Chapter 150: Chapter 150: Such Expensive Wine!

Chen Yuhe exclaimed in surprise, her little legs flailing as she pouted, "What are you doing?"

"Guess!"

Ling Feng chuckled mischievously, carrying her to the side of the car, then said, "Open the door."

Being held by him, Chen Yuhe’s heartbeat suddenly quickened, and she stuttered, "You, you’re not thinking of doing... that in the car, are you?"

"Silly girl, how can we get in the car without opening the door, and how can we go to dinner without getting in the car?" Ling Feng asked with a chuckle.

"You!"

Only then did Chen Yuhe realize that he was deliberately teasing her, and she quickly began to struggle, "How can I find the keys if you don’t let me go?"

Ling Feng set her down on the ground, and Chen Yuhe, her face flushed, punched him before stooping to look for the car keys.

The punch wasn’t strong at all, it was just a girl’s coy gesture. Ling Feng just smiled and didn’t take it to heart.

After getting in the car, Chen Yuhe started the vehicle and headed straight to the south of the city.

"What are we going to eat?" Ling Feng asked.

"A big meal, an incredibly expensive feast that’s going to bankrupt you!" Chen Yuhe said fiercely.

Ling Feng laughed, "Then you’re thinking too much. I’m worth hundreds of thousands now, how could a single meal bankrupt me?"

Chen Yuhe turned to glance at him, a sly twinkle in her eye, "You don’t believe me?"

"Of course, I say bring it on, I won’t bat an eyelid!" Ling Feng boasted.

"That’s exactly what I was waiting to hear!" Chen Yuhe floored the accelerator and the car zoomed away, picking up speed.

A few minutes later, they pulled up in front of a Western restaurant. Ling Feng got out of the car, took a look around, and felt that the decoration was fairly luxurious. However, the restaurant clearly wasn’t big, with only a few tables visible through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.

"This place? Seems more like a small diner, doesn’t it?" he turned to look at Chen Yuhe. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"You’ll know once we’re inside!"

Chen Yuhe chuckled, naturally linking her arm through his, as they entered together.

"Welcome, do you have a reservation?" the waiter asked as he quickly approached.

"No, but I have this."

Chen Yuhe shook her head, taking out a black card from her wallet and handing it over.

The waiter’s face immediately lit up with a smile, "So you’re our VIP member, please follow me upstairs."

Ling Feng was somewhat baffled. Such a small place, and you need reservations and membership cards?

Once upstairs, they entered a private room with a view. The waiter promptly brought over two menus, handing one to each of them.

Ling Feng opened his and saw pictures of exquisite dishes that looked delicious.

But the prices were a bit shocking—a salad for 99, a steak for 368, and delicacies like foie gras and caviar were several hundred to thousands!

Although surprised, in order not to look unsophisticated in front of the waiter, he simply looked up at Chen Yuhe.

After she finished ordering, Ling Feng quickly said, "I’ll have the same as her!"

"Alright, please wait a moment," the waiter nodded as he prepared to take back the menus.

But Chen Yuhe shook her head, "I haven’t chosen the wine yet, let me see what to drink."

Upon hearing that, Ling Feng quickly flipped through the menu again and immediately gasped!

"Damn! What kind of wine is this, over a hundred thousand per bottle?"

He couldn’t help exclaiming, and his astonished look made Chen Yuhe finally burst into laughter!

"Still feel like boasting now? I don’t really want the one that’s over a hundred thousand per bottle. I am longing for that three-hundred-thousand bottle, what do you say?" she asked, grinning.

Ling Feng’s mouth twitched and he managed to squeeze out a smile, "Didn’t you drive here? Why drink wine at all? Let’s just get a bottle of soda!"

"Hmph, no way! Bring me a bottle of this." Chen Yuhe rolled her eyes at him and placed her order directly.

After the waiter left, she looked at Ling Feng’s helpless face and suddenly showed a hint of a smile, "You look so nervous, I was just kidding you earlier. I’ll pay for the meal!"

