The Extra Seeks Chaos-Chapter 223: The Nature Of The Chaos Element
Arin's eyes snapped open as he stared at the ceiling.
He stayed like that for a few seconds before he finally turned his head to the left.
Thankfully, this time, he didn't see anything he wasn't supposed to see.
He turned his head to the right, and he saw Roxanne staring outside through the window.
'I guess she heard what I said before I passed out,' Arin thought.
"Ah, I didn't have to scream your name this time, huh?" Seraphine said, her tone was sarcastic.
Arin rolled his eyes.
He got up from the bed, making Roxanne look at him instantly.
With a smile on her face, she approached him.
"How are you feeling now?"
"Fine," Arin replied. "How long has it been since I fell unconscious?"
"Not much time has passed," Roxanne replied. "It should be around fifteen minutes."
Arin nodded. 'I regained consciousness faster this time, unlike last time this happened.'
He knew that it was the Raven who was draining his Blood Energy.
From the look of things, the Raven was feeding on his Blood Energy.
'Maybe if it feeds on my Blood Energy to an extent, then I'll be able to communicate with it?' Arin pondered.
Another thing he was curious about was why he fell unconscious when the Raven drained his Blood Energy.
"From what I know, if I deplete my Blood Energy, I shouldn't fall unconscious. I'm just supposed to feel weak,' Arin thought.
'Or is it because it was the Raven who depleted it? Or maybe it has to do with the speed at which my Blood Energy was depleted?'
Arin asked Roxanne and Seraphine about it, but they didn't seem to know.
Back in the dorm building in the Arena City, Roxanne was only asleep because she transferred every last drop of her Blood Energy to Arin.
That weakened her to the point that she entered a sleep-like state.
'Well, there's still time before I'll leave. I'll try creating a Chaos Element Spell before then,' Arin thought.
Before doing that, he brought Seraphine out as she appeared in front of him.
"Huh? Why did you summon me?" She asked, which was quite strange considering the fact that she was the one who always asked to be summoned.
"You were talking too loudly in my head," Arin said. "And apart from that, just stay with Roxanne."
"Try staring outside like she always does. It's quite peaceful and calming, you know," he added.
Seraphine rolled her eyes.
She was about to walk towards Roxanne, but Arin called her name.
"Seraphine, I still haven't forgotten my promise," Arin said with a grin. "So, you can be rest assured."
Seraphine turned to face him with a cheeky smile on her face.
"Thank you..." She muttered.
Arin nodded before sitting in a lotus position.
Instantly, he found himself in his Mana Space, with the familiar clear blue sky and ocean-like surface, with blue mist which was his Water Element Mana floating around.
But today, he had another plan.
Just like he did last time, he closed his eyes and sensed his Chaos Element Mana that was dormant and hiding in his Water Element Mana.
Because he had done it before, it was no longer hard for him.
He dispersed the Water Element Mana that he could sense in his body, and began bringing out the Chaos Element Mana.
Instantly, the Chaos Element Mana became active, and at the same time, the Mana Space began changing.
The blue sky changed. It turned into a deep purple colour, with purple lightning streaks occasionally running through the purple eerie clouds.
The ocean-like surface also changed and became solid hard ground.
The once bright and soothing Mana Space was now eerie and dark, with an oppressive atmosphere.
Purple mist filled the Mana Space.
This was his Chaos Element Mana.
'Now... What kind of Spell should I create?' Arin thought.
'I already have a good amount of defensive Spells like the Water Wall, Water Bubble and Water Shield. The Chaos Shroud Spell is even an offensive Spell and also a defensive Spell.'
So, this meant that he had to create an offensive Spell.
Arin squinted his eyes as he controlled the Chaos Element Mana in the air, bringing it towards his hand.
His eyes settled on the Mana.
"Chaos Element..."
"Destructive..."
"Versatile..."
"Confusing..."
"And most importantly... Tricky."
Overtime, it seemed like he had naturally gained knowledge about the nature of the Chaos Element.
It was as if the Chaos Element wanted Arin to understand it, and it's nature.
And because of that, Arin quickly got an idea.
He grinned as he closed his eyes again.
He began controlling the Chaos Element Mana that was in his body, bringing it out.
As expected, it was easy because he did the same thing when he created the Chaos Shroud Spell.
The Chaos Element Mana came out, and he began gathering it on his right palm.

He could see the purple mist gathering on his palm.
"Now, time to shape it..."
His goal was to use the 'tricky' and 'versatile' aspect of the Chaos Element to create a Spell he had in mind.
Slowly, he began shaping the Mana, and within minutes, he had completely shaped it.
Now, on his palm, was a purple ball twice as big as a ping-pong ball.
The ball was made of Chaos Element Mana hence it's purple colour.
Though, the most noticeable thing was that the purple Mana that formed the ball was flickering like a flame.
It made the ball look like a fireball.
Arin smiled.
His recent understanding of the Chaos Element made it possible for him to shape the Mana to how he wanted.
He was able to make the ball look like a fireball, which was part of the 'versatile' aspect.
As for the 'tricky' aspect, it was the nature of the 'fireball'.
Even though it looked like a fireball, it wouldn't just make an enemy get enveloped in flames.
'I myself am yet to understand all the aspects of the Chaos Element, including this 'tricky' aspect,' Arin thought.
At least, he knew that if he threw the ball towards an enemy and it hit, it would have some kind of effect.
Though, suddenly...
[Congratulations! You have successfully created a new Chaos Element Spell.]
[Your knowledge of the Chaos Element has increased!]
[You will now be able to use the Chaos Element more better than before!]
[You have created two Chaos Element Spells on your own without any help! Your hard work has been recognized!]
[You will be rewarded for your hard work!]
[You can now see the two rewards you received!]
Arin's eyes scanned all the information on the system screen, but as soon as he saw the effect of the Spell he created just now, his eyes widened.
"Bruh... Did I really create this...!?"
