lotus position, ready to continue hardening his Blood Energy.
He had completely hardened the Blood Energy in his back and also part of his neck. So, he just had to complete hardening his Blood Energy in the remaining part of his neck and also his head.
But before that...
A transparent orb with a dark smoke swirling inside it instantly appeared in his hand.
It was the orb he got from Valtor's body, and he still didn't know what it was.
"Leon also said he didn't know what it was and that he couldn't sense anything from it," Seraphine said. "What do you think?"
"I'll still keep it," Arin said. "It's not like it's harming me. Who knows, we might find out what it is sooner than we think."
"Hmm..."
With that, Arin closed his eyes.
He had to get stronger, after all, he already had problems to deal with, and who knew if even more problems would arise?
