THE GOD EATER-Chapter 134: Two Battlefields.
As he warned the man, he threw a small bag of energy stones to the man. The man took it and began to count.
As he counted the money, he said to Loki, "I trust that you won’t try to cheat little old me. But you might have made a mistake when you were counting the amount. After all, no one is perfect."
In response, Loki snorted in disdain. He felt disrespected, so he would try to cheat someone out of 1,000 energy stones when he was capable of cheating people out of millions, but he didn’t say anything. He waited patiently for the man to finish counting.
After a while, the man finished counting. He closed the small bag and hung it with a rope on his belt as he said with a smile, "It is all there."
But Loki was not in the mood for smiles. He growled at the man and said, "Now, spill your guts or I might do it for you."
His threat made the man clear his throat hurriedly with a cough and say, "According to legend, the Blessed Heaven World is split into two. There is the Earth that we know and the heavens above us."
As he spoke, he pointed up to the sky and said, "Anyone can go to heaven. They just need to be able to fly there. This requirement means only rank 4 cultivators can go to heaven without help."
Loki looked up at the sky and struggled not to widen his eyes and say, "You’re telling me that there is something above the skies?"
Meanwhile, the man continued to say, "The Heavenly Battlefield is the domain of struggle for small worlds. While he was doing this, Jane was chatting up with another man. The man she was chatting with appeared to be an Enslavement Master because he had a Beast Bag Metac hanging at his waist, and Loki saw that his Core Metac was the Enslavement Seed.
This time, it seems the two of them were getting along nicely. Loki couldn’t hear what they were saying, but he saw that Jane was always chuckling or laughing.
