As for whether the failure would have led to his death, he isn’t sure about that. What he is sure about is that he is glad that the fusion succeeded and that he didn’t have to experience the outcome of the failure.
Another thing that he is glad about is that the Shifting Armor Ability retained the growth potential of the Living Metal material. Not only did he not lose this property during the fusion, but Fenrir even expanded on it and turned his armor into a living thing capable of change.
He became stronger for it, but Fenrir also improved thanks to the Life Ability. With this improvement, Fenrir can now determine the status of people through the Power Identification Ability.
Fenrir still can’t tell what Metac they possess until they use it, but he is satisfied with this. Just the fact that he can now spend all of his money to improve the power of the Life Ability and take this power back into the past is a great boon to him, so he can’t complain.
However, there are indeed some things that he would like to change. They just aren’t about Fenrir since his Core Metac is better than anyone has the right to ask for. The changes he wants are all about himself.
