The Game's Extra: Azhriel Odyssey-Chapter 138: Tide
Azhriel released a heavy tired sigh, as he pinched the bridge of his nose, never in his dream's he had expected that the reason behind this whole agenda was his alchemist.
"Ah fuck, greed really is a terrible thing." Azhriel muttered as he moved towards the direction of the main cast, if before he was a bit reluctant to do the sudden quest.
Now, it felt like it was his responsibility.
It was his responsibility to take care of the mess his subordinates had made.

Meanwhile, in the forest the battle was at its peak.
Arcs of golden light, fell on the corrupted monster cleaving it in half, with a last feral shriek it fell on the grass it black blood pooling out of it's body, creating a disgusting puddle of blood and gore. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
Raymond, was true menace in the ongoing battle. After his previous breakthrough, he taken his time to adjust to his new power's and trained making him the doom of the monster's.
However, Samuel wasn't much behind him in that regard.
The boy moved like a blur, as darkness cold and ruthless wrapped around his legs making his faster, of course slower than Raymond in raw speed.
In the pale moonlight, his daggers glinted with a liquid black colour. It was the blood of the monster's that he had killed.
On the right, the golden light covered the black forest, while on the left the dark forest was almost invisible, because of the darkness that consumed it.
And it the middle of it all.
Crimson, pure beautiful crimson glowed in an ethereal light, as it formed into spikes and moved towards the monster piercing their heads and eyes mercilessly.
Arianne was Arianne, the villainess was able to match the boy's pacing effortlessly, her face still a void of emotions, her eyes betraying not a hint.
And behind of it all, the rest of the group stood. Their weapons already withdrawn, a relaxed expression marking their faces.
The tension and the nervousness that had once surrounded them, had been disappated now they all just stood seemingly not in any hurry to join the fight.
All, of it was all because of one person, just before Maera had joined the battle with a single flick of her wrist she had killed the higher rankings monsters and was now fighting the black spirit.
A transcendent.
The beings who stood on the edge of mortality, staring at the divine.
Just because Marea was found in a bad state and listening to her story of how the Prince was kidnapped. They had involuntarily underestimated her thinking she wasn't that powerful, in the case of combat at least.
Of course, the exception being Azhriel.
And oh, how truly wrong they were.
Monster.
She was a monster, no less than that of the commander's they had seen in their estates.
She had killed the monster's in an instant, now giving the main cast an easy chance, while they all continued to fight in the deeper forest.
Slash.
As the last of the monster, fell by the protagonist he exhaled quietly. Turning he looked at Samuel, and Arianne who had also finished and was now looking at him.
"Well, that was easy." Kevin's causal remark came from the back, as all of them moved towards the three.
"Say's the one who didn't even lift a finger." Samuel jabbed playfully at Kevin, as he brandished his daggers relieving them of the black ichor.
"Of course, why would the lord fight, if his subordinates are enough." Kevin replied haughtily.
Arianne frowned at his words, but before she could say anything Alicia had already done what they wanted.
Slap
"Ack." A loud sound, came out of Kevin's mouth, as Alicia hit him in the head almost making his stumble.
"Hey" he said but was quieted with a scowl of her's.
Breaking the friendly chatter among them, Raymond asked. As his golden red eyes turned to the direction of the deep forest.
"So do you think, they are fine?" He turned to them.
"Well, they will be unless, that spirit uses the Prince as bait again."
Sydelle said.
"Ah, but should we go into a fight between transcendents." Chole hesitated as she felt the tremors coming from the direction.
"Yah, who knows if we get caught in it and become a sandwich, i surely don't like that." Kevin said shivering slightly.
"Oh, is the lord scared right now." Alicia said.
"Yes, he is." Kevin admitted it.
Actually, he was right if somehow they were caught in the middle of the fight between transcendents, there a chance that they will suffer serious impacts and could die.
That's why without any choice they waited.
"Hm, though Azhriel hasn't returned yet." Chloe said.
"Oh, he will be fine..probably." Kevin said with a hesitant chuckle.
