The Extra's Advent: My Villainess Fiancée is a Yandere-Chapter 53: Valeria Duskbane
Cael watched as a boy gripped the Monarch’s gray hair, saying something in a language he didn’t understand.
Even though the boy punched her in the stomach, she simply stared at him with cold eyes.
A thin line of blood fell from her lips.
Soon, those bullies left her and walked away.
Cael was surprised that the Monarch, who had single-handedly slaughtered armies, had such a past.
Or maybe only this kind of environment turned her into the Monarch.
"Hehe..."
A soft giggle disturbed Cael from his thoughts.
Cael’s eyes widened as he watched the Monarch struggle to stand up while laughing like a mad girl.
Soon, she stood up and staggered as she tried to walk, but within seconds, the Monarch walked straight as if she had never been injured.
If not for the blood on her face, Cael might have mistaken her for never being injured.
The Monarch dusted her clothes and muttered to herself,
"I wonder what the punishment for..."
She trailed off without finishing.
Cael realized he could understand the Monarch’s words without any problem; it seemed he couldn’t understand any other person’s words.
Then Cael’s vision blurred as he found himself in a different place.
His eyes paused on a platform where two students, dressed in uniform, were dueling with each other.
Then Cael’s gaze fell on the Monarch, who was watching intently along with more than fifty students.
Soon, the instructor stopped the duel, concluding the match.
The instructor seemed to give some kind of instructions to the students.
Both of the students walked down when the instructor spoke again.
With slow steps, the Monarch walked up.
She stopped in front of the bully boy.
The Monarch halted two meters before him and offered her hand while introducing herself,
"Valeria Duskbane, let’s have an unforgettable match."
But the boy didn’t shake her hand and said something in return.
The Monarch shrugged, retracted her hand, and said in a sarcastic tone,
"Fine by me."
The boy selected a sword, while the Monarch—or rather, Valeria—selected a spear and a sword.
The boy laughed and launched himself at Valeria.
Valeria took a step back as the boy slashed at where she had been standing.
She twirled the spear and thrust it toward the boy’s face.
But the boy blocked the spear with the blade of his sword as he skidded back.
Valeria sheathed her sword and gripped the spear with both hands.
The boy twisted his wrist and said something, but she said nothing; if anything, her expression became more serious.
Cael was surprised to find that this boy could use mana to enhance himself.
’A [Gold] ranker?’
Then he looked at Valeria, who wasn’t using it.
’Does she not know how to use mana yet?’
Cael wondered as he saw the boy charge at her again.
Valeria didn’t try to block the sword directly and instead parried it using the advantage of her spear’s length.
As she continued to parry the sword, the boy closed in and kicked Valeria.
She rolled on the ground and stopped herself at the edge of the platform.
The boy laughed and said something, likely mocking her.
Then he immediately followed up with more attacks, and soon the spear slipped from Valeria’s hands and embedded itself into the solid ground.
Valeria took deep breaths as she distanced herself.
Watching, Cael thought,
’In terms of pure skill and technique, she was leagues above the boy.’
’But she can’t use mana, which makes it a duel between a young superhuman and an early teen girl.’
Valeria took out the sheathed sword.
Then the duel continued, but...
Something was different this time.
When the boy used strong strikes, she began to evade.
When the boy used fast and quick strikes, she started to read the direction of his sword.
She was adapting to the boy’s offense.
And soon, she slowly but surely started using that boy’s own techniques against him.
She was a true copycat.
Unlike Cael, she didn’t have skills; it was her pure talent and effort.
As the battle continued, the boy’s face darkened as his mana drained to the bottom.
Cael was truly amazed by Valeria.
’She outlasted that boy.’
Then Valeria dropped her sword on the ground and raised her clenched fists in front of her face.
As if she wanted to fight with her fists.
And what followed was pure madness.
She dodged the sword, then punched his face.
She stepped to the left, another punch to the face.
Punch after punch after punch.
Blood poured from the boy’s nose and mouth.
The boy wanted to give up, but Valeria said,
"Who was the coward now?"
And so, the boy continued.
Seeing that the instructor wasn’t stopping the duel, Cael thought,
’Is it some kind of rule? No... the instructor stopped before the match.’
Then he recalled that before the match began, Valeria said, "Fine by me."
’Maybe they agreed on a special kind of duel.’
Cael concluded.
The boy was on the verge of falling unconscious.
Using all her strength, Valeria delivered a swift punch, sending the boy flying off the platform.
But...
The place he was falling was, coincidentally or not, exactly where the spear had been embedded.
-PUSFF
The boy’s spine was impaled, and he died within seconds.
Then Cael’s vision blurred again as he found himself in what seemed like a closed dungeon.
There, he saw Valeria again, wearing the same uniform, but her hands were cuffed.
’Was she being punished?’
Cael wondered.
"AWWOOOO"
A wild cry echoed through the space as a small three-tailed golden fox stared at Valeria.
With a sudden leap, the fox charged at her.
With her hands locked, she could only run.
But the fox was faster.
It bit into Valeria’s leg.
But she didn’t let out any sound of pain; instead, she fell to the ground and raised her legs defensively.
In that wild struggle, Valeria bit the fox’s throat.
No... not just biting.
She started eating the fox alive while drinking its blood.
Cael felt his stomach churn violently.
Soon, the fox died.
Valeria coughed and started vomiting.
Under Cael’s watchful eyes, Valeria took out a silver ring with blue patterns from that vomit.
Cael’s vision blurred again.
When he opened his eyes, he was back in his own timeline.
’What was that ring?’
