Eventually, the Ice Qi sects started to act just like the Fire Qi sects had, completely forgetting their history on the other end of such treatment.

It was like nothing had changed from a Sage Year ago besides the Qi the top cultivators practiced.

The effect on the Universe was similar to how fire had affected it as well. More ice planets were created, and entire galaxies with little activity were created. Life also evolved to adapt to these changes.

These were two relatively regular Qi's, some of the most used in the world. However, what would happen if he pushed the boost towards some of the rarer Qi's that tended to be in people with certain personalities?

Zhou Fan balanced the Qi's again before releasing a load of Death Qi. The God of Death smiled and nodded. He liked this change.

The tides turned, and Death Qi cultivators were now the most benefited.

However, there were not nearly as many Death Qi cultivators as there were Fire Qi and Ice Qi cultivators.

Noticing the balance changing, the Ice Qi sects led a bunch of their subordinate sects to attack the most prominent forces practicing Death Qi in the Universe. Yet with the Universe itself seemingly favoring the practitioners of Death Qi, most locations failed to do any substantial damage, and at the highest scale involving non Immortals, the strongest Death Qi sect, the Gate of Death, stood strong even after the attack.

The Universal change not only increased the speed at which the cultivators of Death Qi cultivated, but also increased their overall power.

It wasn't by so much that it completely changed the battlefield, but the boost was enough to tip the scales in most scenarios. As millions of years passed, Death Qi cultivators now had control over most of the Universe, just as the Fire Qi and Ice Qi sects had before them. There were many more Death Qi cultivators, and although the sects focusing on Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Wind, Metal, and so on had more cultivators, the quality difference was clear.

With this change, it could also be noted that more people with a Death Qi affinity were born.

The changes to the Universe were also more notable. The number of deaths in the Universe had increased greatly due to the large amount of Death Qi. Injured people and old people were more likely to die.

The new things created by the Universe had also changed. A noticeable ring spread out from what was once called the Origin Civilization. The first layer consisted of galaxies and planets filled with fire and lava. The second layer had planets and galaxies entirely filled with ice and coldness. Now, a third layer appeared, one with no life besides skeletons and other undead creatures.

There were even planets somehow made of bone.

The God of Death was surely enjoying this new trend.

After a Sage Year, Zhou Fan switched it up. The opposite of death. Life Qi appeared, filling the Universe.

This time, it happened a bit differently.

Those who practiced with Death Qi often killed. Death Qi itself was a source of many deaths. All life was naturally opposed to death. But when Life Qi appeared, all life felt relief and comfort. Besides those who practiced Qi's classified by many as "evil".

When time passed and Life Qi cultivators rose, there was not much opposition. They were peaceful people who almost always wanted to help others. Of course, there were always exceptions, but around half of them never willingly took a life. Life Qi affected everything positively. From plants to humans, everything was healthier and grew stronger. Those with diseases were less likely to die, and old people lived longer than before. ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com

On a Universal scale, planets full of lush life were created. New species were born rapidly. There was a surprising amount of green, but Life flourished in many ways. Ocean planets, regular planets like earth, plant filled planets, planets of unusual creatures, many different types of vibrant planets were created, and like those, vibrant galaxies were created.

Notably, many alchemists made homes on these planets, using the plants grown to refine pills and other concoctions.

A Sage Year passed, and the levels of happiness in the Universe were immense.

Zhou Fan almost felt bad as he ripped it away. Wind Qi filled the Universe.

Planets and galaxies of clouds and tornadoes appeared. Natural tornadoes were more common and stronger, including spatial storms that could harm those even stronger than gods, though such high level events were rare.

Wind cultivators acted much like the Fire and Ice cultivators before them. There was hardly any difference.

Next, Earth Qi. Galaxies filled with dirt and stone planets appeared.

Earth cultivators took over.

Zhou Fan cycled through many Qi's focusing mostly on opposites. He spent many Sage Years like this.

After around a hundred Sage Years, he returned everything back to balance. He spent many years contemplating everything he had seen. To be honest, not much had gone out of his predictions, and nothing that did was really major. Life was just too predictable.

Zhou Fan suddenly thought of what the Buddha had told him long ago. He had peered through the Power of Fate and saw the future.

Zhou Fan stopped thinking about advancing his cultivation realm, and moved towards the idea of creating a new power.

He already had a name and everything.

Divination.

As for whether or not he could create such an interesting and complicated factor, he would find out soon. Soon for him at least. Thousands of Sage Years passed. He hadn't moved from his spot, not even bothering to put up a time bubble. He was entirely focused on grasping this new power he wanted to create.

He had already observed countless beings over countless years. Some lived a normal mortal lifespan, while some became Path Creators. Some gave up on their hopes and dreams, while some persisted until the end of their life. Some died satisfied. Some died never accomplishing their dreams.

But none seemed able to escape his predictions.