"How could I let that happen? We agreed that I would pay!" Ling Feng immediately shook his head.

Chen Yuhe gave him a serious look, "It has to happen, whether you like it or not. I know you don’t have much money, and the cash in your account is all from loans, right? If Sister Lan and Shiyun find out you’ve spent hundreds of thousands to treat me to a meal, won’t they beat me up?"

Ling Feng forced a smile, "Knowing that and you still ordered such expensive wine. Even if you’re treating, your money didn’t come from strong winds either!"

"That’s none of your business, I have my ways!" Chen Yuhe chuckled.

Seeing her secretive look, Ling Feng felt curious but knew that asking her would be futile, so he simply didn’t ask.

Soon, the food and wine were served. It was Ling Feng’s first time eating Western food, and he had no idea how to start.

So, he could only follow Chen Yuhe’s lead, managing to somewhat mimic her.

"The taste isn’t bad, but these knives and forks are so hard to use!" Ling Feng complained as he ate.

After drinking a few sips of wine, Chen Yuhe’s face was slightly flushed. She glanced at him, "Do you want me to ask the waiter to bring a pair of chopsticks?"

"No, that will embarrass you." Ling Feng quickly responded.

"Hmph, glad you know it!" Chen Yuhe wrinkled her nose.

After the meal, the waiter brought the bill into the private room. Chen Yuhe didn’t take out any money or a card, she simply signed her name and that was that.

Ling Feng watched, dumbfounded, "This works?"

"Hehe, didn’t you know? Of course, it works for me, but it would be useless if you signed!" Chen Yuhe said proudly.

"How did you do that? Why?" Ling Feng didn’t understand.

Chen Yuhe cocked her head to the side, "I’m not telling you!"

Having no choice, Ling Feng stopped asking and followed her down the stairs.

The two of them had drunk an entire bottle of red wine. As the night wind blew, Chen Yuhe’s body swayed slightly. Ling Feng quickly steadied her arm, "Just because the wine is expensive doesn’t mean you have to drink it all. You drank too much, didn’t you?"

"Who says I drank too much? I can handle another bottle with no problem!" Chen Yuhe shook off her arm and freed herself from his grasp.

Ling Feng, speechless, hailed a taxi, helped her into the car, and the two returned to the hotel.

By now it was already ten at night, but the hotel was still brightly lit. The lobby was not as crowded as before, but there were still quite a few guests around.

After going upstairs, Mo Jiaolan looked up and saw the two return, noticing Chen Yuhe’s flushed face, suddenly taken aback!

"This girl drank over half a bottle of red wine." Ling Feng quickly explained.

"Oh, then you better go inside and rest." Mo Jiaolan got up and opened the door to the inside rest room.

Ling Feng, supporting the unsteady Chen Yuhe, started toward the room, but she resisted, struggling a little, "Sister, how was business today?"

"You’re this drunk, and you’re still thinking about it? We’ve already made five hundred thousand in income today," Mo Jiaolan said with a smile.

"That’s wonderful, keep up the good work!" Chen Yuhe clapped her hands.

Seeing her drunken state, Mo Jiaolan shook her head helplessly, stepped forward to support her, "Be good, go lie down quickly. We’ll talk when you’ve sobered up."

This time, Chen Yuhe did not resist and went into the inner room with her.

After a while, Mo Jiaolan came out from the inside and gently closed the door behind her.

"Didn’t expect we’d reach our target on just the second day, what a surprise!" Ling Feng said with a smile.

"Yes, given the current situation, the customer flow might even increase in the next few days. I need to think of some strategies," Mo Jiaolan nodded and sat back down at her desk.

Seeing this, Ling Feng quickly said, "Don’t wear yourself out too much. Just let things take their own course."

"I already have a few ideas. If you’re not in a rush to leave, could you help me take a look and see what you think?" Mo Jiaolan asked, looking up at him.
