Mo Jiaolan thought she had heard wrong, "What?"

"Follow that old man, I want to see where his home is!" Ling Feng said.

"Why?" Mo Jiaolan was confused.

"Don’t ask so much for now, he’s riding an electric scooter, such vehicles can’t go very far, I suspect this old man’s home is nearby!" Ling Feng said.

"Then, alright!"

Mo Jialan nodded and got into the car, and Chen Yuhe, who loved a good commotion, was also excited to join in on the action.

After the car started, it followed in the direction where the old man had left, and after a short while, they saw his figure from behind.

The road was bumpy, and the three were jostled about in the car. After traveling four to five li, they saw that the old man had entered a village.

The three of them talked as they walked toward Shiliu Village, and soon they reached their destination. The two women stopped the car and got out, following Ling Feng as he disembarked.

The crowd began whispering to each other, curiously watching Mo Jiaolan and Chen Yuhe, wondering what the backstories of these two pretty young ladies were and why they had returned with Ling Feng.

Someone with sharp eyes recognized Mo Jiaolan, pointing out that she was the person who took Ling Feng away in the morning, which immediately solved some people’s confusion.

Chen Yuhe didn’t care about the curious gazes of others, pointing at the sign at the entrance and asking, "You’re really a doctor? Is this your clinic?"

"Yeah, why would I lie to you?" Ling Feng said, exasperated.

Mo Jiaolan looked on curiously too, looking left and right before asking, "Your farm is just behind here?"

"Yes, come take a look. Before long, batch after batch of pheasants and wild rabbits will be supplied to your restaurant!" said Ling Feng, leading the two around to the back door.

The mixer in the courtyard was roaring a bit loudly, and Li Shiyun stood there watching the workers build, oblivious to the person who had approached her from behind.

Seeing that she was still there, Ling Feng was touched and immediately stepped forward to pat her shoulder.

"You’re back, who are these two?"

Li Shiyun had just smiled but, noticing Mo Jiaolan and Chen Yuhe, she immediately asked in surprise.

"My friends, this is the owner of the best restaurant in the county town, Mo Jiaolan!" Ling Feng introduced loudly with a smile, then turned to Chen Yuhe and after a pause, said, "This is Manager Mo’s cousin!"

"Hey, what do you mean by that, do I not have a name?" Chen Yuhe asked, visibly displeased.

Mo Jiaolan ignored the two and stepped forward to take Li Shiyun’s hand, "Hello, you must be the Village Chief that Ling Feng spoke of?"

"Hello, my name is Li Shiyun."

The two beautiful women standing together were equally matched, each with their own merits, which made Ling Feng’s eyes dazzle, and he even couldn’t help but stealthily swallow.

This wasn’t a place for conversation, so he stepped forward and said, "Let’s go to the front, it’s too noisy here!"

"Sure."

The four of them turned and left the construction site, entering Ling Feng’s clinic under the watchful eyes of some villagers.
